wld like to ask if its possible to bfp after egg retrieval? after er, was feeling nauseous and tot thats due to GA. a hpt next day showed a faint line. isit due to all the jabs during stim stage?

However, I find that he is very experience.
Have you been taking supplements before you started your last 2 fresh cycles? How about your dh? Did Dr Loh say anything regarding your dh's soldiers?

Joyfully, thks for your explanation. Already called CARE for appointment next week. DH asked me today again when I am going to do FET. Men hen qi guai!!?? This time I can put 3 embryos. So happy
Hopefully can strike triplets. One go and close shop. Hehehehh.

I find him v experience too. And he's v assuring and confident abt his works. Such a nice and dedicated gynae.
And he's pro natural in terms of ttc or giving birth.
Frankly I felt that gynaes don't know what we don't know hence they don't talk much. As long when we asked them questions and they can explain till we understand that it's ok already.

Ling, before ER, there is a progesterone and LH test to see if you are pregnant or not and ovulating before proceeding to ER. and then there is a HCG jab to release the eggs.
HCG needs time to leave your body. HCG can cause false positive on hpt.
It's better to test on 11th day.

Dear sisters, I'm new here & also in Aug cycle. I did OR on 1st Aug at Mt E & waiting for ET now. Retrieved 7, 6 were matured & 4 were fertilised yesterday. Was informed today that 2 embryos were average & the other 2 were of poor quality. Praying that e 2 average ones will grow well till my ET

hi luvnhope, i did my first cycle in 2009 which resulted in a bfn. luckily, i bfp naturally 3 months later, a day b4 i was scheduled to start my second cycle. hv been ttcing for no 2 for past 1.5 years but hvnt been successful. so started another ivf quest.

Hi gals... I'm going to start my 2nd IVF fresh cycle in Mid Aug... Now getting nervous and stress... though I know these are normal, still my heart beats jump very fast whenever I think about going through all these the 2nd time... We're really great, to go through all these just to have our babies
I just started plotting my basal body temp, and was really dishearted to know that my temp is really low. Before O will be 35.7-35.8, and after O will be 36.1-36.2. I start to think that no wonder my 1st cycle failed... How can I expect my embryo to live and grow in Igloo(eskimos' house)?
Any ladies here have low temp like me, n still manage to get BFP?
I take TCM everyday, n doing acupuncture twice a week since last month, taking HongZao Tea almost daily, red bean soup once a week... All these are advised by Dr Zou, as my menses last only 2-3 days (she say too short). And if these still dun help in my body temp, I dun know what else I can do.
Oh.. forget to mention that I'm with Dr Matthew Lau in KKH.

In addition to what you are doing, u can also try drinking only hot and warm drinks, and wear socks to sleep and slippers when you walk around in your house (don't let your feet touch the cold marble floor etc). I didnt even drink room temp water at all, but only drank very warm / hot water. It was v difficult to do so as I had always drank ice cold drinks from young, but it really helped to increase my body temp after a month or two. Jiayou!

Dream, I transferred 2 as that's all I have.
Despite high dosage of Puregon n Menopur, egg yield wasn't good.

Wah Winnipooh, u hv so many embryos?!?! Well Ling, I was on Gonal F, 187.5 for 9 days & only harvested 7 follicles. Was abit disappointed but I keep telling myself I only need ONE good embryo to begin with. I was told as at this morning, on Day 3, 1 embryo has developed to 8 cells & e other is 5 cells. So will still wait to see their growth tmr. Most likely I will implant on Day 5, ie coming Tue, 7 Aug. I'm still thinking to implant both of them or only one cos was told since I've decided on one, it is better also as quantity does not equal to quality.... Still praying hard now. Any sisters out there doing ET same date as me?!?!
Hi dreambear, sorry to interrupt ur conversation here. Just wanted to share that the docs can only transfer our embryos (not implant them
). Whether the embryos implant or not is up to Mother Nature and, to those with religion, to the one above. Subtle difference, but an important one nonetheless esp when speaking to the docs and understanding what they mean.
