Re baby shower:
I will prob be getting bb's full mth cake from Bengawan Solo. Intend to give the cake vouchers to relatives and colleagues. If my pils prefer to have the cakes delivered personally, I will order from Melrose..

As for the buffet catering, i will order from Neo Garden. They usually give 20% off for first mth celebration and 21 birthday celebration.. Their food and service is commendable..

Infact I am still cosidering whether to cater their confinement food..

Zhuzhu,
I started taking coconut water during the 3rd trimester. Most folks advise me to start taking young coconut one a week abt a mth before edd..

The bb is consider mature once it reaches 38 weeks of gestation so even if u give birth to ur bb 2-3 weeks earlier, nt really considered pre-mature.. Dun worry too much..

Gd morning all mummies

Icylemon - U must hv gd rest when u r down w flu. Me oso suffered fro cough n bad flu two wks ago. My gynae not in favour of prescribing me med... he asked me to drink more water, take more vit c riched fruits n rest well.

Btw, went for check up last sat. My ger weighs 1.994 kg at 31st wk. Her head is down liao. My subsequent check-up will b every 2 wks... feel so happy cos can see her more often liao.

Sherl - i oso hv pelvic pain yesterday evening. dunno if its due to the knicking/stretching of our baby or not.

wah! Your bb very big liao! Hmmm, dunnoe what my Claire weighs now, last weight measurement was taken at 20 weeks during detailed scan lo. Think my gynae doesn't really like to measure weight.

Sometimes I can distinctly feel she's drilling downwards lo.

Pain siah! But yesterday cannot really feel her, yet the pain didn't go away.

Ladies, when does the CTG monitoring start usually??

my gynae never measure for me. Since 20 weeks, 1 visit she was curled up in a ball and cannot measure anything, then 1 visit my gynae was rushing off somewhere and so never measure.

Sherl - Thanks for the update. I oso occasionally feel the menses cramp. I so worried n told my hubby tt hope its not contraction. Smtm realli wonder how does contraction feel.

Aquarius - I'v recovered fro flu liao. It took abt 1wk+ to go off. Me too, hvnt washed the baby clothes... oni managed to wash her face n bath towels, n cloth napkin.... jialat man.
