I am not sure if I can see my baby gender in my next visit, which is 13th June.... by then I should be 16 weeks already. I heard that some still can see the gender on the 16th week.

Hi Little bb,

sorry to ask again... so you received your oscar test result today? How's the result and did your gynae explain anything?

Hi Ladies,

I saw that you gals who talking about the ginger cream.. which can be used for neck and shoulder aches.. is it good? cos i usually have this problem and I used to paste muscle aid plaster before my pregnancy... now, I dare not use the plaster and keep using medicated oil to apply.

May I know where can I get the ginger cream? Any particular brand? it is safe for use during pregnancy right?

Hi NOvember mummies to be!!

LIke to hear some feedbacks. Anyone above 35 yrs old but opt for Oscars Test instead of Amnio Test?

My gynae say Oscar test is about 90% accurate only and amnio test is about 99% accurate...

Anyone above 35 able to share your experience of why u do Oscar test instead?

Went for my gynae appt yesterday, all's fine, and then gynae asked if I wanted to know gender. I said of cos! But at that moment my notti baby decided to cross legs! Before that baby's legs were wide open! I was thinking to myself maybe baby's a shy girl, but after a while, gynae said he spotted "something that doesn't look like part of the umbilical code"! So he concluded 70% boy. My first reaction was to look at my boy and tell him baby's not a Lola!! Cos we have been reading the storybooks Charlie & Lola, as part of my efforts to prepare him to be a good big brother (just like Charlie!) actually I was expecting to have a girl esp since my preg symptoms are so diff from last time, so the news was a bit of a shocker. But still, I couldn't help smiling as I walked out of the clinic room, cos I so adore little boys! [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]

And oh yes, I can do detailed scan next mth, so fast!! Thats like reaching the halfway mark, 20weeks!! Agh, can't wait for time to pass quickly, want to faster pop and see baby [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]

M&M,

The primary diff between Oscar and amnio is, one is non-invasive (and therefore zero risk to fetus) and one is invasive (the risk is very small though, esp under the hands of an experienced gynae).

rainzz,

Thanks! [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif] She's daddy's girl, very manja. I hope to know gender tmr during checkup. Fingers crossed!! If cannot spot anything means shld be girl liao since by now the bird and balls are formed. Hee hee!!

Leikela,

Thnx for updating! I'm at Jurong West. Not sure what the other mommies think, maybe can remove the 'Next Appt' column since like the table very squeezed liao.

Naturally,

Lol! Probably a shy baby boy u have there! Ur boy must be really happy, gonna have a didi to play with soon! [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]

#2OTW,

congrats on knowing the gender!

Nic going to be so happy got didi to play with.

Im back to work tomoro..we can meet for lunch.

Will sms u yah!

Starry,

saw your girl's pics.

Your Jadelyn is soooo cute n precious looking.

Must be nice to have a little doll that u can dress up..hehe

Lynzi,

Thanks, babe! [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif] Had fun dressing her up. Haha! But now harder cos she won't stay still for long, hard to dress her up already. Rifqi is very adorable and handsome too! All his pics are very photogenic. U looking forward to another little handsome??

Little bb,

I would love to have another little girl! Think both girls will be very close growing up and look like twins cos of the close age gap. Hubby hopes for a boy though. Anyway, health is most important. Doesn't matter much which gender, really. [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]

hey ladies, need to update the chart. I'm having a girl. Came back from the Oscar testing n all is well. Infact, I'm surprised I've lost weight even though I've been eating ok. Hmmm....
