My doc told me to continue with BFing and told me the antibiotics is safe for BFIng. So I continued...anyway, it's too late to worry about it liao...done deal.

melody - As long as your BB is happy (feed on demand as they say) and your doc is happy with your BB, then everything is OK lor!
Even's Video - OMG...cried and cried...Yup, it really teaches me to treasure my boy more and more. It really doesn't matter if we have BB boy or girl as long as our BB is healthy, that's what counts!

it's true lor, we're very blessed wif our healthy bbs. everyday is so precious, the time spent wif them.

Any of ur babies having 'merlion' problem? Oso my son has very irregular appetite recently. He sometimes can finish a whole bottle of milk but sometimes have to finish in 2 feeds and the interval is getting longer ie 4 or 5 hrs, used to be 3hrs. He still has phlegm altho he is already 2 months. Did u all encounter the same problem?

my bb used to hv merlion problem cos of reflux. but much better now at 2+ months. occasionally, wif a burp or hiccup, he'll throw up milk still. ya, his feeds & intervals still very irregular. at night drinking lesser, more in the day time but after a poo, he drinks lesser.
re phlegm - compared to 1 month ago, much lesser liao but still hv. PD said it's common. i just ensure he drinks water in between feeds cos i was told the brand of milk i feed him can be heaty.

these few days my mother has been feeding baby water, and his intake drop. last time was abt 750ml/day, now abt 650ml/day.

no ley, i still give him his full feed an hour or 2 later, and he can finish it. i give abt 50ml water in between feeds. errr, i think his intake now hor, comes up to abt 900ml/day.
i giving him Nestle NAN. someone told me it will make bbs fat so i'm thinking if i shld switch back to Similac. (maybe switch back when he 4 months old, starting semi solids time)

No, Ju still wake up for feed and worse he cant sleep very soundly near dawn time. Keep figetting and make those noise. I need to wake up many times to ensure he find a comfortable spot. Stime just put him in sarong.

Control feed? I only control my daughter feed at 1.5 yr old leh. Unless PD said ur boy is overweight else no need to control the feed at all.
Like milk is better than rejecting right. U will have big headache what to feed him.
My daughter like milk but since she shld be eating solid food so i ony allow her to take 3-4 feed each day. Which i still think alot.
Milk can be very useful when the kids are sick they cant take in any solid then milk is the best source of nutrient.

hong, wah, like that i better give him milk whenever he is hungry, wait he not enough nutrients. my bb Ethan also makes that kind of noises in the middle of night. i end up waking up each time he does that...very tiring. can imagine! u know ah, when i wake up to check on him, he stop making those noises, when i turn light off, he start again. ya, same here. if i keep him awake in the evening, he is likely to sleep longer and wake up later for feed. hee, ur girl likes milk, good ah. very cham if dun like. when did u start feeding semi solids for ur girl? 4 months?

i m also giving him NAN. each feed abt 90ml, abt 3hrly. somedays will have 120ml for one or 2 feeds. does giving him water helps him poo? Mine now can 3-4days poo once. previously did not drink so much water, 1-2 days poo once. so i m not sure if water helps. he drinks abt 10ml of water in btw feeds.

last time when i gave my boy less water, he will have constipation where he push his stools until he cry. I think it's painful. So now my mum tries to give him plenty of water and his stools is soft and sometimes watery. On certain days he will even poo twice. My boy doesn't like NAN so i gave him frisco and NAN will result in dark green stools.

my bb poos like once or twice a day. i think water does help to reduce heatiness and in pooing more regularly?
oh, thought dark green poo is quite common for FM-fed babies. so NAN causes the poo to be dark green. my bb's poo is like paste, quite smelly also, dunno is it cos of the FM brand? cos when he was on Similac, never noticed the stink.

Ok, maybe i shall continue with the water intake n monitor his poo situation.
my baby also doesn't seem to be hungry if he has people to carry him and look around. very kaypo!
