Yeah... no need to use the infant insert for the ergo carrier now since your boy'sd neck is tough liao...

I have been applying california calendula cream on my girl for her eczema problems... and it really helps.. find it so much better than the GAIA smoothing cream
 


Do you find that your babies are less interested in drinking milk now? My girl keeps looking at me after suckling for awhile (I latch her on all the time) and she is not interested in nursing after that.. any such problems for those who bottle feed?

my girl is exactly the same, she either looks at me or looks around, everyone's been saying she's very kaypoh

she only suckles for a long time when she's tired and is about to fall asleep or take a nap. when i occasionally give her a bottle of EBM, it's the same, except that i can move the bottle with her as she gazes around!!!

my son is on total EBM. recently, it's quite hard for him to finish the last 20ml or so, he will look around and play around with the bottle teat with his tongue. i have to keep telling him to finish up.
 
Anyone organising Drugstore spree? Tot of buying First Teeth toothpaste n Hyland's Homeopathic Teething Tablets.

according to the health booklet, the baby's central incisors , i.e. the front centre teeth will come out first in the 5-6 mos. PD says at 4mos, teeth is forming at the gums liao, but not yet teething.

i do feel like my girl is drinking less than before but then i also think that she drinks for a shorter time cos she suckles more efficiently now. she's still putting on weight so i don't think i'm gonna introduce FM till later on. i've started letting her try rice cereal and fruits and she's very keen, but it's really just a taste only, not enough to replace a meal yet.

you can get california baby products at Kids 21 boutiques but it's more costly than getting it from the US sprees.

my boy sama sama...super KPO...need total silent, once he hear some sound or people talking, he will getup and look around and that's the end of the feed...that's why he has been drinking lesser and lesser...growth slow down oso...he used to put on avg 1kg a mth now only 500g a mth...

I din buy the ergo carrier in the end...my boy dont like to be in there when he is awake leh. he struggle and struggle wants to get out. the moment I take out nia...he happy liao...he is simply a very KPO boy...

my boy is drinking the same amt but at longer intervals. i checked with pd, he said DON'T increase the feed and try to stretch even longer interval. i dun think i will intro solids yet, will keep him on total BM till 5th mth.

my boy oso like to 'shout', or should i say 'scream'. sometimes we take him out shopping and he would be screaming in his stroller and everyone will turn and look at us, so embarrassing!
 
Gals, any of u using avent cups? Can reuse or not since the package says disposable and to be reuse only for 4 times? Abit waste money if so lehz..

i am using avent via cups too. i re-use it for many many times alrdy. so far ok. *fingers crossed*. wat i read fm instruction leaflet was dispose it after 4 times to prevent wear &amp; tear. i see the cups look good lei.... hope its really ok to re-use multiple times.
 
ET, hahaha i guess different bb reacts differently in the carrier. i guess u will have to relay on pram if not, u will have difficulty to carry him ard.

Yup..Ivec drinks lesser these days..my mil started mixing brown rice cereal w bm &amp; he took ultra long to finish e bottle..mabbe becos my mil was watching tv as well..so being kaypoh..he also watches..as if he understand e program..:p

RE: reused of cups
I dun use e cups..find it a bit space consuming..using e bags instead &amp; hv been resuing it for several times until e ink on e bag start to wear off..heheh..recently just throw away many of these old looking bags

RE: Flipping over
Been putting Ivec on our bed to let him train his flipping skills &amp; he surprised us as well as himself by successfully flipping over &amp; finishing off by holding his head high. What is amusing is tt he has this really satisfied &amp; contented look after doing so..heheh...so cute.

Talking about flipping, my girl loves flipping now.. put her down and she will keep flipping and will scream for help if cannot flip back.. gosh...

can a 4mth old baby face out? is it very warm if the baby stay in for long?
i'm thinking of renting for next week as I'm bring the elder one to the zoo, will be bring the bb also.

Think my girl's feeding routine shld be normal... will double check with PD when I bring her for her 5th mth jab later.. made ling yang drink for her last night, and intend to let her drink chrysanthemum tea later, hope that she wont develop fever after her jabs later...

Irene, there is no face out position for the ergo carrier, only face in position.. Amanda has been sitting in the ergo carrier since 4 mths old.. and it is so far so good

It can be quite warm cos of hte body to body contact.. but guess its the same for all carriers bah..

ET, Amanda struggled initially when I 1st put her in the carrier, but she is ok with it after a few unsucessful tries..

A friend of mine is giving up her slot in the ergo carrier BP as she needs one urgently so got a 2nd hand one instead, see if you gals are itnerested in taking over:

remember i din buy the Ergo carrier as my boy dun like it even after i tried 7-8times. Recently i bought Combi and he seem ok so far. Maybe u can give it a try.

Ya lots of different version . after trying out for 2 hrs (really solid 2 hrs) finally decided on the simple version which is able to face in and out only. I like the material of the latest version w the NB insert but too bad he not NB anymore so not worth it lor.

i paid $118 b4 10% discount w VIP card. the box indicated till 11.3kg but the salesgal tld me if u are not handfree and hold on abit can tahan more than tat indicated weight.

Jus want to share that i m using BabyBjorn carrier. God sent! Baby can face out n super easy to clip on n off (even wif one hand). Have been using it since baby was 2 mths old since the padding is quite sturdy.

got model no. huh? i only saw the box indicate facing forward and backward type. It is the one w/o the cradle position . U can refer to the pics on the box that only has face in and out method.

My gal v funny. Bring her go church then she like can flip easily but at home she simply dun quite flip. Just keep turning left and right, waving her hands and laughing and chuckling when she sees me when I come back from work.

i've been using the baby bjorn since birth too!! me and hubby couldn't have managed without it during the 1st 2 mths, our girl would fall asleep in it all the time!! now it's a bit snug though and she only rides facing out.

he is ok in the carrier when he tired n wants to sleep, can sleep comfortably in it but once he charged his energy liao....he wants to look around liao...that's why making noise wants to come out. I'm wondering isit he is too small in size to be in the carrier cos the 2 shoulder stripes like blocking his view leh and sometimes rubbing against his face...haiz...actually I really like the carrier leh...but my hb is against the idea of buying if bb dont like it

My hb is using the Combi's 4way8methods carrier n I'm using the MOMsinmind sling. Both are working fine for Xuanting and she can sleep in both.

But of course, for the combi one, she can "c" in front n it was so comfortable tat she can sleep after a while though we re still walking. Heehee.=p

For the sling, I'm carrying her sideways so she can look @ me n the surroundings.

For me i dun think i will use the carrier for a long time as how to carry a 12kg or more bb

btw u can try the carrier. i tried at Toa Payoh Hub KP. Tat KP has less ple and u can just take fm the shelf and try. the staff there also can teach u how to use. Imagine i m there 2 hours trying almost every brand on the shelf. Luckily they never shove me out lor :p
