Hi everyone! Much appreciate if you can recommend me a good female gynae from KKH. Just recently got a positive test, looking to go through the private route at KKH. Help me out, i’m a first time mom, thanks in advance :)

Hello and congratulations on your pregnancy, such an exciting time! :) I'm a certified birth doula in Singapore. KKH in general tends to have stricter policies surrounding birth and birth choices. If you're planning to go ahead with KKH, then you might have to prepare yourself for that. Regarding female gynaes in KKH, most of them are really competent, but they might lean towards medical interventions. The popular female gynaes tend to be Dr. Suzanna Sulaiman, Dr. Liu Shuling, Dr. Serene Thain...

Most important thing to remember is that you have to feel absolutely comfortable, respected and safe with the gynae you go with.

All the best and congratulations again!

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Although Dr Regina isn't from KKH, I highly recommend her at GynaeMD Clementi. She’s my ob-gyn, and she's fantastic with first-time mums, providing clear advice and great care. If you're set on KKH, you can explore their female gynaecologists, but Dr Regina's expertise and approachable nature make her a great choice.

Hi, just gave birth at KKH and I highly recommend Dr Carmen Tong. She's young but her skills are really good and she's very attentive to mothers needs and questions. During the natural birth, our baby was delivered within 15min of her arrival. She also stitched up pretty well and 0 complications. When we went for appointments can also see that she's one of the more popular doctors there, more patient sits outside her room than any other doctors
