mel, i also have slight cramps at the lower side of the adominal...i read over the internet and the results are very negative. Going to see gynae on Fri, hopefully can see the egg and know that all is fine...

lilacz, my cramps are more like menses cramp.. not at the side only.. What the results in the internet says?
i read over the internet, it says its normal as long as no bleeding..
 
Jaec, maybe u can observe first. Visit the gyane when u r very uncomfortable or bothered by it. it is always good to hear from gynae.

Hi all,I am a may mtb too.. Itz my first pregnancy and I am both excited and worried at the same time. i am having very bad morning sickness (nausea) ever since i was admitted to kkh for excessive vomiting last week. Initially i thought it was due to gastric because i had acid reflux tt day but after i saw the doc, she said it was due to my pregnancy.. i hope this nausea feeling doesn't last long as it affects my appetite.
Anyway, i had a scan last week at kkh, can't see the baby yet but there was the yolk sac and amniotic bag, can't wait for my next scan to see the baby but the thing now is I haven't decided on a gynae yet. i want a female gynae who pro natural birth. Any recommendations?

Hi all May mtbs!

I just found out I'm pregnant yesterday using CB kit. I couldn't believe my eyes when I see the +ve sign!

Anyone have any gynea to recommend? I've shortlisted Dr Henry Cheng from Bishan and Dr John Yam from Gleneagles. Both are recommendations from friends.

This is my first pregnancy so I'm really excited and feel so ignorant about everything...

Btw, usually pregnant will increase body temperature..but i feel that my feet n hands are cold most of the time, really very different with the #1 pregnancy.
Any mummies here encounter the same as me?
Im quite energetic..in fact these few days i woke up at around 4am-5am to pass urine, after that, i was not able to sleep again but i don't feel sleepy in office at all.
no morning sickness at all.. sometimes feel hungry before 12pm.
hand and feet always cold..
I hate to see gynae now as they will use something to poke in and check the embryo at this stage :(
 
And one more thing to add... in addition to folic acid, please also take dha as it will reduce chances of autism in children.
 
Sorry for being so long-winded.. if judging from last period, I'm 5 weeks and 4 days. But I'm already having this giant tummy from indigestion and gas... anyone also feeling this? My panties and safety shorts all feel so tight now...
 
hi mummies.. i am from may 13 mummy.. just to share something over here. hoping that it can benefit you all. Congrats on your bfp and bundle of joy!! and i suppose many would like to bf your precious ones. ;) just to share my story abt bfing and how i gt my supply literally boost up. I gave birth on apr 28 2013. my baby girl doesnt like to latch and she is quite an impatience person. so not being able to supply her with initial colostrum /milk, i gt really very gan chiong and upset, fearing that my supply wont be able to meet her daily needs. On third day after i discharge from hospital, my combined milk was only 20 ml. that was really pathetic.. so one of my forum mummy intro me super chlorophyll powder, this is to be mixed with any beverages and taste tasteless.. slowly my supply did increase. i am still drinking the super chlorophyll till now and still wielding 300 - 400ml per pump. I am really happy that i am able to buffet milk my girl. So mummies, if you are keen on the chlorophyll, you can wa me at 90258843. Its really a good supplement with many benefits at affordable price. :)
 
Magneto, me too! Tummy is so bloated n keeps burping...having constipation so it makes me looks really pregnant!going to see Gunnar soon for my first visit. So excited!

Is anyone looking for confinement nanny? Extremely reliable & trustworthy. She took very great care of me and my little baby, my first CN was the popular Siew Ling Jie, which I thought was a very good already.. Now my current nanny is even better! :) I am a fussy mommy and yet she can satisfy most of my expectation. I can tell she is very passionate in taking care of babies. She will talk/sing/ to them even tho she can go and rest.. Impressed she can take care of me, baby, cook, clean, feed at the same time. We all "blossomed" from her delicious cooking. Either my super fussy elder boy also gained significant weight! My hubby also keep praising her cooking. She is so good that I engaged her for 2 months :) So helping her to find her next job :) PM me if interested! :)

Hey ladies!

Congratulations to all! Im new here and just got the great news about 4 days ago and im five weeks+... edd is on 8 May. Anyone delivering through KKH? Can advise which steps to take? Sorry, v blur. I found out I was expecting my first when i was already almost 5 months along so went to check up straight. Missed the early stages... So theres alot of questions in my head like when do i go for check up and all?
 
anyone here experience pain at rib? dunno is it rib...bt its the bone on both sides jus below ur bra.

I just found out i'm having twins! Should be 6 weeks now. They will be my #2 & #3, my #1 is now 16 mths. Think it's going to be difficult but i'm so excited!

Yah juz thinking of taking care of 2 is scary too... But will juz take 1 thing at a time. Now only hope to get past 1st tri peacefully. :)
 
Hi Mama_suria, if u want to be a subsidised patient of kkh, u will need to get a referral letter from polyclinics. However you are unable to choose your gynae if you are a subsidised patient.

If u want to be a private patient of kkh and choose your gynae, you can just call kkh to make an appt with your preferred gynae.

Same for me..i have to unbutton my pants when i attempt to sit down..it's ok la, just hope my little one is growing well and healthy. :)

Going to buy some maternity shorts online soon.;)
 
hey sumo5, can share those online websites? i looking at cheap cheap de. heeh dun wan spend too much.. haven dig out my old de. but ive grown a size bigger since than 4+ yrs ago... dun think those can last me thru the whole stage, stil nd get some

rainbowzstarz, mine too! had it when pregnant with my first also. pain when touch, super sensitive. :) body also blossoming... my bum as well. its one of my fav part of pregnancy. :)

rainbowzstarz, because my body figure is those slender very slim kind... very skinny. until people think im anorexic, never eat and all. but actually i champion at eating. its just high metabolism so when i gain weight particularly around the boobs, bum, and belly, im v happy. haha. husband also like it. coz after bf my first, my boobs shrink real small already. so very happy now blossoming up again.
