I only had 1 CB Digital with conception indicator left so I used it yest using 1st urine and it was positive

We went out in the afternoon to get another test kit. Bought Fortel pregnancy test mid stream kit but it came out negative

Got me all worried! Maybe because my urine was too diluted? I didn't abstain from water and took the test abt an hr from my last water intake.

I had gone to my GP this morning to do a HCG blood test. Now waiting anxiously for them to let me know that the result is in.

Not sure whether my co will offer 6 months maternity. But my maternity period will clash with work peak period! *faints*

anyone feeling exhausted? esp after lunch? the morning sickness symptoms isn't "that" bad yet but i kept feeling SOoooooo sleepy @_@
 
Dap, i feel a pulling sensation on the side, on and off. I think it's normal at this time.

If you have any spotting or don't feel comfortable, see yr gynae soon.

I feel so "tight" around my gastric area.. tummy very bloated and my pants feel extremely tight.

ocean, i rem reading some post where fortel kits are not accurate. if u r in doubt, blood test can never lie to u.

I've been feeling pulling sensations too. It's like cramps yet don't feel similar. More so when I'm lying down in bed. It's around the pelvic area / lower abdomen. I hope I'm not reading too much into all these early preg symptoms. Can't wait to get the result!

! Heard from the nurses at the clinic that it is possible to test negative when you're pregnant. But if you have gotta a positive result, it is unlike to be a false alarm.
 
Can anyone share with Dr Paul Tseang is good? Is his queue very long? How are his charges like?

Just made an appt with current gynae, and is scheduled for 25th appt, what a super long wait and my gynae charges extra $20 for weekend consultation. Haiz
 
sam, i am seeing him for the first time but my appt is mid next mth. i dunno how long is the q but the "missy" told me , be ready to wait for at least 45-1 hr and in case of emergency case, he will also need to attend to them first.

8-sept , hb not in sgp
15-sep, I am seeing him :p

Then i asked the missy, any earlier slot during wkday. told me dr not in sgp fr 17-27 aug, this mth confirmed not possible. next month, is quite packed. if next mth, then make no diff if I choose a sat. So i took a sat appt instead. save my leave lor.

yes, thinking to change lor, his queue is super long, your 45-1hr is nothing. i ever waited 3-4hrs to see him
 
omg.. 3-4hrs.. juz thinkg whether to bring my #1 there or not if i hv to wait so long. i got a feeling i hv to wait more than 1 hr too.. but i hope not 3 hrs..

i juz called dr paul clinic, i think he away till 31st, earliest appt from 3sep onwards. didnt really like the way the reception answered the qns lor, like v yaya papaya lidat.
 
Hi all, i m new here. I have been ttc for 2 yrs n went thru a failed ivf 2 mths ago but found out i conceived naturally yesterday! Its a miracle im still getting over. This will be our 1st child. Are all of you due in apr 13, is that how this forum works?
 
sam, no mention of extra charges for wkend but i did ask abt charges. $120-150 for first consultation and $80-$100 for subseq consultation. it's better to shortlist one then stick to it right fr the beginning coz first timer has to pay more. he has no packages .. all by per visit.

Hi all

Went for the scan today. Doc said i am 5w6d. The baby now is 2.6mm with a heartbeat. But he said is too small to measure hb rate. However, I always have thyroid issues. My blood test result is not normal and he suggested me to reduce my thyroidxine intake and refer me to an thyroid specialist.

I googled thyroid balance is very impt in the growth and development of the baby. I hope my little bean will continue to grow healthily and strong.

Hi zenn, you could see hb at 5 week?! Wah ! N are we in the same boat - 1st pregnancy?

Can i get a feel of hcg beta reading from Everyone? Mine was 485..

Yes, this is my 1st pregnancy and very similar in the way. I was supposed to do ivf in aug and luckily strike naturally when I m taking my one month break. Yeah doc said there is a hb & I heard a "pon pon" sound.

I was doing some search on my thyroid result. I have high tsh & my free T4 is also on the high side ( thou still within normal range) which is very unusual. And this is freaking me out.

How far a long r u? I'm still waiting for my hcg beta result. Hopefully the clinic will call me tmr else it will be a long wait till Mon.

i am now 4 weeks++ any GP can test for hcg beta??? all other test i try is faint +ve except for fortel and predictor.. cfm with clear blue digital as well.. and my preg test is still faint line ><

zzzz... my gynae din test urine to cfm cos he say i test so many time shd be ok...
 
Zenn zenn, we have another thing in common! I had grave disease but under ctrl now but still on medication n seeing a thyroid specialist ...

Its nice that you have confirmed theres hb. I will be in suspense until 22nd. Are u on hormone pills?
 
Mytulips, i might not want to speak too early but ms is a very gd sign! I have been eating a lot but not feeling queasy... Not sure if i shld be quietly happy or worried!

Tutu, another thing in common. I have hypo. My last blood test is in June. Within normal range but both t4 &amp; tsh is at high side. Then I conceived in July. Took the blood test last Monday. my result is TSH is 7.34 (max: 4.9), T4 is 18 (max is 19). My gynae advised to reduce my thyroidxine to 50mg instead of regular 75mg. And he refer me to endo specialist at mt E this Tuesday. I m curious most people increase their dosage whereas I decreased. Also with high t4 &amp; tsh is very rare? I can't seem to find more info onion the web.

I am so worried as high tsh carries high risk of miscarriage &amp; affects the brain development.

Cheryl, yes. Any GP can draw blood and send it to the lab to do a hcg beta. I asked for a quantitative beta coz I want to know the hcg hormone level and not just whether I'm preg or not. I also asked to do a progesterone level check. I've PCOS so it's impt to check my progesterone level.

Me too. My #1 my MS so bad till I hospitalised.
Now its seem MS started 2 weeks earlier... duno what to do... nausea and dizzy spell driving me nuts, especially when walking.. I rem I almost "died"

dunno how to survive the next few months. I'm doing part time studies at the same time... I just kept taking small meals and snacks so that I won't throw up!
 
I just received my HCG blood test result from GP. I'm pregnant!! Yippee!

Feeling excited, happy yet anxious. I'm probably abt 4weeks now. Gotta make appt to see Obstetrician in 2 weeks. Hopefully, by then, we can see/hear the heartbeat.

mytulips, divein and shirelle, my MS is kicking in to and I'm starting to be averse to those foods that I normally would enjoy such as chicken rice. I went to NTUC to get some preserve sweet prunes. It helps as it's a little sour too. I also read that some people are fine sucking on peppermint sweets so I bought POLO sweets too. U all may wanna get the sweet prunes too. It's called 甜话梅in chinese. I bought the one from EGO.
 
mytulips, I was actually thinking of going to KKH as I had my lap done there last year. But, I've made appt at NUH instead coz I think it's not as crowded as KKH and I'm considering water birth if this pregnancy holds.

I'm going to see a private Ob at 6 weeks 1st then switch to NUH which I've already gotten an appt and would be about 10weeks by then. I can only go to restructured hospitals as my company covers the medical bills for those incurred at restructured hosps.

I felt restless and no appeitite. I don't seem to feel hungry. When I eat, I just take small portion and was full &amp; nausea.
My heart rate seem fast &amp; my breast gets really tender &amp; sore. I m under utrogestan supplement.
 
Thanks, Zenn zenn! I feel hungry constantly but get nauseous too. I also have sore boobs and my lower abdomen is uncomfortable with the pulling sensation. For u, make sure u eat proper small bites since u have no appetite, quality is more impt than quantity.
