Hi ladies who are delivering at Thomson, something to share. TMC has this first baby incentive scheme:

I called up and asked in details; you have to pay $148 to sign up (before 28th weeks pregnancy) after that it is $188.

U can get discounts eg; $80-$100 off the delivery ward stay, 5% off doctor delivery charge cap at $100(if your gynae is under Thomson Panel), 5% off at services at Thomson Hospital eg OSCAR and FA scan and 10% off their retail pharmancy (can get the maternity milk).

Other privileges and some free gifts.

U can send through mail or sign up at the Thomson medical centre info counter. U can call their hotline: 6358 0055 / 63508876 and enquire. The person was quite helpful. Thy have scheme for subsequent child too.

I am going to sign up when I doing my OSCAR on coming Monday.

Happydonut: I was given duphaston from my first gynae too..initially I took 3 times a day..den I reduce to 2 and 1.. And now I stop eating..haha..

Yup, it's good to sign up for the card if you are giving birth at TMC. i signed up for the card too last time. if you go for their pre natal class, got discount too.

i intend to sign up for their SBI card.

I was referred by polyclinic & hv chosen subsidised rate, thus not choosing gynae. I am given duphaston too, 3x a day

Had some discharge & cramps so doc said med is to stabilise pregnancy. The pharmacist was telling me some ladies could feel nausea after taking it, though rare. I'm on mc resting at home now, happy to find the thread

Little fish

Don't worry about fading symptoms. As it comes and goes. This is my third pregnancy and I worry each time symptoms missing but all turns out ok. Probably your body adjust well to hormone already

Any recommendations? Private is fine as I'm comparing kkh's private rate vs private hosp's private rate.

She told me her hometown believe that snake is as prosperity as it is classified as little dragon (xiao long). Anyone kn whether we can take tea now?
Seems like hot tea is the only drink I can take now.
Other drinks, I will feel like throwing up.

we have the same edd.

i think so long as everything in moderate shd be ok.
i drink max 2 cups of coffee everyday. try to keep to 1 usually.

my no 1, i also drink coffee thro out my preg. but all in moderate with gynae advise.

Hi Babyxi... I still consume tea / coffee, but I limit my intake to 2-3 cups a week. I used to take 2-3 cups a day previously.

i am 8 weeks and 2 days today and im having this mild cramps in my lower tummy mostly left sided. it is not consistent but comes and goes and has been like this for almost 5 days. I only seem to get this when i am in office where the air-con gets really cold. I don't know if it is anything i should worry about and my first appt is only on the 29th. Just feeling worried..

Hi Usha.. I have cramps occasionally too. Ive googled and alot of information stated that the mild cramps are fine as long as cramps do not come with bleeding.

If it still persist for a long time, you may want to see your gynae soon

hi usha, i have mild cramps as well. it should be fine so long as the pain doesn't get worse. that was what the doc told me last week.

cough syrup - promethazine is fine too, drowsy though. prospan is v mild

Mild cramps should be fine as uterus is expanding maybe.

Ivy leaf cough syrup should be safe I used to give my infant too.

I am always hungry and eat a lot. Only 9 weeks and my belly is like 4-5 months pregnant?! I cat belief this one showing up so early.

Mummies, I am selling magic cloth to practice calligraphy with just water 水写布. Interested pm me yeah....

Any mummies encounter b4 sneezing too hard and lower ab hv sharp pain? Will we hurt our bb? Just now I sneeze too hard n had sharp pain for few secs.. Am worry though..

i am same as you. my hb said i look like 4 to 5 mth preg. but last check up at week 8 din put on wt, next 27th is my check up, hopefully dun put on a lot.

i also eating a lot, every 2 to 3 hourly, but small meals..

when preg with my no 1, my tummy also show up very fast.
