I tried, he can't even finish 120ml sometimes. I think bb wakes up in the middle of the night is like a habit also right? would using water instead make bb rather sleep through the day?

hmm bb keep tossin hor it not a habit i find it more like he is not comfortable mus test n trial lo now my bb better le not so often make noise at nite..

my bb jus started to sit w/o support but not v stable yet meaning w/o me holdin he can sit still but if he turn n move he will fall 1 side lol~ usu ard 7/8mth bah depend on bb

Can I ask when your baby is awake, what do u usually do with her? Do u just let her lie down and play by herself on the mat? Or do u always try to engage her by playing with her? If latter, isn't it a bit tiring to do and how you do other thing if you are alone with her?

 
I'm prob also going back to my wedding photographer for family shoot. Lightedpixels. I think he charges 400-500$ for 1 hour or so. We love his pics ! Anyone else interested ? See if we can get group discount.

Breastfeeding. Wah, I'm counting down already. 3.5weeks more!! Actually two days back I went to buy FM to standby, cuz my supply is dropping very badly. After buying it, it came right up again! Hahaha!!



The reason why I HAVE to feed till 6 months is because I can straight away give Step2FM, no need to change, and since I am going away, I only need to bring one kinda of FM since my other two kids drink step2 too. Let's see how long I can sustain. I'm starting to see THE LIGHT!!!



Huh, sitting is 7-8mths har? So crawl first? I keep thinking A3 is doing it wrong, cuz she is trying to crawl and I am trying to entice her to sit. Hahaha!



Are you all going for PS? Me too! But I was thinking about another few months more, wait till I lose weight lah!

Same same la. My IL would luv to help me look after whole day, but I dun want. That's why I convert to part time to spend time with him. Then weekends I also take over everything, and mil will stand one side eyeing for opportunity to carry him. Really bth! But to me, she has spent a good 8 or 9 hours with bb mon to fri liao. So when I'm hm or during weekends, pls dun come and disturb us lor...

actually it gd tt u wanna BF nothing wrong with BF wat i wanna point out is weanin nite feed thru latchin.. tt the tough part.. n once it become a habit of drinkin at nite it not abt weanin alr but since u r alr stoppin nite feed i dun see much prob alr cos i believe day time when u workin ur bb r bott feed right? as long no rejection i tink ok.. cos latchin on does not mean bb drinkin also n how hard to wean bb off from latchin depend on individual bb n i tink only when u go thru the weanin process den u can tell diff or easy for ur bb..

How can the sales people say that?? 6 months then stop.. I think it is a personal preference how long you wanna bf.. Don't let others make you feel sad about bfing.. They will outgrow the latching.. My friends who bf for a year all manage to wean off eventually.. When the time comes, it will happen one.. =)

Ya I am also counting down to the day I stop bfing!! Another 20 days for me!! For me I always feel my pump vol is the most on Monday after a whole weekend of latching.. Then by fri, dry up.. Haha!! It's a cycle.. Did you breastfeed your oldest the longest??

Ya more or less settle.. My boss has been around for 2 weeks so I sort of know what he does and how he wants it done.. Quite interesting lah.. Cos very new plus there are quite a number of people I know there so not really a stranger.. Thankfully my colleagues are all nice too.. Very helpful and friendly..

A little tired though.. Cos daytime I can really work non stop.. Then come back home, must prepare the kids for bed and have to wake up early to get my #1 ready for school.. Only can breathe after I put the kids to bed.. Haha!! That's why I peifu you.. Still can do housework.. I got maid still so tired.. Can't imagine without one!! Haha!!

hahah more or less settled in but abit messy over there so need to spend time sorting out lo really tired almost doze off at work daily heng my kolig there quite ok so not too bad..

i tink my lifestyle same as u gotta wake up early n can only sleep after i put them to sleep n do all my laundry n washing but usu my HB ard he will help out in the housework so not so bad jus tt now he not ard v siong lo...

Lynn, I had checked with my #2's PD as to how long we should bf our bb(s), he said 1 yr is good enough. I'm still latching... and it's due to latching that she picks up night feeds again, but what to do, if she's hungry, she's hungry lor('cos she really drank). I only hope I can be as lucky as Gerry, in terms of weaning 'cos I don't have such experience(1st one didn't bf for long and even then, I gave her EBM)...

Breastfeeding

I personally feel that its up to individual mom for breastfeeding. Not feeding doesn't make you a bad mom, feeding doesn't make you a fantastic mom. It all boils down to a whole package, how u love and care for your child is the most important. Of course we all would like to breastfeed because the doctor says breastmilk is best for baby!! But if breastfeeding is making you lose it, then its really better to stop.



But I do agree breastfeeding is hard work. No pain, no gain. Milk doesnt really come naturall for most, need to work at it!!



For breastmilk to be beneficial, a mom's diet plays a very important role. My PD also tells me that BF after 1st year is not highly beneficial as how many people can keep up with the strict diet and also to wean the child off latching.



Anyway, big pat for all of us! Am sure we are all good moms!!! Hoho!!

Your boy 4 should be easier.. Even 1+-2 yr already I find easy.. If kids fussy, just make them an egg or cheese sandwich lor..

My #1 is now on hunger strike.. Don't want to eat anything besides hard boiled eggs and milk!! Sigh.. But I figured eggs are super nutritious food.. So ok lor..

Mummies, kindly check any good brand of car seat to recommend? I have a passed-down car seat from my cousin - however, my girl refuse to sit;will always create a big fuss and cry all the way home [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/sad.gif] Do not know is becos the car seat is not comfortable for her as is a infant car seat (but initial stage also refuse to sit)...thought of buying a new ones so that my HB will has a better journey back hme...Any recommendation?

i have same feeling as you. feel bad to #2 but really no choice. body keep fall sick since return back to work. now stop BF i really feel more freedom & can have bonding time for 2kids.

I'm back from Taipei...



Did I see someone mentioned going?

Anyway I stayed at q square service apartment for 5 days..

Really cheap and good...



But we took alot of cabs which I think not cheap..

We spent about 2 k and I didn't really buy much..

Mostly on food.. Just eat and eat and eat...

So fat Liao, hubby got a big belly too...



Really love their hot spring...



And their strollers are so good.. Very lightweight.. Very tempted to get one back..
