for car seat stroller, i used maxi cosi but only as a stroller on quinny zap. its very comfy for infants but i nv use in car. only for stroller or on floor to feed. its hot to sit in only when outdoors. other times, its design is perfect for infants.

anyone breastfeed ur baby until pregnant with the next baby? Ayuni 9 mths still breastfeeding. so wondering if will affect when trying to conceive. need to wean off or dont need?

You thinkin of #2 eh? My kid is 14 mths, but I'm not ready yet, and similar to you, I also wonder to wean off first. But I think I'll try to wean off , get him all independent first, then, try for no #2. Insya-Allah. Kita ni plan2 tapi never know what's in store for us...

thanks for sharing. the main concern abt breatfeeding during prenancy is coz of nutrition wise rite? i did wonder abt breadfeeding during pregancy coz i did ask my mum if can or not. my mum claim that the baby would reject the milk.

ur baby is 2007 cohort la.. ehhe. urs 14 mths reached 1 yr already so still ok. mine not even 1 now.
contemplating to have 2009/2010 baby - means either no.2 is after 1/2 yr gap. coz i wanna try for a Jan-Aug EDD. coz my first already Oct baby so i roughly figured its a 1yr cycle from conceive to end of maternity. hehe.. PLus my institution moving to new premises estimated to be in Jul 2009. tot of 'disappearing' during the shift. now exactly 1 yr to Jul 2009, seems a good time to try. i also tot of shifting myself before no.2!but with breastfeedin dunno if its easy as 1st time. i yet to get my period since delivery. I also tot of weaning off recently what u said. but quite attached to my baby la.. she waited up for me yesterday when i reach home late, My mum tried to give milk just before i reach home but she refused her bottle. so mostly reluctant to wean coz she looks forward to breastfeeding esp after I'm gone for a while.

alamak babe!! 17 or 18 eh...? hmmmm...i tengah tanya my hubby ni, agak agak kalau dia relakan i pergi, maybe 17 but my girl finish skool 2.30pm...unless my hubby baik sangat hari tu , he might let me go wif my boy jerr while he fetch my girl n spend quality time together...hehehehe....u all go ahead wif the plan while i see how lahh.....

breastfed babies memang cam tu lah - melekat dgn ibu satu macam. You betul2 kira specific eh? For me, I don't really mind, as long as there's at least a 2 yr gap between them. but if i can't take it at work, i might just consider having a second one just to go on maternity leave.
lucky for me my baby takes to formula quite well (i'm partially bf-ing now) but when I balik, sure dia nak BF sekejap - hilangkan rindu agaknya.

re being sticky: just to share one thing interesting I found, tho my aunt didnt complete breastfeed two of her kids they also super sticky. one of them rejected BM after some time. maybe coz she got pregnant. the next baby was allergic to BM so had to take special type milk. both kids really very sticky to her irregardless even not BF. one of em cannot even look or play with her when she young - only wants mum. so think other factors also come into play too.
just read that the "pregnant man" da give birth. this transgender thing confuse me la.. lagi he said its not by c-sect. then macam mane tu.. funny hor. then dia buang everthing but keep reproductive organ.. internal ones i suppose..ish.. macam macam org sekarang. takde keje carik keje

Yeah maybe it's just the bond with "Ibu" regardless of BF or not. Cuma I rasa budak kalau BF, melekat in the sense, ibu balik rumah ajer, nak ngempeng etc. My hubby say I'm a fridge and my baby is my magnet. And Adam is also my shadow. Kadang nak gi toilet pon tak aman.
But I do agree that other factors come to play to - mums tend to "kuasa" to spend time with kids, so naturally kids would prefer mums. But of course if there's an alternative caregiver who rapat sekali, the kid may also choose that caregiver.

Is there any mummies here who experienced fast labour? Mine lasted 1.5 jam in all and I am worried for my next one to be even faster. Harap harap sempat pergi hospital. I tak tahu if ambulance service kat singapore is reliable or not. If anyone can share experience, terimakasih in advance.

Before tu tak rasa apa apa suddenly rasa macam nak pergi toilet and lepas tu suddenly macam nak pengsan, sampaikan panggil ambulance. Medic kat ambulance tu cakap jangan push.. ooh susahnya.. nak tahan. Sampai aje kat ward bersalin bila bidan suruh push.. lega rasanya baby boy I pun arrive, hubby I sampai tak sempat sambut sebab tak boleh ikut kat ambulance. Tak sempat ape ape lagi. Yalah fast labour ni ada baik nya.. kalau sempat pergi hospital. Yang merisaunya kalau tak sempat tu.. "terpopped" kat mana mana aje.

For me I did some research on BF while pregnant. True, I do have my doubts during that time. The link that lipswix post will help you. For me I did also called up Breastfeeding Mothers’ Support Group (BMSG) 63393558 and ask them questions. And always get a doctor who knows/understands breastfeeding because some doctors are really clueless YES CLUELESS about breastfeeding.

the quinny zap bends at the middle, so fold it forward the handles to the front wheel, then the whole stroller will fold downwards to be quite compact. but its a bit heavy. smooth ride n very manvourable coz of the front wheel which swirvels. sometimes, we play with the stroller with ayuni inside. hahah.. now ayuni can sit upright on her own so i stopped using maxi cosy on the stroller. but on the zap, she needs a pillow behind coz she's quite small for zap.

I think our generation dah tak pandai lah. I cuma tahu sikit sikit - Wes mangen urung? Maknanye - Dah makan ke belum?

Contrary to what nad once said, I'm quite afraid of weaning my kid off although he's already 14mths. He's still on partial BF - and night time, he'll latch to sleep (bad bad habit!). Contrary to what nad once said, I'm quite afraid of weaning my kid off although he's already 14mths. He's still on partial BF - and night time, he'll latch to sleep (bad bad habit!). Wow, that's really fast- 1.5 hr. Me- 12 hrs still not dilated by more than 5cm -itu pun dah put in a lot of things to make it faster.
paris- I was there in 1997. I was on polytechnic attachement in Quimper - western France. So went down to Paris - though I'm not a "city" person, I like it , prob It's so long ago, a lot of things have changed now. But Paris at that time, still has its charmness that I can never forget. Champs-elysee, La tour Eiffel,the quaint cafes!!

Yes dia still ngempeng coz b4 get the 2nd son mayb he tak cukup BF...only gentel my breast puting till i had the bb gerl recently...baru dia stop....bila get the 2nd one he stop BF already.

I dah try the Belgian waffles with ice-cream at your hubby's stall on Saturday. It was yummy! Too bad we were in a hurry, tak sempat nak try the brownies. I ni memang chocoholic, so will try that next time.

Wow, your first kid masih ngempeng dgn you at nite? I tak boleh have kids next to me when I sleep. Macam rimas gitu. My 3 kids sleep in their own rooms ever since balik from hospital after they were born. But the first few weeks, I macam setengah matilah, pergi balik to the baby room every 1 to 2 hours to breastfeed. Our pediatrician so khairan abt this when she came to my place for Hari Raya last year, cos dia sendiri sleep on the bed with her 2 older kids while her hubby (who is my gyny at Mt A) sleeps on the mattress with the baby. My hubby commented: Dr. banyak duit pun kena tidur kat tilam seh!

yup now sch holiday but me wif Danial, my 1st son now kat opis although still on maternity leave need to prepare GST and submit b4 end July...bawak my son so tak yah nak stay lama2 dah habis boleh chao...

Mcm mane nak kali fast labour? Any tips or special technique tak? My dilation also very fast 1 jam dah fully dilate but the bby tak leh keluar push mcm nak rak pun taknak keluar
end up sampai 6hrs of pushing...boring sey, i mean no point in dilating so fast kalo taknak keluar pe... hopefully no3 will be shorter labour

Actually this is the first time I try Belgian waffles. Different from the normal American ones I selalu makan. I think Belgian waffle pakai yeast, yg American pakai baking powder. Different but nice jugak. I didn't go in by TP, although there's an entrance there. I went by CTE from YCK, keluar at Braddell. Turn right to Braddell Rd. The gate is immediately after the Muis building yg lagi rebuilt. (Actually I missed the gate the first time and had to make 2 big u-turns to go there.) Go through the gate, turn right and all the way in. Can't miss it, cos the queue for Botak Jones there is super-long. Too bad tak halal!
