ya that stall was there yesterday. but they moved further up and the size is half of last week's so i think maybe last sunday was their last day, then they close for a few days and on thurs moved to the location further up.

the HK shoes at tampines sale mostly casual ones, ie. sandals, slippers and those adidas-style sports shoes. to me, the designs are very nice. i plan to go down later ard 5pm+ to see what other designs i can buy. hopefully not sold out lah.

how old is your ds? for me hor, weekends i don't really like to go to town, cause very crowded. if bringing my dd out, we try to go somewhere she enjoys. one of her FAVE places is the airport, cause not crowded, very spacious and got LOTS of room for her to walk and run. and we don't have to constantly keep an eye on her or keep telling her not to touch this & that. so it's quite relaxing for us. got alot of places to eat also.

if we need to go shopping on the weekends, then we stick to parkway, vivo city or maybe marina square/suntec, where it's not too crowded.

we avoid tampines mall area on weekends cause the crowds are a nightmare! but later no choice we are going there for a short while cause i wanna see the HK shoes. but once i am done we are going to Expo, cause meeting Annie there at 8pm to pickup my kettle.

Saturdays very crowded...I have a phobia for crowds. Actually I've always preferred HK more than CK, but since don't have HK design, I just took the CK design. But looking at it, the design looks sweet with the pink 'crystal'.

I think Li Li and Purin can get a lots HK stuffs. BKK stuffs very cheap and nice.

today i went to tampines mall to buy 2 more pairs of the HK sandals for my dd. SOOO crowded, esp. the Hokkaido Fair area!

then we went to Expo to meet Annie, there also super crowded! dd was in such a grouchy mood, so we didn't even finish our dinner there, just ta-pao back home and ate at home.

aiyoh...the crowds today really spoilt my mood liao. i think next time i don't wanna go out on weekends, stay home better.

i don't ever remember s'pore being this crowded last time leh. even hubby was starting to get grouchy. then he said that eventually we may even have to consider migrating liao (altho he's always been opposed to the idea), cause s'pore really becoming an unlivable city. haiz...

Saturday crowds are ALWAYS scary. Really sian man. However, Sunday is slightly better.

Oh dear, we are going to see 7 million people soon. We have to get used to the idea of a crowded Singapore.

usually we will go out on sats, but the crowd has never been this bad. maybe because alot of sales are still going on right now, so everyone is out at shopping centres.

haiyah, i talk so much, i also got caught up in the sales frenzy! G2000 had sale for members - 50% storewide, so i bought 2 blouses for myself. then Fox Kids next door also having sale ($15 off every item), ended up buying 2 pairs of pants for dd. and then i popped into Bosinni next door, had 35% discount, so ended up buying 5pcs of shirts for hubby!

oh dear, i REALLY can't imagine s'pore having 7million ppl leh! if it gets really bad then hubby and i may really have to consider moving elsewhere. my sis is planning to move to melbourne permanently with her hubby in a few yrs' time. hubby and i also lived there for 3yrs when we were students, so he said if our dd wanna study overseas she can go melbourne to study. so i think if she really end up studying there, we might move there with her too.

ok, will take pics of the sandals and post it soon. they are actually very simple daily wear sandals. but my dd likes to wear these types of sandals, so it was a good buy for me, at $12.90 each.

Since that one Sat we were at Vivo, I told hubby we better stay home on Saturdays. Next weekend will be end of GSS...maybe that's why lots of sales.

It's ok lah, women always have many topics and get excited when they see good bargains. HaHaHa.
My mum's neighbour stayed in Melbourne for 7 years...pace & lifestyle not stressful except that tax is high if you earn high salary. Kids also very relaxed in school. Now they have relocated to S'pore bcos the hubby is in biz and paying high taxes and fed-up seeing Aussies living on the dole.

Take your time with the pics though. Actually the sandals quite ex at $12.90. I bought my daughter 2 pairs of HK shoes for going out and each was like $9.90.
