matchgal, i also bought the babysafe mattress but my $$ went down the drain coz' this little boy INSIST sleeping next to me and up my hub slp against the wall just in case "crash" him up. now i'm so regret i should have bought a king size bed instead hahaa!
Tracy, my little rascal will need us to pat and rock him to slp and must carry him until he is willing to slp before i'm able to put him down next to me and latch him on till his total knock out and put him on his tummy... WOW looking at my own words i alr feel very tired haha. If i put him straight on his tummy he will WAIL loudly. But i kw my pil simply disapprove the idea that i let him slp on his tummy, but see his head round round they keep quiet

By the way, do your babies willing to sit at a place for long? I bought a very nice cushion high chair for him to sit (Since he cant fit in the Bumbo) but he is only willing to sit there less than 20 mins. then he wants pple to carry him, wonder is there anything i can do to make him sit on it longer so we can play with him. If carry him i cant play with him much lei.

headache now, (as hunniepot mentioned, regretted big time, not traine her to put on tummy since new born)
My SIL keep blaming us say why never let bb sleep on tummy. cos her son like to sleep on tummy...and have a round head.

You wont need to have flash cards for the session
As the instructor will bring his own, but recommended that you practise flash cards on him after learning the proper way.. you can choose to buy from him or you can purchase your own from elsewhere..

Yeah! She has been trying and trying since her miscarriage, so glad that she is successful this time round.. quite sad initially, cos both of us got married in the same month, got pregnant at almost the same time...

My dear friend who was pregnant b4 me then later got to abort bb as bb no heartbeat later, still trying.

lousy at contraception leh.
dun like to use condom cos sensitive.
take pills scared forget/grow fat/side effect.
so i used billings method lor,
but half past 6, so get preggie.
this time seriously condsidering IUD/Yasmin,
cos stopping at 2. cannot cope liao....
i ask my OB for ligation, but she dun allow leh.
Haiz....not easy to be woman.
when your turn come, u will noe not easy to be mum of 2...esp how to be fair to the children.

Hanson is also full of expresssions when he sleeps. Sometimes smile, sometimes pout. But the <u>bean sprout pillow</u> really helped. whenever his startle reflex comes on, he not so scared, so continue to sleep. btw, i also give him pacifier. so, when he wake on from shock, his hand will touch the bean sprout pillow, then he will suck on the tu tu and continue to sleep...

Gals, I brought my Brendon for a trial on the Bumbo and guess what...
After I put him on, his thighs got stuck. The look is as if his thighs machiam 'wrapped dumplings' aka bao ba-jang!!!
Very funny and he looked so confused...
Verdict...Bumbo no go for me but I would love to let him try again and take a photo just so to remember the funny scenario.

Amy, hahaha did you really should take some photo of that moment coz' it will be so cute? Mine too kanna stuck and we have "pull" his leg out from the Bumbo.. i manage to take some photo of him sitting on it, he look so confuse and funny! But after that he got petty coz' I keep laughing at him. bad mama har.

Hunniepot, ya i could understand is really tough. Share with you, i have a frd who is pregnant 3 mths before mine. But hers was stillborn and worst it was almost to her due date. She too cant be with me during my later pregnancy and unable to be happy for Isaac arrival. coz' will only make her remember hers.
However, i heard that she is pregnant again and i'm so worry for her health :s anyway, i'm very happy for her and super worry for her. We shall pray for your friend and mine that they will have a safety and smotth pregnancy ride this time

Admire all of u that your babies can sit in the bumbo. I tried to put Lucas on it, he screamed and lift his butt by making himself so straight and stiff. I had to pull him out from it and worst, his knees got stucked making him screamed even louder! It will be a waste if he cant sit in it. My bumbo is brand new!

He has been to countries such as China, Indonesia, Malaysia to conduct courses for parents who are interested in using flash cards to stimulate their babies' right brain.
Our babies' brains are like a recorder at this point in time, they are able to imprint in their minds, what they have seen and heard around them.
He used flash cards on his daughter 19 years ago, when she was just a baby. Thus, at the age of 14 months, she was able to understand many English words, and was able to read story books, newspaper articles and magazines at the age of 2.
The article did not state his credentials though.. he did stress to me that the purpose of the course is to teach parents the right techniques on how to teach their babies..

Hunnie and mom_yam, good for your friends. They are pregnant now. Now must pray for a smooth pregnancy. I have a friend who is in her late thirties. She had still birth then and I was so heartbreak to see what she was going through. Guess the only thing we can do is to lend them listening ears or companionship when they need it.

Thanks for compliments! no lar, i don't think he is teething but he like to suck his fingers and pull his bean pillow to his mouth to suck now..
he is also trying to turn over now. My mom said its too fast for a bb, so i am asking anyone's bb trying to turn over now
