Nicole,
Not being kpo but a good friend! Your friends are lucky to have you! I guess there must be lots of things to do before moving to Indonesia. Will you be in Jakarta? How often can you come back to Singapore? I am sure you will miss all the good food...remember to bring along cooking book! As you will be a tai tai, you will have time to enjoy cooking and baking!

I am sure it took you quite a while to read all the thread. Before I had my bb boy, I kept on reading (and re-reading the thread). I guess it helps me to better understand the process and gives me hope as well.
About your hubby, I think it will always take a longer time for your hubby to warm up. So, don't despair. It may take time but he may get there. Give him some time to think about it and may be try to figure out what makes him uncomfortable and then, find ways to explain him that these are not great issues after all.
Surrogacy mother has its issue as well. I don't think it is legal in Singapore so it would also be very difficult. You may want to check Today's Wall Street Journal. There's an article on India's surrogacy. I have not read it yet but saw the article there.
Good luck.
Blesswbb,
Thanks for advice. Will try to pacify him before making milk. It is still difficult for me to know whether his cries are for hunger or comfort (especially when he sucks his pacifier real hard). And in the middle of the night, I always assume it is hunger! He also seems to make a lot more noise at night when he sleeps than during the day. I wonder why. May be their sleep is deeper at night and they have more dreams/nightmares. Any idea?
This week, he started to make some noise. I guess he wants to communicate with us. So far, 2 distinguished sounds..the complaining one and the happy one! Very easy to recognise. I wonder why they can learn the "complaining" one so fast! I guess they replicate us and learn from us!
