Wow so many mummies not sleeping well. Actuali tis few wks surprise me I slept well. If I fallen aslp I can b like a pig but can't due to #1 keep disturbin me haix. Last time at nite my bb will kick me or I will wake up n pee but nowaday I seldom wake up pee plus hb everynite will tend to talk to bb tellin him mummy need to slp don turn here n there n so far so gd it works :p

there is no std guideline for weight gain cos for some MS rtn n affect their appetite but most gain alot in last trim.. usu we look at the overall weight gain...

regarding eating fish afte c-sect

what i heard is that eating fish will grow flesh around the wound (like what piggy said). and it was confirmed by an elderly friend of mine who had very ugly wound after she ate a lot of fish after c-sect. but if i'm not wrong, it's only certain kind of fish, especially "sheng yu"... that's why my previous CL told me cannot take the essence of "sheng yu" initially, or rather cannot take too much.

maybe it makes sense cos "sheng yu" promotes the growth of flesh after operation. suppose to be good, but it the growth is not controlled, u will have very uneven growth along the wound...

i also start work at 8am... but today arrived almost at 8.30am cos my son woke up at 5 plus to ask for milk, then went back to sleep and refused to wake up. only woke up around 7.25am...

I am sooo exhausted... Can't wait to rest.. But rest also very uncomfortable.. Sleep can be so painful nowadays.. And I still have 7 more weeks to go!! Arghzz... And then later at work, I have to do some work that requires lots of hunching!! I think I am soo going to die!!!! Sorry had to whine..

At this stage, I already give up on how much weight I am gaining liao.. Beyond my control.. Eat little, gain a lot.. eat more, no gain.. Right now all I want is to be as comfortable as possible and so long bb is growing well.. But ya like piggy said, I think we will gain the most during the last trimester provided you don't get MS..

Actually down there will heal very well and very nice cos a lot of blood vessels.. Like our mouth when we have ulcers wouldn't leave a scar.. so the stitching there will also disappear one.. Wouldn't have those keloid looking scars..

• cardigan or dressing gown

• bedroom slippers

• sanitary belt (optional)

• sanitary towels (optional)

• polythene bags (for your soiled linen)

Note: It is advisable to have a bag ready with these necessary items packed 2 to 4 weeks befoe estimated delivery date.



We will provide the following for your newborn baby:

• baby vests

• disposable diapers

• toiletries

• a baby bag

• wrapping blanket

• a pair of mittens

Basic toiletries throughout your stay with us will be provided. However, you may also like to bring along your personal clothing, cosmetics and toiletries for a more comfortable stay. You are advised against bringing large sums of cash or valuables.

Most people I know will pop around EDD.. I gave birth to my #1 1 week earlier than EDD.. Very hard to predict when you pop.. No hard and fast rule..

I am taking single bedder.. Want my hb to stay with me.. and I don't like to have strangers in the same room.. =)
