Juz got my AF yesterday.
Today the flow seems quite heavy.
Morning cramps very bad, now better liao.
But I'm glad the blood is flowing out instead of flowing back, which caused my cyst.

Last nite, hb said he will be very busy at work from now on. So, I asked, then wat abt me. He said, juz stay at home and be ur tai tai lo. I said dun want. So boring.

sigh.... Especially no baby. And need to do hsework. haha.... If, no hsework, I dun mind wor. Think I'm a hsewife rather than tai tai. Tai tai got maid de. Ok, let's aim to be tai tai then.

But i dun feel any symptoms leh...no implantation bleeding oso. I hope the cramps I had last Thu &amp; Fri are due to implantation. Other than that, no more bloatedness, sore breasts or any slightest symptoms lor. Losing my mind ~

I'm new to this thread tho i've been reading up many threads related to this topic. I've TTC for 2yrs still no news..Struck in the 1st month with my boy 4 yrs back. Done all tests and now at a stage in considering SO-IUI. Wd like to ask since you've gone thru it....Wat's HCG injection? If i remember correctly, HSG was the check on the fallopian tubes, rite? (i've done and cleared it). What do you mean by bringing "washed" sperms to the lab? Lab will assess the sperms first?? Pls advise. tks!!
 
catmon, must get used to this type of treatment... must treat yourself as preggy now, imagine being queen for next 9 mths :p we have all been through this stage of losing mind....you must be feeling very anxious now

My AF reported today... now my cycle is more regular le, can agar predict O le, now we are contemplating start ttc again, but no opk and bbt monitoring... very soon will join you all in 2ww again

I'm not very sure of its full word. But hCG is supposed to assist in releasing the eggs (in matured follicles), ready for IUI.

Yah, the lab will "wash" the sperms &amp; pull out the strong lil commandos.

hey.. dun think so much about implantation bleeding. Not everybody will experience this. And also, some women find that they are preggy even without any symptons. Dun drive urself crazy k.. muz relax.. coz u've got more things to worry once u find out u are preggy

Phew! finally gotten back this thread. Almost lost it....I'm glad i found this support group. So did u jab yourself in the tummy or you go clinic to jab everday when u first embark on SO-IUI? My gynae showed me the pen like syringe that i'm supposed to administer for a couple of days and god!...the tot of jabbing myself sounds scary enough...can share your experience?

hi crafty_yard, my boy also delivered by him! he performed IUI for me and we striked on the 1st try. going to see him this fri for annual check up and shunbian discuss IUI in next cycle. hopefully we will just bring him +ve news on the appt day..
 
oh i c! hmm..once started IUI, means your next subsequent preg also must rely on IUI?? When was your last successful IUI with LC? BTW, is urs SO-IUI or just IUI?

i'm scared as well to jab myself so got DH to learn hw to jab &amp; he does it every morning for me. It was abit prickly the 1st 2 times. So later we numbed the area with ice &amp; then I didnt feel anyting at all. Bloatedness for the whole wk when I jabbed Puregon. But I was happy to see my follicles growing. Nurse will also tell you that you're not to fall sick that few days jabbing Puregon.

To me no pain jabbing the Puregon. Just the after-effect of hCG. Sensationally hot!
With med, consultations, scans, DH's sperm-washing...I think I spent abt $1.5K. I think per 100ui of the Puregon is $100.

lucky you got DH to learn...I even more scared if my Ah Lau jab me...he got butterfly fingers...scarcely he break the needle into me...HOW?!! oh no.. Am giving natural conception a final try b4 i embark on so-iui, probably in March or April. (still bu si xin!). Pray hard... So must you stay home and rest after the iui procedure??

mine was just IUI with hcg trigger to mature the egg one day before IUI performed. no medication involved. the one and only IUI brought us +ve on 8dpo onwards. my son is 14 months now

it is not necessary to rely on IUI for every subsequent preg. but we prefer to have him to monitor instead we do ourselves, more stressful. if you get what i mean. taking BBT, opk, obsess every symptoms...

ya ya...damn stress and getting paranoid with the slightest symptoms on possible ovulation days and during 2ww. My collection of BBT charts already accumulated enough to become a manual! Also gave up on opk as the gd ones are so ex per test and i always tested the wrong days! Maybe i shall ask LC again if i shd do just IUI or SO-IUI...my last consultation with him was that he jumped straight to SO-IUI for me...Din know the diff then...How much you paid for IUI?

not much symptoms, only hv face breakout with few pimples and mild cramp occasionaly. oh yah, and bloated too. symptoms are not strong so i am not too obsess over it. how many days you hv passed hCG trigger? hCG trigger will leave our body 1000iu per day. so assuming you took 10,000iu, it will take 10 days to completely clear. of cos if you see the lines get darker, it means you are preg. what symptoms you have? let's jiayou and stay hopeful!

SO-IUI and IUI are completely different. am sure he has the reason to put you on SO-IUI. i paid ard $500 for IUI. when are you start your procedure? am kancheong to test too but well, hv to stay optimistic.

well, I dun tink I hv much symptoms as well. I took my hCG on 22 jan.
The funny part is that I dont feel as bloated as I did last wk. Occasional cramps. And recently, I cant sleep @ nite. Backaches these few days. I don't usually have backaches though. But maybe it's just me being paranoid.
I had a fright last nite. I thot AF was reporting but it was just some slight whitish discharge.

you have a long LP izit? more than usual 14 days. i dun want AF comes back 9 mths later too. heheee.. i want her to MIA for at least 2 yrs. actually my AF just returned in last Sept, after i cutting down in bf my son. it takes 2-3 months to regulate and now i have longer cycle compare to previous. sometimes i feel regretted i should have ttc while still bf. totally no stress cos no AF, nothing to monitor.

IUI $500 onli??? Aiya! Then shd have taken IUI 2 yrs back! missed the boat! Maybe i wasn't responsive to oral medication, so LC suggested SO-IUI...hmmm....now got to spend more since "factory" getting older liao...I'll start on the treatment after March (cos planning a trip overseas)...so for this mth, give it a final try using pre-seed cum other tips given by other successful mummies to be....It's gonna be the FINAL try...i'm sick of thinking will strike, but still nothing feeling....

yup, only cost ard $500. cos no medication mah, only some scanning, hcg trigger, sperm washed &amp; the final procedure lor. i find it really stress-free for us. we were in his good hands. how old is your son? my son born in Dec07. your conceived naturally for #1?

my son 4yrs++ alreadi. He's Aug04 BB. Struck him within the 1st month try naturally..so nrv expected the 2nd one so difficult to come by. Actually plan to hv 3 kids, each 2yrs apart...sigh! (Ren suan bu ru tian suan!)

I havent start injections but got take one kind of medi from D2, will start injection on 17 Feb, the nurse will teach us how to jab. I think these jabs will be 10 days, then wait AF to come again, this process is to regulate AF. then when this AF finish liao will start with 2 jabs everyday,cannot remember for how long.

Ya...if i knew IUI was so affordable, i shd hv undergone...at least no need medication. My understanding from all the research here is that SO-iui needs medication, you need to jab yourself everday for a certain period, gynae will monitor growth of follicles/eggs, when time's ripe, he will inseminate sperms into your womb. IUI appears that there is no need to jab yourself everyday. Perhaps gynae just need to give u a jab prior to insemination. Both methods are still considered as assisted reproduction. At first, i had my reservations, coz tot that it's not "natural" conception. But after all the disappointments mths after mths, and reading all the posts here, i'm glad i've found some support from ladies having the same situation..i dun bother anymore abt natural or not...as long as i strike (like 4D!)...Jia you!!

Most prolly ur fren started out with a lower dosage. That's why cheaper. Coz @ the clinic I went to, per iu is $100.

IUI is just taking Clomid &amp; then inseminate the good sperms.

SO-IUI is jabbing ourselves with Puregon &amp; then inseminate the good sperms.

my IUI was no clomid involved too. totally no medication except one shot of hCG trigger the day before. that's it. fast &amp; simple &amp; efficient to me. not all patients require medication, let LC checks and advise, it is their profession.

Oh...my menses are not always accurate..so not sure if with IUI, it'll be accurate.

think any gynae shd be able to do iui for you. Unless there is certain law that says only fertility-gynae can do it. Just like only qualified dermatologist can do lasers in clinics.

your case sounds very straight-forward. Well, i tink i'm in good hands tho. Actually come to this stage, medication or no medication doesn't seem to make a diff, the most important is either method works! So as long as pass 14dpo, IUI will be successful?
