September School Holidays 2019: 26 Fun Events and Activities to Keep your Little Ones Busy
It’s the September school holidays again. If your children are attending local schools in Singapore this is the second, and last week-long holiday of the year for them. It’s also their final break before term four (and exams) begin. Take this opportunity to play together before they have to put their noses to the grindstone. In addition, this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival falls within the school holiday week so it’s a double celebration!

:: NEW! :: Hear the Stories of City Hall
Some of us are old enough remember the National Gallery when it was the City Hall. But did you know that this building served as a bomb shelter during the Japanese Occupation, and housed Singapore’s first Public Complaints Bureau? No? Next up is an interactive Social Wall. This works like a ‘choose your own adventure’ story: select a curated theme (eg: Places and Landscapes, or even Surprise Me), answer questions, and you’ll get a customised selection of artworks that you can learn more about on screen, or check out in real life at the Gallery.
And while you’re at the Gallery, do remember to stop over at the Gallery Children’s Biennale for some child-sized fun that adults will love too!
