mabel - do you experience any symptoms (e.g. brown spotting) before you BFP? supposed to do my BT this sat, but kena brownspotting yesterday. so getting worried that AF rearing its ugly head.

i read tt it may be better but also higer risk of embroy die due to unable to get used to culture ebvironment...
anyone strike with a day 3 ET...
I am not very responsive to fertility drugs.... so scared i will not hv good eggs.... any food to take to improve results b4 OR???
anxiously waiting for my IVF.... gg tmr to repeat blood test as the blood test done previouly are not valid anymore....

Silsilly - I am so gald to join you ladies...now cross fingers, toes and limps for another 2weeks. As NUH does not do blood test throughout these two weeks, should I buy some hpt kits to monitor myself? Need to stay optimistic ok? Yay!

why did the doc decide to let you do a day 5 transfer.... i so worry tt there will be no follicles or many small follicles after stumilation den hv to cancel the cycle.... arggg....

Whitetiger - These two weeks I had no brown spotting. I guess I am one who is never prone to spotting, not even any implantation bleeding. When I had my first child through iui 5 years back I had zero spotting throughout. For my first round of IVF I din get brown stains until one day before BT but that din work out becos the stains got heavier throughout the day. But everyone is different. Like some of the sisters here, they get brown stains but still BFP. So it also got me worried why I have no such signs at first and instead of feeling alot of CM like Silsilly before BT, my cervix is very dry throughout. That got me worreid too becos I usually get dry cervix before my AF. But I would like to suggest you alert your Doctor if it continues so that he may order early BT. I feel it is alright to call them for all our concerns since we pay for the services and this is such a crucial process for all of us. Ask as much as we need to. Stay positive ok?

Liyan- did my ET last sat. Into my 2ww now. Retrieved 7 but day by day lost some till only left 2. I think the decision to do day 3 or day5 depends on how they grow and ileft it to the professionalism of dr and the embryoists to make the best decision. Dr did tell me that the downside of delaying the transfer is that some may not survive by then but upside is that the chance is higher.and that matters, since now by law can only transfer 2 if below 37 . Don't worry abt the follicle. Just rem to take more EW during stimulation stage or immunocal. The rest, I realized cannot be controlled. Nevertheless, I still worry a lot throughout this process.

I don't have specials tips as hubby and I decided to go for 2nd round quite abruptly after considering adoption late last year. So our TCM plan was cancelled. We decided that if it is meant to be it will be.

I cut off all coffee and tea and cold drinks. Strictly Milo and water. ate healthily, continue with my multivites which I started cince last year and folic acid. Quit my job to stay focus and stressfree.

During the whole process, I remained positive and did alot of handicrafts from home but of course still canno help but read about symptoms and all.

In terms of symptoms - mild cramps here and then, very bloated tummy throughout due to pregnyl jabs so sleep has been quite disturbed.

Lotsa baby dust to you too and stay positive

Congrats Mabel, u really inspire me. U also given me more +ve attitude towards my 2nd Fresh in June. I'm also under Nuh, but under Prof Wong.

Liyan, Lot ppl start during stimulation stage. However, I choose to start now although I will only start my cycle in aug. The reason I choose to start early is becoz I read that our body need abt 90 days to forms all the cells. So I choose to start early as I got mc previously n hope to do more for this cycle.
 
Hiya all, just to ask, anybody having headaches during 2ww? I just did et today. Am on crinone inserts. Head feels heavy. First time getting headaches.

Re 2/3 embies transfer, the kkh nurse told me in june they will start the protocol. And those below 37 will tt 2 only. For 3 transfers, will be those aft 37 yrs old and have a failed cycle previously.

I read that, apart from the stimulation protocol, the fertilisation process the skill of the Dr who places the embryo during the transfer is crucial too. Fi-Hozali ru under medicated fet or normal fet? I had few side effects from the pills that I pop. Im having migraine and nausea. Today I lost apetite. At night difficult to sleep.
 
First of all, million congrats to Mabel.. Ur one & oni egg is reali a tough warrior.. Do take very good care & wishing u a smooth 9 months ahead...
 
Summer/ Ceraine - I retrieved 6 eggs. Maybe thats y i am only on pregnyl. Having my HPT tomorrow, so if support is not enough I guess doc will prescribe some more?

Adeline - Which Dr are u with? Our support seems different hor :p

SilSilly - Yes, I luv crab to bits. I literally crave for it once every fortnight. Black pepper, salted egg and chilli... hehe... now i can only think of it :p

During this 2ww, anything that I am supposed to eat? I am still eating EW and drinking longan/ red dates/ wolfberries drink. I drink 1.5 litres of the longan drink per day. Then chicken essence every alternate day... If it enough? Of course not forgetting Folic Acid...

One more day down to my BT, am really excited with all the BBdust in here ....
 
hi ladies.. today just did my ET, so today consider day 1?
i am feeling very crampy, all the way to my back.. actually i already have the cramp after ER, but 4 days have past.. i am still feeling the cramp and bloat.. now i am having fever, 38.2.. is this normal? anyone experience these>

Thank you for the well wishes & faith in me.. & apologies for making some of u worried for me.. 
I'm sorry for ruining the happie atmosphere of Mabel's BFP news.. But I hv lost the battle...

Nothg was concluded @ the 24hr clinic last nite, as I sort of expected.. Aft reaching home, the flow juz went redder & heavier.. Called KKH todae & was told to stil go for BT todae. The flow is red and full heavy flow, so wat can I expect out of the BT results..

I hv not posted earlier as I was either zz or crying my eyes out.. In my TTC route, I was always given lots of false hopes, which made me fall even worst.. With no found reasons for infertility, I started tis 1st ivf in fear.. Crossed each hurdle smoothly, tt even Dr Zou was delighted with my progress.. Responded well to stim jabs, retrieved a decent number of eggs, transferred 2 grade 5 embbies, took long leave for tis ivf, did most of the thgs tt sisters here suggested, rested well, stayed positive thru out.. Oni to hv brown spotting as early as 9dpt & full menses flow on nite of 10dpt, 5 days bef BT..

I juz wish to say tt, so long as we hv done our best, the rest is beyond our control.. We dont need to worry so much, as the rest lies in the hands of Heaven who has everythg planned for us..

To all sisters who hv given me frendship, babydusts, superb advices, guidance, support, encouragement, well-wishes, keeping me in prayers, I sincerely thank u for tt.. It is truly a
blessing to hv all of u & tis forum, whn I hv nobody to turn to.. & I m thankful for tis blessing bestowed to me.. None of my close frens need to go thru ivf & they weren't even by my side during tis part of my life...

To my cycle buddies who r having BT on tis fri (Summer, Ceraine, Koirc) & 30th (Qingwei) & not forgetting Babybun,
I sincerely wish tt u gals ll BFP BFP BFP & carry ur bundles of joy in ur arms 9 mths later.. 

To the rest of sisters in 2ww (Bingo, Whitetiger etc), & thse who r cycling soon (Kimmy, Ron, Sarah etc),
All the best for the journey ahead & wishing BFP for all of u..

As I m stil feeling the pain of tis failed cycle & losing most of my fighting spirit, I need some time to plan my next path, & then I shall continue my quest to b a mummy, either naturally, else shall b back here in tis one big family.. Meanwhile, I may juz b a silent reader or not logged in here, to give myself a break.. Million thanks once again for the great company & frendship.. 
& remember, ALL of US here deserves every respect & treatment as a QUEEN.. @ least fr our very own self... Jiayou!!

I stil hv frozen embryos.. Can someone please advise wat is my next possible course of action? Things I should look out for? Thanks again for the advices...

Queenie, a very big hugs to u. This journey is tough but I believe v all will success one day. I dunno wat to say or gv console but I truly understand ur feeling. Try talk to ur dh as at this time he is the only person can share ur unhappiness. Rest awhile before plan for next journey. Hugs...
 


Queenie, u will hv to make appt to see dr. After that dr will tell u when to start mostly dr will say can try in the cycle after next. Dr will also decide for u whether is medicated or natural fet. Hope I did answer to ur question.
