Any one suffering endometriosis and fibroids and TTC?? Depress

Hi Yoyo, you may want to try this new technolohy ageLOC R2, i have many great testimonials from people about its anti aging effect. This is really one step ahead in supplementation and TCM...its still TCM, it has cordyceps, ginseng, promegranate, broccoli and red orange.I think you shld try, because it even helps menopause women with their hormonal changes and help them stay young!

yes, I agree with Starry coz I also hv great testimonials too and some are people who managed to conceive after taking it.

Hi,

Just to share my story, I'm also a sufferer of endometrosis. I've a 3 cysts. 2 of them are abt the size of a fist near my right and left ovary. Did a laparoscopy to remove all the cysts in 2003. According to gyane, with endometrosis my chance on conceiving will drop. The irony is pregnancy will help to prevent the cyst from coming back too quickly as well.

Naturally in 2006, I managed to conceive my 1st born. Did think any special medication nor diet. During my pregnancy, my gynae informed me that I've a small cyst abt 2 cm, which he monitored. Strangely, during the pregnancy, the cyst shrunk and disappeared naturally too.

I now have 3 beautiful kids and hopefully, my endo don't come back too soon.

Stay positive and you will have a greater chance. Of cos' follow-up with your gynae too.

hi windyleaf,

i think yoga is the best exercise. Non vigorous and yet help in blood circulation.

Hi Pony,

Your story is really encouraging! Thank for sharing with us.
During the 3 years of TTC, did you do any TCM? I am 34 this yr..so abit stressful. I dont know whether i have the patience to continue trying. So pregnancy is much easier after your first kid?
I am seeing TCM to tiao my body. Every cycle..hoping miracle will happen!

Hiya! Just to share, when I discovered I had fibroids in about 2008, they were about 1cm-2cm. There were about 3 fibroids. I didn't remove them and while I had my first kid in 2009, one of them grew to about 8cm. My doc didn't wanna remove them during my c-sect as she too thought it was too risky to do so.

Last yr, I decided to remove them as I wanted a 'clean body' before I get preg again. Of cos doc did warned me that if scarring occurs after surgery, I might not be able to conceive easily. And no one will know if there will be scarring. I was very sad then cos I really wanted a second kid. My doc encouraged me to try after 6 mths, which I did (cos I am getting old!) and I am now with my second kid.

I know I am really fortunate and I understand the stress that you girls go through. But just want you to know that keep trying and there will always be miracles!

Good luck!!

Oh and rem to eat more veg (esp broccoli, cauliflowers) and less meat. If possible, try to avoid eating chicken as the chicken we eat might be injected with hormones. Try switching to fish instead. Avoid fatty n fried food. Do exercise more!

I think whether you need to operate on fibroids depends on the location and size bah...

I have a fibroid about 4 cm, not small. I'm doing IVF and kept asking my fertility specialist whether need to remove, he said no need. Because it is not in the wrong place. And also it is not so big until it is distorting the whole uterus.

I saw a taiwan tv talk show that this female artist she had 6 fibroids and managed to gave birth to a healthy baby boy. The fibroids positioned around the baby - kind of "cusion" him throughout the 9 months...amazing! To play safe, it's best to ask doctor to check the positioning of the fibroid first.

Hi ladies, its a real inspiration to hear all your stories. Dont give up, today there's also a technology that can help with fibroid, cyst, pregnancy and menopause. Science has advanced and you dont even have to go through surgery. If you are keen to know more about ageLOC R2, pls PM me, Ive seen and hear many successful stories and everyone here shldnt miss!

Yup! Starry is rite. Check with doc on positioning. My bb was laying on the biggest fibroid. Just nice, got pillow for her. Hehe. While it didn't prevented me from conceiving, I wasn't able to have natural delivery cos the fibroid was blocking d birth canal. So had to go for c sect. But that's a smal problem.

Do check with doc!

Hi everyone I am new to this thread. I have been trying for more than 2 years. Had endometriosis and 2 ovarian cysts so did the op last April 2011, then took 6 months Lucrin injection to clear everything out, after which I got yeast infections, and not ovulating at all. Nonetheless by some miracle I conceived in Dec 2011, but miscarriage in March 2012. After abortion op, doctor encouraged us to try again, but have been having recurrent yeast infections so have not been able to have intercourse since April till now. Recently been having 12-day long menses with huge blood clots about 2-3 inches in size. It's so scary, toilet looks like a crime scene. I went to KK and they put me on hormone treatment, but it didn't seem to solve anything, next menses same problem, bedridden for one whole week cannot work. Do you think the endo etc is back? And how do you think I can ever TTC again with all these issues? Can anyone recommend some good gynae that I can go to? I've seen 6 gynaes at KK and nobody can solve my yeast infection issues, nor my ovulation problems, nor my menses problems etc. Nobody has any answers and I always leave the consultation crying out of frustration. I would really appreciate if you had some really good, caring gynaes to recommend! Thank you!

Hi krazimitzi,

i m seeing a gynae whom is also a oncologist. This gynae specialises on cyst matter which may grow to be cancer pro. i have endometriosis and he has helped me to control it every month with some pills that i have taken to suppress the continue growth and the reduction of menstrual. These pills are taken only during onset of menses. He can help on this matter specifically.

Should you decide on fertility treatment seek another specialist. he doesnt offer.

if you would like to focus on your infection i recommend him (Dr Tay Eng Hseon @ Novena medical centre . do a search on him see if you comfortable,

Hi all,

I suffered from endometriosis and have trouble conceiving. Recently found that both my tubes are blocked. maybe due to endo or scar tissue from my previous laparoscopy surgery.
So devastated when I heard that both my tubes are blocked. There goes my chance to conceive naturally.

Does anyone knows of any natural superfood or remedies to unblock tubes? Acupuncture or TCM? preferably TCM who can speak english.

Hope to hear from someone soon..

hi everyone,

a random gynae I met last week because I was in so much pain even after the period is over, told me after scanning that I have 2 fibroids. one measuring 5cm and the other 3.5cm. He said I will need 6mths to recover fully and if I do conceive in the future, I can only deliver thru c-sect. Is that true? The gynae is vincent lee btw and his clinic is at bishan 8 clinic for women.

I am seeking a 2nd opinion. And am contemplating between these 2 doctors. Dr Umesh Doshi and also Dr Ann Tan. Both very much highly recommended. Anyone has experiences with these gynaes before? Pls share...

Thank you!

Hi Pinky,

My father in law passes down a TCM recipe for women's block tube problem. My sis in law tried and sucessful conceive without expensive treatment. Pls pm me if u interested to know. I only hav a copy written in Chinese, can't upload here.

junjunjun I used to b wif Umesh Doshi during my ferst n second pregnancy. A good doctor. Very caring doctor to me. Giv lots of advises. His charges quite reasonable to.

Hi, I'm 29, new to this forum. I had my first severe menstrual cramp week before this CNY. Went for ultrasound & ct scan. Gynae specialist at Mount E found a small fluid cyst at my right ovary, and suspect I have endo from bulky uterus seem from the scan films. She suggested me to do laparoscopy to confirm the endo & remove the cyst.

Read from above some mentioned TCM to strengthen body. I'd like to try that as I'm weak & cold now. Any recommendation?

For laparoscopy & endo doctor, any recommendation for a good one? I've also researched that radical excision is good to remove endo. Any info to share?

I'm kinda worry for my next menstrual, that it will be that painful again. In these two weeks, I wanna strengthen my body and prepare for laparoscopy to confirm the endo. Then only start my battle against it.

Appreciate your sincere advice on endo & lap. God bless all of us.

Denise..do you all along have painful menses or just that last one? Did you ask doc if it's possible to have endo suddenly like that?

I never have such painful menses. Normally it is just mild one happen on first two days of menses. But last round the pain happen before the menses started and lasted for a week & more, together with pelvic pain. From the scanning result, doctor suspected it is endo & suggested for lap in order to 100% confirm.

Sigh..

Doctor can't give me a reason why would endo happen. She say there's no real cause, could be inherent. But none of my family has such history. I googled and found that, yes, there is really no real cause why would endo happen, it just happen, and mostly happen to women who had not pregnant or late pregnancy.

Hi Denise am in the same plight as you. I have endo adeno fibroid and cyst. Since am trying to conceive am
On Lupron 3 month jab rather than lap.

lupron will put you in menopause state, preventing ovulation. So meantime I think without AF, endo adeno cyst fibroids all will shrink. Then can try for pregnancy.

i have checked with few doctors and from scan they said I have endo. Think with 3D scan sure can see the endo. i went to Dr SF Loh at TMC and Dr Chen at Yishun for second opinions. Am seeing Dr MAthhew Lau at KKH for upcoming IVF.

U done ur 3D scan at TMC? How much is it? I thought my ct scan is already very detail, haha! But if 3D scan can confirm endo instead of doing laparoscopy, I don't mind trying that.

I hope I don't need to take lupron or hormon med to cure my endo.. Don't want the side effects...

Anyone try TCM for endo? I'd like to gather more opinion. =)

You can try 3 d scan at dr Chen in yishun Chong pang. Abt 105 with scan and consultation. For me am trying to conceive desperately. So am trying to avoid surgery. And docs also don't recommend surgery.

Hi Denise

not sure how much this information will help. But for endometriosis, having endometriosis itself does not mean that one definitely have to remove it--- it really depends on the problem. If the endometriosis does not hamper fertility (like just small cysts, or just pain), then one just needs to take medicines to either relief pain or take temporary measures like maybe visanne short term. only those very serious cases need to suppress and induce menopausal state.

continued..

have endometriosis does not mean definitely need laparoscopy- often, lap is performed because during ttc, your reproductive specialist find things like hydrosalpinx, large ovarian cysts, etc which may affect ttc/artificial reproductive methods. If not, not every one with endometrosis need laparoscopy.

I see. Thanks for this useful advice. I've been having the wrong perception that I must go for lap no matter what. My next menstrual gonna come.. Hope it's less painful...

Hi, i'm only 23 but have 3 endo cysts 3.9cm, 2.1cm and 1.6cm. Feeling very depressed about it and feel afraid at the thought of laproscopy do you all have any good TCM doctors to recommend me for endo cysts to become smaller or disappear? Thanks in advance!
