Hi All, I have finally started my journey on IVF, Yesterday was my 1st day of Menogon. Will be going back on Tues to scan to see how much the folicles grew.........

could you please share with me how much and how many days were you on puregon? how long were you on lucrin? thank you so much... btw, congrats for the many numbers of eggs you have...

I went to see Dr Xia Rong for my endometrisis. It was better after taking her medicine. She will only come to Sg on every 2nd week of the mth. U need to make appt with Yu Ren Sheng clinic at Paragon.

Wow...27eggs and 17 fertilise eggs that alot. So envy. I only got 4 fertilise eggs.
So glad to hear that u feeling better. I do not hv the experience in vomiting but then to puke and fart

due to the bloatedness.
Only taking H20 wont help much. Try taking eggs whites and fish.
I have decided to sign the consent form after all to hv the jab done on the bum yestd. It was less painful. Did ask nurse abt the risk, she reasure me that they are also trained so not to worry.
My discharge was on the 3rd and 4th day with abit of brownies stain. After the 5th day, more white discharge. Asked nurse yest'd, she say that is due to the lining is thickening.
I'm still experience some cramp like AF coming, so worried.

It all depend on the hosp. As pretyy lady and myself, we are from KK so was on Lucrin for at least 3 wks. Puregon will depend on your own body and amount of puregon given. I was on puregon for 9days before going for pregnyl.

How long was it tested?
If more than 6mth, have it tested again.
My hubby tested his last yr, result was 90% good but when Dr wanted him to hv another test the result was only 50% good. U get what i meant? The result will be different if the last test is too far. So just in case, just have it tested no harm.

Which hosp r u in? KK??
Due to the crowd, we are asked to take lucrin for more than 2wks. If your result for the 2wk is normal, you should check with them y need to wait so long.

how many days of HL were given to you? when does it start? from ER or ET onwards? what was stated on your HL chit? did you inform your company about your actual reason for HL? i was told by KKIVF that they are obligated to inform company if company writes in to query... i am not comfortable to inform my company...
 
Hi I am new in this thread... Last mth met dr SF Loh with regards of my Endo & infertility. Went thru scans & blood test...this mth was reffered to KKIVF and awaiting for my period to start on lucrin jab. My period shd start end of this week or early next week.I am excited plis worried if tis does not work. Currently i hv 2 healthy boys 9 & 7 both natural conceive & birth. But both me & hubby luv kids and want more kids... hope it works
 
BlesswBB, Yes I started yesterday.. On Menogon jabs for about 14days than will have ER & ET. Going for a scan on Tue to check on the growth of the foliclies..... Hope this works out man.. Hope to all!

I transfered 2 embbies.. it's really trying these few days for me.. I still have the brown stain. Last night, i had painful cramp that lasted about 15 mins.. so worried sick.. My dr called this morning and he asked me to wait another day before blood test since there is no blood..

Anyone experienced the brown stains like me?

i too had noticed white discharge in past couple of days. since u'd asked it's lining thickening, m less anxious about it now. btw how's your feeling of bloatedness?? surprisingly since woke up this morning, mine felt so much better, but m still faithfully taking in lots of liquids (plain water, ribena, soups, milo etc). sad to say for egg whites, i'd eaten an average 1 every other day. wonder if you developed cravings for any specific type of food/snack? the past 2 days, i kept craving for sour stuff.... aiyo... yet i restrainted as m afraid it'll give me water retention. last nite i even dreamt about it?!!

no worries... being put on lucrin for >3 weeks (in KKHIVF) seems to be a common protocol for many. i had mine for around a month, with the last week concurrently taking puregon. our HL were given starting from our ER date. KKH will issue up to max of 14 days, which includes sat/sun & public hols. for me, things at work are simpler, as my immmediate mgr is aware of my intention to embark this IVF program since early this yr, hence i only informed her 4 days before i went for HL. for others in office, i'd informed my backup to tell them (if necessary) m on HL leave because of undergoing women surgery.

keep yourself positive while on the jabs. at times, there maybe some discomforts like bloatedness but try not to let it affect your moods. gd luck to your coming scan.

I guess you have an understanding manager... as for mine, well, i got to find a way to explain to him... but i like the explanation of undergoing women's operation to help to conceive... KKH counselor told me ER is an operation, too, by right... btw, how long will be you on progestrone jab? will your B-HCG test coincide with the last day of your HL? i just wonder how does it work... please advise me...

I've the brown stain 2 days before my bloodtest result and the next day before bloodtest I've fresh blood, meaning AF started...
As for ur case, u don't thk too much jus wait for the bloodtest result since there's no blood stain....

hoesntly m really grateful for having such understanding mgr. anyway, m on progestrone jab for 15 days. is B-HCG test same as pregnancy test?? my official last day of HL is 5/19. but as the following week is the most critical before taking the preganancy test (on 5/23) confirming it, i decided to proceed taking my personal leave for the week to rest or work from home (if needed).
guess all these planning are really up to oneself to decide what's the best course of actions to take with regards to one's aim to have baby.

went to see Dr Tan on Tues,he also say my hormone test results is normal.However he say my linning not very gd that why he is afraid my embbies will not stick to it.So worry.

You can get protein bar from GNC. of course you can take egg white, only afraid that you may get tired of it after taking for few days.

I guess the test is pretty old and looking at HB is very stressed with his job, chances are the count will be lower.
I will get him to do the test again then.

I was given 14days HL but i request to extend til my bloodtest date which total 20days of HL.
What reason i gave to my company is due to women problem. Hv endometrisis case b4 so easier for me to give reason. Just tell them going for ops to get rid of the cyst.

I also experience urge of taking sour stuff but that is due to the progestrone jab that cause bitterness taste. U so cute can dream of it

Btw, how come don ask KK to give extra HL then don need to take own leave.

Dear all,
can I ask? I am with TMC, on Marvelon(Birth Control Pill) now. What injections am I facing next? I saw others using lucrin and puregon and progestrone. I don't think I am on lucrin, but what about puregon and progestrone? I was told by the nurse in TFC that I need to call them when my AF arrive this month. After that, what injection am I expecting? Thanks.

after AF arrive we need to wait 21 days. we call our ivf center to let them know so they can do the tracking also. on day 21, we will have to start lucrin jab. that's what i was told. lucrin jab will continue between 2 - 4 weeks. this is to think our uterine lining. hope that helps..

If u are doing fresh ivf, after yr Marvelon , u will go for Gonal F injection ..

As for Lucrin jab is used for FET..

Progestrone jab - for support of baby during pregancy..

Hi Ladies,

Anyone knows where to do Semen analysis test besides TMC (they are fully booked for the dates i want) without doc's consultation . I called up nuh and they needed doc's appt before conducting the test. I was hoping not to do it in GlenE (where my gynae is) as the place is crowded on saturdays.
