Hi ocean,
Most girls have anteverted uterus, which are slightly titled to the tummy. Retroverted uterus, on the other hand, is tilted towards the back, it happens to about 15% of the population.
Usually, the gynae will be able to tell by ultrascan.
I had spotting problem and constant mild lower ab cramp during my last pregnancy. I have a colleague who also have retroverted uterus, faced the same problem and got to resort to having injection till week 22 of her pregnancy. But she is fortunate as her pregnancy last and now she got a beautiful baby daughter.
Anyway, I have check and was told the spotting is unlikely to be link to the orientation of the uterus.
