happy.gif

hello mummies - wow... all of you still awake?

paula - wow... thomson is a nice area....
happy.gif
will you be selling your current place? now should be a good time to sell... ke ke...

pauline

thks for the multi vit link. wow.. u lookin @ thomson. it's a good area... stayed here for the whole of my life. hehehe..

kelly sooo sweet
happy.gif
Btw, today mandy fix up the railway track of Thomas the train. Am surprised she knows how to link them.

Mummies
Just back from Gentings. Didn't bring S this round, but found the place really cut out for our tots ... lots of stuff to keep them occupied: indoor theme park, outdoor theme park, snowland, and heaps of others. And of cos for the adults, CASINO. Weather is splendid, a v nice getaway from current Singapore's weather.

Paula
Kell's sweet. Next Fri 9 May date on ah? Dal's joining too, u ok the whole day or only from afternoon onwards? Cake-wise, lets speak more when we meet.

Cutiezayn, I called JW branch up and they say have trial classes leh. JW branch is more convenient then BT for me. So you find JW branch no good ah.

Kite, me too, everything on hold due to hfmd, can you find out from your friend how is the JW branch?

Pawprint, thanks for sharing the colour balloon method...will try that!

Dal, your Jezoir make the centre manager paiseh...haha kenna corrected by a 2 year old. LOL!!

Lyn, me too interested to get the miso paste. Can share the brand?

Paula, Kelly is so sweet.

Aishite, I was thinking of bringing Jerica to genting for the longest time but scared the journey is too tiring for both mummy and tod.

Dor, wah...Mandy so clever

Joy & Paula, its so amazing your tods can fix puzzles already. I find that Jerica is very impatient, when she play with wooden melissa & doug puzzles and cannot get the piece into the board, she will just leave it on top of the hole or tell me to fix it for her...everytime I tell her must rotate the piece until it fits properly, but she just cannot be bothered...haiz..

hi Dor!!
happy.gif

me ok.. wow you so fast cheonging sales with Shannon. Was telling my fren, now a good time for maternity leave! so many sales!!

dal,

JZ so smart!
happy.gif
hmmm reminds me of the advertisement - dad said flower, boy corrected dad said its Orchid.

heehee i m still awake, nite owl here.

Spicegal:
my fren told me quite good leh. She also mentioned the teacher called Esther is good wor. I believe u r looking at enrichment class since Jerica already with LV on wkdays?

Nite nite.
happy.gif

MTDT,

nice meeting u and Z at the concert. I should have brought J along. But we thoroughly enjoyed the concert. S was so sad when the concert ended. Brought back some memories of me performing with my flute.. one of the songs I performed before was "under the sea" too.

poohy = glad to meet u.

we also enjoyed the concert v v v much.
Zav also asking for more... then today whole day playing with the piano&guitar. hahaha :p

sunflower,
thx for the compliment. once i was removing his t-shirt to shower him and said pjamas instead. he also corrected me! haha...

spicegal,
haha.... well, at least i know he is not a yes-man lor.... :)

paula,
if u hv no intention to withdraw kell from LV@RP, then i may just stop my search! haha...
jezoir has a place in chiltern house forum but i'm viewing their turf club premise tomo to see if it is any good. :)
thomson is a good area. nice developments! :)

cheri,
i was thinking of visiting TELC but i'll be moving to woodlands soon so clementi and jurong area out for me liao. :)

Hi Spice, I ask last year they say no trial lei. Maybe they change already, still remember I went with my colleague during lunch time and that lady was so rude just ignored us by saying "all class here very popular no need to trial"
Since there is trial then just go and c la.

The class Zach had yesterday was about the same as the rest of the trial that we hv attended.

- Start with free play
- story telling
- cookie making using clay and water colour for decoration
- recognising shapes and colour
- teacher go thru A to Z (Phonics)
- Sing song and follow by good bye song.

The teacher was good...so I think I will just continue.

Dal, since you moving to Woodland why not you join Kell at LV@RP. Paula hv so much good commends about LV.

MTDT,
Another webby … www.chelona.net. Good offering of memory games! Just brought two this afternoon and it was great fun!

Toto,
So far, hubby said that he wouldn’t want to sell the current flat cos he wants to collect rent.

Dor,
Not your Thomson area keke … but Upper Thomson Road … near Velvocity that area.

Ashite,
Onz lah … but I can only make it after 2pm cos there will be rituals carried out in the morning.

Dal,
Yea lah… Kelly has been waiting for you till neck long long liao lah. When will you be relocating? I heard that the school will be starting a new class in June 08 … so if you are serious, do give Joan a call ar…

dal
yes, i think distance is a real big factor in the choice of schs for them. So if u r moving to Woodlands, no need to think further liao...just put JZ in RP lah...

paula
i hv the shadow set as well from GF...my ger likes it all except the set wif all the transportation vehicles...she'll always leave this set to the last of the 4 & then get up to walk ard do other stuff once she reaches this set...typical ger man!

Cheri,
Yea, that is fun. We just brought it today and after one or two round, we decide to piece all four shadow puzzles together and test her, boy manz, she is just amazing!

paula
wow, u actually mixed up all the 4 sets to do at one go? hahah no wonder u say even we adults need to think think first...K is really good; u must be so proud of her!

Cheri,
Yea, d thing about her is that she will get bored of doing the same things once she knows how to do it ... so, we always have to try different methods of playing with her. We got her this who knows whose nose set. Once she knows how to play, she will get bored with it. And we just have to start playing differently. Instead of getting her to place the right nose at the right card, we lay out all 18 cards and put the noses on the wrong card (i.e., crocodile nose on pig card and etc) and get her to change things around.

So I told hubby, can’t fault me for buying non-stop because of her daughter’s appetite to learn! At the end of the day, everything just pays off lah … today she just surprises us by wearing her own socks!

paula - wow... so many toys.
wat exactly did u get from the chelona?

I got a few puzzles from chelona only
happy.gif

chelona - growing fun also sells... but not the whole range.

think "myspecialkid" online shop also hv some.

last time, toto helped us to grab chelona at $5 each nia... closing down sale. haha

Kite, yes I am looking at enrichment classes, planning some activities for her on Sat.

Cutiezayn, ya, most likely will go for the trial class to see how..maybe JW branch no business, that's why have trial classes...haha

Paula, you are doing a great job grooming Kelly.
kao_biggrin.gif

Good morning!

Dal: Your boy is good! Can say excavator - 4 syllable word 8) The teacher must be quite taken aback.

Paula: Kelly is doing very well indeed. I have a set of animal shadow puzzle but it's cardboard material instead of wood. I got them from JL last time. Think kiddy palace also has.

Good morning ladies
happy.gif

Dal,
WOW... J is so clever! Well done!

Pauline,
Kelly is really amazing! Wes doesnt have the patience at all... when he cant place them in... he will ask "mummy, help pleeeeaseee!" *sigh*

Paula has generously said no need to pay, so I leave it to you gals how you wanna manage it (I suggested to her each person cough up a nominal 10 bucks, but she declined, so it's up to your discretion on how you wanna repay her in kind, ie wash K's diapers for a month, prepare her breakfast for a week etc :))

What I will do is go get another cake and spilt the cost amongst ourselves sans Paula . Given my usual draconian way, I will exercise discretion, wisely of course, on choice of cakes, and trust me, it won't be a fusion of Thomas-The-Train-cum-Barbie. But PM me if you have any smashing ideas of designs.

Hi,

Would like to ask for advice on housing loans. Nowadays the loans are all against SIBOR. Is it a good idea to refinance under this new type? What is the chance of SIBOR going up in the next 2 yrs? Any idea how high SIBOR has gone up to based on history? Called a local bank & they said the SIBOR rate used will be reviewed on yearly basis. At 1st glance, seems good to refinance since the new rate is much lower. However, not sure if there's any implication to it in the medium/long term.

Paula and Ashite,

heee... me buay pai seh and here i come ;)

sad.gif
i feel so sad now...

Angeline dear,
37.1 is not fever lei! 37.6 and above the considered fever! Are the teachers out of their mind? How to maintain a body temperature under 37 in Singapore weather?

Angie,
Even for Kelly's school, if she arrived with a temp of 37.6 or 37.7, her teacher would let her cool down first and retake in 15 minutes times just to ensure that the temperature is not a result of feeling hot.
