Just back after dinner at my SIL's. She passed me some more baby stuff and fetched me back. [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif] She has 3 girls so she patiently went through her stack for gender neutral baju for Noah. Hahaha.
Tango- I decided to go old school. Bought those white cloth nappies. Hahaha. I will prob use disposables more often though. The cloth nappies we will alternate use in the day so baby's butt gets time to air as well. Decided to go old school becoz I recall I didn't like the hassle of washing cloth diapers with Kae hahaha and if I am not gonna use as much, I didn't want to invest in that area too much at one shot since not keen on pursuing it long term. Bought Pureen white cloth diapers- 12 pieces for $19+. Inserts from Tollyjoy. Economical and functionable. [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif] Plus old school nappies dry very much faster too. ^.^""
Wish - if #3 is also a boy then like that lor.... I dunno if we will aim for #4. We will consider it when the time comes. As long as the kids are healthy, we are ok if #3 is m or f lah. [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]
Choc- NTUC prices are still the best. I have been checking out prices too. [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif] My hubby has practically started ignoring other hypermarts and supermarkets and malls when it comes to diapers and daily necessities. NTUC sill has the best prices plus if u collect their link points, it really is very "wu hua". I only go John Little to buy work shirts, pants for the hubby & usually only when there is a sale n when we get vouchers. [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]
Cherry- it really depends on ur preference and needs when it comes to mittens and booties. We only had 4-5 sets and it was basically wash and wear for us. We found that they do dry pretty fast IMHO. Babies dun drool on them til a few months later, and by 6 mths we didn't use mittens or booties much as we kept losing them. Plus, Kae hated them. Hahaha. We bought those that have breathable holes (netting material) as they dried fast and were not so warm. Kiddy palace sells these. We wore rompers that covered the feet if we knew we were going to cold places for long stretches as booties tended to slip off when Kae kicked. We lost several pairs this way. Try to buy most of them in the same design so u can mix and match when one half goes missing. If not when u lose one side of design A, cannot match with design B. Lol.
