hi mummies, thanks for giving me hope that A may catch up in height later
but i will switch him to pediasure once I finished the 12 tins of gainIQ.
milkie, YR quite advanced, can play pretend makeup at this age..what to do, most kids imitate mummies cooking, doing chores but since u are tai tai, she can only imitate you putting makeup, blow hair, carry handbag
As for height, I think our kids should be taller than us right? The last time I did the hb's height+my height/2 thing, A min height is 170cm I think, v short but hopefully he can have at least his papa's height.

In my limited experience, the best cot that we've gotten at a local hotel was at The Regent. It was large, and had a good mattress, and came with proper bedding, including a quilt and cot bumpers. They also threw in a set of baby products, and provided a baby bathtub in the bathroom! But then that's a hotel we can't really afford normally. Hee. We were merely using a complimentary anniversary hotel stay cos we had our wedding banquet there.
The other local hotels we've stayed at are OK only. One cot was so narrow that Ben could hardly roll over and the slats were so wide that all his toys fell out.
The Malacca hotel we stayed at last year also gave us quite a nice cot.

PVL, nowadays local hotel prices have skyrocketed! I remember during 2000, you can get a stay at Marina Mandarin or Ritz Carlton for $100+.
I have a Graco Pack n Play which I bought from the US and that travels around with us. Has served us faithfully since Timo's first trip to KL when he was 2.5 months old. However, have not taken any trips with Beth save for the rushed KL trip for my grandpa's funeral and the short port dickson trip. The cots are usually of the rickety wooden type. Very depressing. So we do request for the cot but if it's not up to par (more likely the case), we just whip out our trusty Graco from the car lor.

my MIL have been telling me Ryan refuses to eat anything now... been afew days. Refuses his cereal in the morning, porridge also spit out... how how??
when there is mince meat in his porridge, he'll spit it all out. he only willing to take very soft food, e.g fish. But I cannot comprehend why he doesn't want his cereal, since it's really soft and smooth.
then we thought he doesn't like bland taste anymore, so we tried with things like bovril, but also same problem...
I not sure if maybe he's sick of the food we give him cos my MIL not very creative in food prep. Only porridge everyday...

so when she refuses her food, I either give her more feed of milk or feed little but more frequent..
I think Lil J's 9th and 10th tooth popping.. cos she keep wanting to chew on something.. be it her fingers, a soft toy.. and loves it when i rub on her gums.. so i think the side teeth are popping soon.. teething is such a uncomfortable phase for them.. just try our best to relieve the uncomfy for them..

Took half day morning leave for two interviews yday. One after another and i was rushing like mad. Good interviewers but poor interviewee, dunno how to sell herself and gave convincing reason of leaving current company. No chance for these two interviews. But overall very good interview experience!

I MIA 2 weeks! Been sick..asthma, ended up in A&E again..my hb was on reservist some more.
Glad its over, but doc insist I be on long term asthma medication..no choice this time have to listen to doc, cos next year want to TTC, I dont want to end up in hospital for asthma during my pregnancy again.
Sunsweet..I saw u at city hall mrt on Tuesday evening!..u were going into the train, Yael n me was going out, so couldnt say hi.

catz, is their foundation really good?? which one to use?? i don't use foundation now but using my toner and moisturizer before i put on a 2way cake. My complexion getting very bad now....suddenly got little pimples that will sprout out from my chin. I really don't know if it's the weather that is making it like that or what....very depressing.

huskie, i think yoori IS NOT girly at all seriously if u take out the part where she plays with my make up and carries her bag. Today in her class, she wacked a girl's face and made the girl cry a few times during the class....She is quite rough and i think the girl is not used to the rough treatment. So paisei lor...had to keep saying sorry to the mum. The other day when we went to her pd, she also pushed a girl and poked her arm and face. How do u mummies teach your babies to be less aggro? Last week, she scratched a 5 year old girl's hand while the girl was tryign to play with her. Ended up the girl got so afraid of Yoori everytime she got close. Last week in her class she also made a boy cry by snatching his toys and just being rough with him......
Lala, maybe cherish prefers to do other things mah...not all girls will love playing make up etc. hee hee
smurfy, Yoori loves watching me do pedicure. SHe is always very patient when i'm doing pedicure and doesn't really fuss when we are at the pedicure place. She also loves pointing at my toes or friends' toes after we have finished our pedicures....
charis, your asthma sounds pretty bad. Better look after yourself well and ttc next year. what type of pasta shapes and ingredients u use for your pasta sauce??? Yoori doesn't seem to like pasta now....she very into rice and bread now. She's so weird. One week she ok with fish, the next week, she hates fish....every day feeding her is like striking toto...either i get it right or i don't.

ya, i also told my hub we have to start teaching YR how to be more gentle to other babies. She is too much sometimes. When she doesn't get her way, she pulls my friends' hair and kicks them. Luckily my friends haven't run away from me yet.....
