How many milk bottles do we need to have for a start? I have 5, is that enough?



I saw your previous comments. You mean pigeon storage bottle can be fit into medela pump? We also heard that you should not re-used the storage bottle too long, should replace it with new ones but not sure for how long. If need to change too often we might use milk bottles to store instead.

this time come with gastic pain.. so painful..

my v area there is very tight..

Fiona, my tummy also will hardness every now n then. but after a while it will be soft back. THen after few mins or half an hrs will hard.

Hmm i will go ask my gyna on this wed. See whether is it ok?

U better have ur meal regularly dont get gastic.

No good to have gastic pain.

 
wish child: i eaten my dinner.. 3 meal sometimes 4 meals a day.. but when pregnant the gastic will come very often.. when i not pregnant i don't have any gastic problem..

1. Payment wise, she is suggesting that we pay her $200 deposit seperately. Perhaps, you might want to quote Feb MTB 2011 when emailing her? Her email add is [email protected]. You can make payment to her directly.



Pls advice your nickname too otherwise its difficult for Origins Jamu to track. She will be basing the promotion based on our name list here too. So pls, add your name to list if you wish to be included in offer.



As for the balance, it would be made on the 2nd last day of the massage.



2. Changing from 7 day to 10 days package is possible if you notify her on the 2nd day.

OFB : there are small items at the warehouse sell too but mostly chicco brand .Saw some infant clothes , play mats , maternity wear .

I did not buy anything as my friend was rushing off . Was there for 20 mins . Those photos I took are displayed items going for 80 % off . There are some scratches and wear and tear on those .

hey mummies..morning!! i went to the warehouse sales yest too..total damage $153 but we got our baby a pinky play mat..so contented with the purchases..but still got many items i need to get but they dont have the brand there..

Cheer up. Ur 10kg is from ur bb weight+water ball+placenta. Once we gave birth we will lose weight. DOnt worry. Somemore we BF bb sure the weight will go back to last time before we pregnant. =)

MamiB, I saw babies clothes at giant is cheap. What a steal. So far bought somehow enough clothes for my bb to last till 3mths. Hopefully when bb full mth sure lot of ppls will give clothes or hongbao to bb =)

How u feelg now? My SIL had a similar experience too and her gynae told her that it's because her belly is too heavy & her blood vessels burst resulting in blood in the urine. Dr gave her some antibiotics & on-off she's still experiencing it.



Do go and see ur gynae soon to rule out the possibility of any bacteria infection.



Btw, how's the antenatal class? how early did u book?

NTUC 20% discount on Avent, Pigeon etc. TOday i went back again and bought a pair Avent pacifier for $11.90 after 20% discount. Was $14.90. I think the most tempting was Pigeon Wide Neck Bottles selling at $11 and $13. 29% off, i really don't see any cheaper elsewhere. If not i already had 5, i would had bought it. You can get the nipple at 20% discount too, it was $5.35 up $6.70.

Went NTUC today too.. Bought Baby's detergent and lots of diapers. 2 big packs of NTUC diapers for my dd's childcare. Was told they change diapers very fast so no need to use so good ones. Should have gotten the small sizes ones too. Must go back and get. 2 packs for $19.50. UP was $21.50 i think. Plus got extra discounts with NTUC credit cards.



Bought Huggies too.. Cos 2 packs of Jumbo got free toys.

@vivian, u ar not alone. i hav gained abt 9kg and Dr Ang said my baby is only abt 600g. he said the normal range is abt 600-800g. as long as the baby is growing well, i will be happy. At which week 600g?



Our last appt at week 23+ was 613g. Dr Ang also say the same to us normal range 600-800g. My wife put on 1kg so far, now she 42 kg. Not that she didn't eat, but her weigh just didn't seemed to go up. As long baby weight okay liao ... By the time we go back at week 27 baby should be about 1kg liao ba

 


@SLim: Just realise my EDD is same as yours and also a boy... perhaps boys tends to be little lighter? i duno...

I bf for my 1st one, manage to go near to my pre-pregnancy weight after a year... A bit paiseh cos my colleage all said i look like i am going to deliver soon already... haha



@eviangal: i think i'll give it a miss for the jamu. Btw, the ntuc offer is islandwide right?



For this baby, i'm thnking to switch to NUK or BFree glass bottles... anyone use Bfree bottle before? I am using Avent for my 1st boy now but getting a bit frustrated over the leasking. I had used Dr Brown before... its in fact quite good but a lot of parts to wash and i prefer wide bottles, which Dr Brown brand don't have the wide bottles for glass. My friend actucally recommend me NUK... i am not sure how good it is.



There's a Parenthood fair coming up on 23 Nov to 26 Nov, wnder if there's any good stuff we can get from there...
