Rostrum
Hey hey, glad to hear you are well and well ahead with your plan for the year
Must take care of yourself, stay healthy and also pretty and happy yah
Yeah yeah, thanks for your advice, now I walk super gentlely and the deep breathing I used to learn under yoga really helps a lot in coping with stress, even my boss saw me walk faster a bit at times reminded me that baby is no1 on the list now. And given the green light not to travel at all for now..heeheee…yeah, you are right, all babies including us used to swim in our mummies' tummy, so we are born swimmers..heheee..but somehow we lost it and had to relearn into after being born. U still jogging on ok days right?
You had a 30mins session with Dr Loh!!..wah…that is like the consultation time for three separate patients..!! Looks like you have a very suitable doctor for you and Dr Loh is very eagar to help you given how busy he is. I heard that he even has to take care of patients who just need gynae delivery services at the private suite. That is like half the battle won
Good luck to you
Jia you k
My EDD is supposed to be in mid Dec but now brought forward to early Dec due to faster than expected growth and yes, it’s a little tigress..sama sama as my hubby.
Gan,
Time flies and very soon, in a matter of days, you would be crossing to golden 2nd trimester, your energy level will return and baby will grow big big!! And yes, your baby is a brave little warrier tiger/tigress too. If he or she can catch the tiger year. Otherwise, Rabbit also not bad. My friends always say, be rabbit very nice, just jump here and there, act cute and people will like already
Based on the amount of bleeding and clotting we had have, our babies had actually made do with a very small piece of placenta over that period of time. Its amazing at their will to survive. Its so simple yet such with such strength. Sometimes I wish to think like a baby again and not think as complex a da1ren2....heeee..My gynae said something along the same line and same as you, " just close our eyes and try our best". Now that you have survived this, I am sure you will be able to glid thru the future as a even stronger person. Yes, Dr Loh is right, our bodies are very smart, the clot can be absorbed and if he has not given you aspirin, try to take more fruits like cherries, blueberries and blackberries. This fruits help to thin and improve blood circulation and is very good to resolve blood clots. There are in the season too…ntuc always having discounts for them now.
Heehee..thanks for your congrats, having a baby girl has always been my deepest wish or I think it’s a matter or time I get sue for oogling at other people's cute girls yo..yes, now I really eat quite well, only the best for this period loh..
Elle,
Hi hi..glad to hear from you too
you must be very heavy by now. I bet little Elle is kicking you more often right? And your hubby must be so facinated right? Heheheee..time really really flies…looking forward to princess Elle's arrival on Earth
Now that you have said, maybe I can seriously start to think about buying stuff because I have not bought anything at all. So you must have already burnt a hole with all the cute stuff for little girls
..Its so tough to resist right? Don't say, sometimes I feel like buying some of the cute stuff like stationery for myself!
Wei, looks like our MILs have a lot in common. My MIL actually offered to help me do confinement very early into my pregnancy (during which I told her I have not thot about confinement yet) but a few weeks after that, she gave a a serious lecture that I should go and ask my mum for help, why I am afraid to ask my mum for help blah blah blah..I was like so shocked. Why she dragged my mum into the pic when she was the one who offered to help out of the blue. Very political, maybe she just wanted to test water so if my mum will offer. So same as you, I will not let MIL do confinement or will have a lot of lecture to listen to in future. Actually recently I am really quite fedup with my MIL's behavior concerning this so difficult to come pregnancy (she also openingly said she prefers boy!! Despite knowing I lost babies before.). But I try not to let her behavior made me so angry that I forget how grateful I am to life and forget the big scheme of things.
Like Rostrum said, I am sure you will be a very dutifully and doting mum when the time is due. No worries one..if you have not done any prenatal classes or think its too tiring to do so, just go to kinokuniya or borders and get this book call "Your baby and Child: new version for a new generation" by . It has pictures and words, can be used if your mum is busy and you need baby care info urgently.
Miraclebaby,
Many many thanks for your well wishes, I go stronger and stronger with these wishes..
Totally agree with you that its very hard to be zen, I have had good days and bad days but long as the general direction is a positive one of not giving up on ourselves and those people who love else, that’s enough. Its ok to have some days of déjà vu. Its just being human.
You should be in Hokkaido now! So so envious of you
I have never been to Hokkaido and this is the best season to be there. When you are back, tell us about it. I am sure those scent of lavender fields will make you so relax…those lavender fields I can only see in pictures..When you are relax, it is good news for your coming cycle
Or like Gan said, made in Japan! (as far as I know, all made in Japan are of very high quality one..heeee..
Fruitful(Faith),
Huggzzz to you and one thing I am very sure is that you hubby loves you very very much. The fact that he took one whole day off to accompany you means that he is very thankful to you for doing ivf for the family and that he also understands your sense of loss/pain after the cycle. Down the road when you hold your own baby, this bond you have build with your husband will serve you very well too. Yeah, you are absolutely right that everything has a timing and god will give you a (or a few) very healthy babies when you are best to receive them. When you are more ready physically subsequently emotionally, then think of next cycle or try naturally. Take your time, no hurry.
To detox, if you are not doing it already, its good to drink a cup (about 250ml, no more, no less) of luke warm water (if your blood pressure is normal, if its toward the high side, drink room temp water) first time you wake up in the morning. That is the best form and easiest form of dexotification for your whole body first thing in the morning. Some people like to add some lemon juice but if you got grastic problem, just plain water is fine. (In fact, I have read of a form of detoxification in a fertility book. That is, add some lemon juice to very very very hot water. The temperature of the water is such that you must blow in order to sip it. Drink throughout the day by keeping the water in a good quality hot water flush. Drink for seven days. The author said that very hot lemon water will help to dissolve any mucus or waste in the digestive system and flash it out. But it can be quite a chore to ensure that the water is kept very very hot) Next, try to increase intake of fruits like blueberries, blackberries, cherries as these fruits encourages better blood circulation that will help to detox. Next, eat more fiber, leafy vegetables are very important as they are the "brush" of our disgestive system. Next, eat some yogurt whenever possible, helps to flash out system of bad bacteria and increases immunity in the long term. Next, try doing mild forms of exercises like slow jogging, swimming, cycling and yoga to get the lymphatic system to work and that system helps to detox the whole body. Yes, go for yoga, which has miraclously helped me to destress. After doing yoga for about 3months, I find that I get less angry about everything and more at peace with the world. You will definitely feel the benefit too. The most beautiful thing is this peaceful feeling just creeped in after a few months without me realising it. Next, avoid eating biscuits as it’s the worst enemy if you want to detox. Biscuits cause waste to accumulate in the body and make them difficult to be flashed out.
Its normal for menses to be funny funny for about three months following ivf. That is why the gynaes often advise to do another cycle only three months later. So don't worry yah..its ok, just let it be for now and start to detox, try to focus on the holiday and without you knowing, flow is back to normal..If if you want, try out TCM like Rostrum suggested. Dr Zou has good medical ethnics, she will probably give you what you need if you really need it.
Thanks for your encourage Faith
Yes, at every stage of our lives, we all need encouragement somehow. My EDD is earlier Dec, has been changing so Dr did not give me a exact date, just told me to expect then..
Lyn

Moon,

So you have never had a 36 day long cycle? It the answer is yes, it means that your body could be reacting to blackmores (assuming that you are not very stressed over this period as stress can delay ovulation, also, you have not gain or lost weight more than 5% over the same period) as the minerals/vits in blackmores actually helps to alter our hormone to a more optimal level. At the same time, it can also cause cycle to change, if its not suitable, sometimes not for the better. Generally, I find that blackmores (or vitamins in general) are "heaty" in nature and will cause an already heaty person to get harder poo. For me, I am "liang" (poo quite soft, sorry but just want to describe well) before taking blackmores and after take it, it adjusts my body nature back to neutral so pooing became normal. So if your body is heaty by to begin with, you might find that eating blackmores enhances the heatiness and causes the change. When that happens, if you still want to continue blackmores (sometimes the body takes a while to adjust and it will go back to normal), drink one or two more cups of plain water or fruit juices everyday (milk and diary products do not count as water as it solidifies in our stomach) and eat at least five servings of fruits and vegetables a day. Water and fruits/vege will help to neutralise the heatiness of blackmores.
For your BKK trip, pack only dark-color bottoms and still enjoy yourself k, psycho yourself that AF will not dampen it
