No lor, not sheltered carpark lor... is opened carpark. And my hb dun like to park under tress for shade... But put camera in car also risky hor? Haiz, very ma fan... even I have a camera phone also no use... cos can't bring into office. The prob is dunno when will due... If I know when will due, I will bring the camera and deposit with the security guards at the counter haha... But I can't be doing that everyday mah... wait I kena called to meet our Security Officer wor

oh, not sheltered carpark ahh..then like that also quite hard to gage leh..at least u can "store" the cam at the security house..i guess aft ur appt later, hope u get a better idea on the timing that u might pop ba...if during wkdays, then mayb easier for u to gage to bring the cam to offc lor..u dun intend to go back & bath 1st ah..straight away gg to hospital from offc ahh?

Wendy,
dun think gynae can tell me when will due lah. Depends on situation. If waterbag burst w/o contractions, I will go home to bath and take my bag. If is contractions or bleeding, I will admit right away. Then hb will go back to get the bag after I deliver.

I hvnt pop into this thread for almost 2 weeks liao... noticed tat few of u had delivered. congrats to those mummies who's cuddling ur baby now.

Vivian, ur baby so chubby. browsing thru the previous post, tink he shld b 1 wk old liao hor?

oh... n Selina going 4 c-sect today...

seems like all of u are prepared for the big day. me still hv lots of work to clear... super busy. i hope to be able to cuddle my baby soon but i also hope to finish all my work and handover properly b4 i pop if not i sure to receive calls frm office during my confinement 1. in dilemma now.

luckily, my hospital bag is almost packed liao, except for camera and hp charger.

btw, Jenny, tink u mentioned you got the admission letter frm Dr Ang liao rite? did Mdm Chan give you a summary of the bills for claiming medisave? she gave me 1 receipt and told me i only need to submit this upon registration, but when i chk the receipt when i reach hm, i realised this receipt only show the balance amt of the package wic i last paid leh. so am i suppose to dig out all the previous receipts and submit together? tis is my 1st time claiming medisave for pre-natal consultation cos last time when i delivered my no. 1, this was not claimable yet.

heeee, dun regret only now u din engage CL lah. though mum will nag, but she has ur best interests at heart and somehow i feel hor, our own mums sure can negotiate abit here and there, so dun worry too much.

Yes, I got the admission letter and the summary of the bills. Same as you, I went back to check and realised the so called summary is not the full sum. So, I'm bringing all the bills to hospital. Anyway, just pass all the bills to the nurse at hospital, and they will know what to do.

Crystallized, my edd is 14 Oct. Still got 3 wks of wait. Ok lah, my MIL, was kind ebough to take over cooking after I washed the ingredients. Not so bad. Tis morn I also had lose bowel twice liao. In fact got feeling 3rd time might come..

Aspialle, so happy that your hb is back! So you need not worry so much and miss him liao.

Vivian, so envious leh. Your Rhys so cute and his smile so sweet.

Some updates from Jo., her girl was 2.655kg.She endured the pain w/o epi. She said she had 12hrs of bad pain.Today also went back to SGH to check on her bb's mild jaundice. She also waiting for blood test results. She's now staying at her Mum's place so no access to internet. Her BM also hasn't kick in, but working hard on it. And her wound is rather painful so I suggested that she buy a float and use coarse salt to wash it. Expereienced Mums, any idea where to buy coarse salt for wounds? And usually how many stitches we get from the tear?

Wendy, for your info Jo ahem the nigth b4 her delivery, so maybe it did help. But it didn't seem to work for me leh. I even tried loads of other ways to secretly induce my bb, like stroking tummy in circular movements, nipple stimulation, lots of walking, etc all no effect leh. Now Charlotte just cling hard. Prob she enjoys the mooncake too much to come out. Yday, my SIL made mooncakes at home, next wk making another batch, so I guess she's gonna eat all the mooncake b4 coming out.

Yes, my hb needs to go into restricted area to work. Hmm, see how lah. Sui Yuan lah, got camera then take pics lor, no camera also bo bian. Anyway I dun allow hb to take pics of bloody scenes, so er xin.

somehow i think perhaps dun affect everyone lah. like u say, no effect on u mah. i tried nipple stimulation, oso din work on me. i guess our babies will pop when they r ready, meanwhile lets juz wait patiently. i wait until neck long long leh... imagine 1 mth ago i was alrdy waiting, until now...

ur last day is end of the wk rite? wah aft tt can rest all u wan liao. so nice...

everyone of my coll is asking me "why r u still ard?" sigh....

Din see you this morning, tot you went to pop haha...
Use coarse salt to wash the wound, sounds very painful wor. I dunno where to buy wor.
The stitches depends on the wound, dun think got fix how many stitches. That time, if I remembered correctly, I got 12 stitches for 3 tears. Ask Jo to use warm water to wash the wound area? My mum said warm water will heal faster.

Your Charlotte is staying too comfortable in your tummy with the goodies lah

gynae allows ur hb to take bloody scenes? i dun think my gynae will allow, and most imptly, dun think my hb dares to. if its allowed and he dares to, i wanna it to b recorded. coz i cant see myself wat. but its impossible one lor, i noe during delivery, gynaes usually dun allow filming.

eh nvm lah, scully we both really go into labour tog, can lend u my camera!

Crystallized, cos Jo say since her bb born 36wks6days, they register her as pre-mature so she and hb felt guilty, not sure if it's the Ahem that induced lor. My gynae allow filiming of the entire scene so long as hb don't zoom in on the staff and make them feel awkward. But I forbid him to take what's happening below. I say he can only take from where I can see. I don't want myself to be exposed. Feel pai seh.

Jenny, the coarse salt is to be diluted in the water and not to rub on the wound. Else really painful.

36wks, they register her as pre-matured liao? hmmm, think depends on the hospital classification bah. my gynae says 36 wks not considered pre-term liao.

heee, luckily is not to rub on wound lah! i cant imagine how painful! OUCH!

Crsytallized, I'll be delivering in KKH. I think also have to depend on which gynae. Some gynae don't allow. I think many of my relatives, like Mum, MIL, etc would want to see the video lor, so unless my hb can edit the video to censored and uncensord version. But I also scared the scene looks too ugly so did not want to let hb flim so as to prevent him from seeing. Dunno why Charlotte usually hiccup after I eat...

jus came back from lunch with hubby..it's painful again walking..bcoz of this, i really got the urge to walk-in to RH tmrw morn for induction leh..i feel like crying when i cant walk much w/o hubby's aid..was thinking will it be more painful at the pelvic or vaginal area aft we go thru natrual birth..then maybe c-sect will be more straight forward..at least lesser waiting time also..

Me when discharged, my mum carried the baby.
During the PD visits, my CL carried the baby too.
We din use the car seat.
Will probably use it slightly later. Now since the baby is still small, think carry better. But we did strap on the seat just in case. hee...

Crystallized, Charlotte's rxn always very fast. Like when I'm eating sweet things she starts moving, when I'm upset, I can feel her tense up. Not sure why so fast leh, maybe my body's hormones react very quickly and affects her.

Wendy, you can try lah. It's didn't work for me. Although my motive wasn't to really induce birth lah. But jus realise it did not have any effect.

Although I'm keen to have Charlotte out, I think it's better for her to fatten abit b4 birth, so I also hope she'll be due 39wks or 40wks.

Aspialle, Selina went thru c-sect. Selina says her bb got some hair, not botak.

Just to share a warning from JO. This morning she heard bb cry and went to check on her, found blanket to be covering bb's face and she can't breath. Although blanket was initally tightly wrapped around bb, little bb just had the strength to pull it up to cover her own face. I was suggesting to her to buy the kind of blanket that she can slot bb in to prevent her from pulling blanket to cover her own face again.

wondering if u all experience ur belly button like very hot like that..i try to put my hand at the belly button, seems like it's very warm but i m already staying in the air-con room thruout..so i cant imagine how come i will feel hot at the belly button only..

Wendy, the blanket she used was a cloth nappy...I just put my hand on my belly button, it's cold.

aiyo..i thot she use those very thick blanket..then better to slot in & leave a wider space not near to baby's neck ba so that at least when baby kicks, blanket wont be lift up & cover baby's face lor..oh, ur belly button is cold ahh..weird leh..i m in air-con room then me already like shivering at the feet..but belly button is hot like i m running a fever..maybe i m too heaty liao..felt very hot aft eating 2 bread from breaktalk when it's freshly out from the oven this morn & then a baked dbl yolk mooncake this afternoon..
