2017/02 Feb Mummies!

Hi! I was tested positive 2 days ago! My LMP was on 22nd May, so according to the polyclinic doc, my EDD is 28th Feb. This is my 1st baby and I'm going to see Dr Loke this weekend! So excited.

I was at polyclinic hoping to get a referral letter to go KKH Fertility clinics cause age quite old liao and still not pregnant. Doc did the routine pregnancy test and it was positive. So he say can save money and time going fertility clinic and go OB instead! So happy with this surprise!

Hi Mummies and congrats to all !

I just tested positive last friday. Will be seeing my gynae, Dr. John Yam this sat. Last LMP was 3 May so i est EDD should be 6/7 Feb. This is my 2nd pregnancy.

The nurse/officer didn't inform me about anything not taking for feb etc.

My EDD is also in feb.

Right now I am suffering from morning sickness! Have been vomitting everyday and it does not help that I feel so tired at work!

Congrats to all mummies to be! My LMP was 12 May & EDD shld be 16 Feb.bthis is my first pregnancy! anyone staying at Sengkang and planning to deliver at kkh??

Is it much cheaper to get a referrer letter to fertility clinic instead of private gynae ?

ohhh hmm. my lmp is 17 april but due date is 4 feb based on the new gynae I'm seeing now.. would prefer to go back to ben if i cld! maybe i can call and ask again!
 
So glad to see this group getting active! I was hoping to get added to the secret FB group but due to technical issues (FB email of fb group sent but not received etc), is still not part of the FB group yet. Will love to catch up with you all here.

Reneee: not staying in sengkang but hoping to deliver in kkh. Are you planning to go through the private route? If so, which dr will you likely be seeing?
 
Hello mummies, my edd is on 25 feb. Just had my first appt on mon.

Been a long ttc journey with gyne and tcm... as i got PCOS, so both told me that i will have difficulty conceiving naturally....

I've even made appt to see a fertility specialist this Aug... this little one came as a surprise and I'm really glad that he/she is finally here...

I'm seeing Dr Tho Chin Keong from Astra women specialist...

Definitely. Actually polyclinic referred specialists will be cheaper than any other doc referred specialists.


OMG how do u guys keep the news to yourselves for 3 mths? Or you guys not pantang and had told the whole world?
 
I'm staying Punggol and seeing Dr Caroline Khi at TMC.
This will be my 3rd baby already.

So we have to wait for loveholic to add us to the secret fb group?

I've made an appointment to see Dr Chan Kong Hon from Gleneagles. Anybody have any experiences to share about him. Am currently 6 weeks btw :)

Normally if dr tham cant take, they wont make appointment for the first visit ?
Or maybe my edd is beginning march? I am not sure..

hope you can get Dr tham again. he delivered my first too. :)

I'm counting down too! Hope can hear baby heart beat by then..I think it is going to be an amazing moment for us.. By early 7 weeks should be able to hear?

Is anyone going for the Oscar test? Only 90% accurate though

First time mum LMP 12May16, EDD 17Feb17. Been trying for 4yrs, this is indeed a miracle but there's so much to worry about.

Staying at punggol, with Dr. John Yam @ Gleneagles.

Had requested to join the FB Group (2017 SG Mummies Talk) as well, however is that for just 2017/02 mummies or for all 2017 mummies?

I may not going for Oscar and probably opt for harmony .

This is my first pregnancy, not quite sure what to do. I'm seeing my gynae tomorrow, so what can I expect from this visit?

I am not sure if will do ultrasound. but my first one, my gynae did.. to confirm number of sac.. and will advise how weeks u r in, and will advise by next visit should see the heart beat etc

you can ask questions.. and probably be given preg multi vitamins, fish oil etc..

Nurse will take your weight and blood pressure and ask you when is your LMP .Dr loke will do a scan and you will be able to hear heartbeat .Dr loke more quiet so you have to ask him then he will advise you .

Hi! Second time mummy here. #1 just turned 2.

EDD estimated to be 1 Feb. About 9 weeks preggy now. Am likely going to opt for c sec cos #1 was csec. Likely delivering around CNY period. :( Confinement lady hunting is going to be a pain.

Seeing gynae at TMC. Previous delivery was quite ok and happy with the nurses there. Only complain is the parking at tmc which is horrid.

Gynae recommending panaroma test in place of harmony or oscars. She says more detailed scan and able to test for more abnormalities etc. Price is triple the oscars. Still considering if I should go for that. Zzz but she says 97% accuracy.

Anyway... Congrats all mummies to be!

Welcome to our group .My gynae actuslly recommended Oscar ,I was rather surprised I would expected him recommending harmony .im likely to go for csect as well ,my #1 ended in emergency csect .

Had light brown discharge over the weekend and went to see the Gynae this morning. Was told it's a sign of threatened miscarriage as this came along with short intermittent pain at pelvic and lower back.
Gynae gave me Proluton jab and also Duphaston pills. Ordered bed rest for one week. Anyone in similar condition? Does bed rest really mean you should be lying on bed all the time and seat, stand or walk less?
 
I had spotting few days ago too was given jab as well as duphaston .Try not to walk too much ,well I still walk I have a active boy to take care and hubby not in town .Pls dun carry too heavy and don't drink too much cold drinks .

First time mum here, EDD is 17Feb ^^

Honestly, I am feeling very overwhelmed by the change. I have always been an active/logical person but over the last week I just feel so lazy/emotional. I am not used to it! o_O

Relax !!! Let ur active superwoman mode take a break . Ur feeling lazy because that's ur body's way of telling U've a bun in the oven and your Lo needs u to rest and save ur energy to nourish and help he/ she grow faster and stronger each and Everyday .
Relax n Get use to this feeling .. Enjoy ur wonderful journey ahead .
