Yup me too.! scary if bb fall off the changing table. Better play safe and change on my bed lol

Ya! If your bed is with frame or divan then still ok. But must watch your back. Don't do it yourself during confinement.

Mine on the ground so I usually change them crossed legged. But I can't do that during confinement too. The stitches felt like wanna tear. Lol!

Ya lo... Lucky the boy after go A&E after check no prob. After that incident, the HB so upset and throw the change table away.. If I rem is branded and only few months old.. So wasted..
My mil and mum all very old fashion, they don't like changing or letting bb sleep at high area.. They rather let them sleep on "ti lum", change on bed etc... Less hazardous.. Lol

Lucky boy! Such a bad fall!

That's true. Cot is also much safer with the bars all around. The changing unit has nothing next to it.

Yes, understand the pain from the stitches. Just went for a ovarian cystectomy at 13 weeks to remove a 9cm cyst. It simply renders my stomach muscles useless when sitting up and lying down.

I also agree that cot is so much safer for changing of diaper, Juz got to remember to rise up the bar after you are done. It's kinder to our back too. A lot of space at the side for those cream and lotions too.

Hello mummies, just finished my check up... I am expecting a baby girl. Btw which risk are we looking at for oscar?

The counselor went through with me the risk for Trisomy 21, Trisomy 18, Trisomy 13.

The risk is determined via a few factors like Nuchal Translucency and maternal serum i.e. frre beta-hcg, PAPP-A

Huh, u mean u went for an op when u r pregnant?

Yup, the cyst was discovered when I went for Oscar.

The doc advised me to go for surgery cos its too huge. If it burst at a later stage of pregnancy, it will be very complicated to deal with cos baby will be too big.

After surgery, he say I can only take normal panadol for pain management. Other drugs will be too risky.

They scanned for the baby's heart beat twice a day to make sure everything is ok. But it hurts big time, cos they have to press really hard at the wound area to find the heart beat.

How to change baby diaper on cot? we have to bend down all the time until backache. I think changing on parents bed is much easier. If worry that the poo will stain the bed, then place changing mat on the bed.

Anyone made it through pregnancy without buying maternity wear?

Was thinking of depending on things like belly belt and belly band to survive with existing clothes.

ahhh I've got a silly question...but just to confirm :X

When we buy the baby cot, it only comes with the wooden frame right? Then we have to purchase the mattress for the bottom? Will it be difficult to buy them since baby cots comes in different sizes?

Most cots come with three levels. We start with the newborn level which looks like this. Then gradually lower the cot when baby is bigger. When we lower the rails, we have direct access to baby. This is my boy at 2 months old. Still a safe height to change him. Not sure if you can tell the height of cot from the picture.

So chubby
Actually no need to scare until they can flip and lift their head that is when they get curious and attempt to reach other

Good one .. Mine belong to those 20 hrs sleep or longer. You only scare when you are in late stage Cos over active scare they will " play" with their umbilical cord around neck

Yes yes! Like this. At 4 months old. Flipped and grabbed and messed everything he saw! I lowered it the following month. Lol
That is why I said only start to scare of that height when they can flip Lolz
It is no diff for cot or playpen with those sections Lolz

Possible! I did not buy any for my #1. I wore leggings and baggy, tunic tops until i popped. The belly belt didn't work for me though. Kind of troublesome to go toilet imo.
