I've not tried natural FET b4. Like u said natural need to keep scanning to catch ovulation, if no ovulation or missed, then need to cancel.Hi ladies, would like to get your feedback on natural vs medicated FET. I’m scheduled to do FET in Aug, still waiting for AF. I could not do fresh transfer for my second cycle because of high progesterone. My KK doc recommended me do natural FET with letrozole to help me ovulate as she said medicated FET has more medicine and if I bfp, I’ll need to take medications until 12 week. Is this true?
I have been reading that natural FET is more stressful due to need to catch ovulation window. Hence I feel like calling KKIVF to ask to change to medicated cycle.
But on under hand, I’m unsure if it’s good to have so much medication. I am a Hep B carrier (monitored regularly by my liver specialist) so my worry is taxing my liver too much. After each fresh cycle, my liver values become high because of all the hormone injections and it takes a few months for the values to return to normal again. Before I embarked on my second fresh cycle my liver specialist gave his support as he said the liver situation is manageable.
Am I worrying too much about everything? My AF will come end of Aug so I still have time to decide.
I thought after ur embryo transfer for natural cycle also need support meds? Like crinone, duphaston, progynova till BT and continue for 12 weeks? Not too sure, maybe ladies who did natural FET can help
