starfruit: I second Natasha! It's my fave name. My dad gave me a v v common name when I was born. When I started dating with hubby, I used to write him notes signing off as Natasha. If I have a gal, will definitely name her that :p

Anyone experienced tummy hardening? I seems to have that when I walk too much...

Thanks rach. Alamak, I hope it doesn't turn out as the real thing at this early stage, hmm it just reminded me of Jamie Yeo's case. Found these info on Braxton hicks:



Call your caregiver right away if you haven't reached 37 weeks and your contractions are becoming more frequent, rhythmic, or painful, or if you have any of these possible signs of preterm labor:



• Abdominal pain, menstrual-like cramping, or more than four contractions in an hour (even if they don't hurt)



• Any vaginal bleeding or spotting



• An increase in vaginal discharge or a change in the type of discharge — if it becomes watery, mucusy, or bloody (even if it's only pink or blood-tinged)



• Increased pelvic pressure (a feeling that your baby's pushing down)



• Low back pain, especially if it's a new problem for you



If you're past 37 weeks, there's no need to call your doctor or midwife just for contractions until they last about 60 seconds each and are five minutes apart — unless your caregiver has advised you otherwise.



Angelia: Will putting some stretch mark cream help? I had the terrible tich in the early stage when the skin was stretching, had to resort to snake powder once to relief the itch.

 
Mimimo : i dont know whether those stretchmark cream helps anot.. Cause i only apply baby lotion on my tummy... As for the itchyness, me too using snake powder... And my mummy told me BETTER DONT SCRATCH !!! If not later damn jialat de... =\

Tres: I also think of gg to either Bali or Phuket by plane cos I saw SQ guideline is 32 weeks and above then cannot board the plane.



Babybride: I called royal Caribbean and the sales person told me 24 weeks and above cannot board their ship. Now I totally condemn cruises, so unfriendly.

ting ting: i believe different people feel the baby kicks at different week. some as early as before 20th week, for me around 20-21th week.

My sister told me she only felt hers around 27th week.

 
Ting ting - think diff pp have diff experience. I started feeling the kicks more strongly at 20th week. Also noticed that he kicks harder when I'm cooking near the stove, could be the heat, when I listen to loud classical music and when i lie flat on the bed.

 
Angelia : I think got some moms here whose not living with the mil but also feel very helpless n stress. I used to stay with my IL but only for 4 months while waiting for my house to be ready. Angelia: I think quite a no of us either headache w in laws or own mothers.. We were saying jus ignore their behaviour or words sometimes.. If nt jus one ear listen one ear out.. Hehe.

But still acceptable... So i told her when she ask me, end up she ask hb to TOTALLY stop me from drinks... Milo, coffee , and other drink all NONO !!! Only plain water allow... Even if got any celebration or what, i also cant touch any drink, only water, water and water... Abit kua zhang lo... I know ia because of my goods lah.. But than too OvEr liao...
