Pororo Is Coming to Singapore!

If you have got a toddler or preschooler at home, the name Pororo is bound to ring a bell. For those of you who are not too familiar with animated characters, Pororo is a little penguin who hails from South Korea. He is typically seen wearing blue dungarees, big round aviator goggles and a tan coloured aviator cap. Pororo hangs out with a bunch of his friends, also from the animal kingdom; Crong the dinosaur, Eddy the fox, Poby the polar bear and Loopy the beaver!

Pororo fans, get this – he and his entourage are all set to grace Singapore’s shores this November! Pororo Park Singapore will be the latest addition to the list of indoor playgrounds here in Singapore. Spanning over 11,000 square feet, the park will be the first of its kind in Southeast Asia and the newest home of these cute critters!

Play is Important!

Looking for reasons to take your kids to an indoor playground? Well, a visit to an indoor playground lets kids be… kids! In our current fast-paced world where technology seems to dominate almost every aspect of our lives, it is essential to get children to disconnect from their gadgets every now and then in order to engage in hands-on activities. The upcoming Pororo Park Singapore will give your kids the perfect chance to do just that! The largest character-themed indoor playground in Singapore will offer attractions that are designed to entertain, exercise and educate children while reinforcing good social skills within a group play environment. Here’s what you can expect on your visit there!

What’s In Store At Pororo Park Singapore?

Young fans of Pororo will enjoy the various entertainment facilities which the integrated educational and entertainment indoor playground has to offer. These include the Pororo Express – a train ride for little ones and the iconic centrepiece of the park, the Pororo House – a replica of Pororo’s house featured in the animated series, and the Hinoki Experience – a play area for toddlers filled with Hinoki wood, which is one of the most prized types of wood in Japan.

Also parts of Pororo Park Singapore are Eddy and Petty’s Rooms. These are two classrooms cum party rooms modelled after two of Pororo’s friends in the series, Eddy and Petty. Apart from holding character-themed birthday parties here, educational lessons such as Petty’s Art Class and Eddy’s Science Class will also be held on a regular basis to provide a holistic edutainment environment that takes fun and creative learning to a whole new level!

Both parents and children alike can also look forward to mini parades, character meet-and-greets, and sing-along shows featuring Pororo and his friends at TongTong’s Little Theatre. There will be additional shows scheduled on weekends to ensure that every minute you spend at Pororo Park Singapore is filled with boundless fun and endless surprises!

If the kids are feeling hungry from all that play, stop by the sixty-seater Loopy’s Café which offers a delectable spread for both adults and kids. The food comes with an awe-inspiring view of the Marina Bay skyline! The café will also provide free Wi-Fi so that parents can stay connected while their children have a ball in the park. That sounds like a great deal to us!
