Australia has the same voltage as us, no need transformer, just need adaptor or can change the plug.

Just to agar the shipping cost, 20kg package cost abt A$42. But this have to be confirmed. Think we can all share shipping cost if its easier to calculate. Will confirm asap.

ladies,
transformer and adaptor are different.

adaptor is just a plug you use to put in the socket, because different countries may have different pins. for Australian appliances, you just need adaptor, no need transformer. adaptors are quite cheap, can get for less than $10.

transformers you will need to change the voltage of an appliance. you will need to use a transformer for US appliances.

just for your info. i have the sandwich maker and waffle maker with me right now. i just carried each of them (still in the boxes) and i estimate each weighs around 5kg leh, like the weight of 1 sack of rice.

yah the transformer so big and heavy! hubby said it's quite noisy too when you 1st turn it on. i have not tried it yet, cause planning to use the appliances only at my new place

yah, the 1000WATT transformer can use for aplliances up to 1000WATT lor.
