What FM are you giving Nixon now? I have 1 tin of similac on standby.. not too sure whether it is good or not.. and it is quite ex.. $14+ for 1 small tin

I have fed my girl some amts of FM also.. from those glass bottles of FM from the hospital.. managed to get 5 bottles from the nurses and have been using those so far.. but running out liao.. trying not to give my girl FM as long as I can bf her.. gave her FM on occasions when I was really too tired, having sore nipples or when we were outside lor.. BTW did you bring Nixon out when you went shopping?

so envious of all e mummies who pop.. me EDD 10/4, on ML now, today first day.. so bored, whole day at home, cuz dun dare to travel far.. so reading a lot of threads, more i read, more i fret.. everything seems so difficult.. alas!!

Could sthg, like loud sound etc hv scared Nixon when you guys were out? or can check his poopoo. My gal used to jerk while sleeping when still a BB tho we've bean pillow on her chest, dunno Y but when u put BB to sleep on the side, tendncy is much lower. Maybe u can try?

juzmaine, his poo yellowish past few days and today.. if he got scared, he will get greenish poo poo.. although Nix is coming to 6 weeks old but we still wrap him up and place the beansprout pillow on his chest.. he nvr jerk tat much for the past few weeks.. only these few days.. i've let him sleep on his side sometime but he twist and turn and sleep on his back again.. my mum urge me to let him sleep sarong so tat he can sleep soundly.. i'm thinking of letting him try to sleep on sarong but afraid he will get addicted to it and dun wanna sleep on cot.. and my mil against the idea of letting him sleep on sarong..

ya Jumbo...my gal was "addicted" to sarong too tho I strongly object initially but mil deem BB can sleep soundly wif it. Read that cannot swing too much cos BB's brain is fragile, so all the more I objected but I do agree BB sleeps longer and thankfully my in-laws din swing too hard too, so let them be, but another prob arise, ie when BB knows how to struggle and sit up cos it's dangerous as there are cases BB fell out loh...so better to place a cushion underneath...come to tink of it, lotsa doubts but it has proven that BB sleeps better, plus my gal grown out of it automatically so my worries initially were unfound 
For the sake of BB, give it a try but with safety measures taken, at least we larn what is gd for BB wat is not

juzmaine, think can use cloth peg to clip on the sarong "entrance" to "close up" the "entrance" when ur bb know how to turn.. me still thinking wanna buy sarong or not.. thanks for ur advise, girl..

hunniepot and preciousbabe.. my Nixon very timid one leh.. small little sound will make him scare sometime.. he will get a "shock" in his sleep when i cough, sneeze.. but loud sound like plane fly over or thunder nvr scare him.. dun understand.. keke.. i describe him as elephant.. dun scare big animal.. scare mouse nia.. wahahaha
hihi, me dun have to worry abt my ML.. today c gynae, he says better to induce cuz too long, might have complication.. so me going to induce tomorrow.. likely to pop tomorrow or thursday..
hope it'll be a fast one..

juzmaine, ya lor, zipper sarong will be nice.. wahaha.. think we can go and invent one and benefit all mummies.. keke.. my hubby and me plan to go holiday early May, without baby, before i go back to work and celebrate hubby's bday.. we're planning korea or perth.. last year we went to tasmania with a couple friend.. self drive there.. good experience..

Hehe.. I studied in Perth for 3 years.. made plans to go back there at least once every 2 years.. didnt go back last year cos got pregnant.. best time to go is June to August.. if you want the coldest period

Hi gals, been long time din come in chit chat...
Congrats to those already give birth.
Me din take any ML, will still work till pop. Dun wan to waste my ML. Me till now still rushing my last work hope can get it done b4 ML.
My hubby every night can't sleep well, he say whenever i wake up for toilet, he wuld stay alert in case my water bag burst in mid night.

today is start of my ml..trying to do some of my own stuffs b4 bb decides to come out..later will b gg for my gynae check to c whether my cervix has ripen..

where will u be?? me'll be at mt a..
does anyone know if mt a delivery suite allows laptop?? and if induce how many days do we stay there?? cuz my gynae asked me to be there at 915 am, then admitted to e hospital in e afternoon..
me quite confused now, so e charges will be one day at e delivery suite.. from tomorrow afternoon till potentially thursday when i gave birth?? then ward charges kick in?
irene, think if u go and have a meal and monitor, if still no movement better go c doc.. cuz bb most active after meal, so just in case of false alarm.. but better safe than sorry..

I'll check for u. But tell u hor, Celyn is abit slow one. I actually called her 1 week before my op and she sent the pillow to me only 4 days after I deliver. So y might have to wait for a while for the pillow lor.

kyla, dun worried about the induced. My 1st bb was induced too. I was put on drip at 11+am and bb was out at 5+pm.
did the doctor mentioned to you that your cervix has opened? If opened, it will be faster, if not open, they will insert the tablet to induce the birth.
I've just eaten my lunch. sitting down here in front of the pc. monitoring the movement. Also have the tightening feeling but no pain leh.. i scare false alarm also.

I stayed in hospital for 2 full days while on induction.. induced 3 times.. cervix still not opened big enough.. ended up c-section.. but for most cases I have heard.. most pple induced once can liao.. and it is normally pretty fast.. hospital stay shld be the same as ND
