hi jaclyn, thanks for the info. wah u will throw away ah. currently my milk supply still on the low side so I really can't bear to throw away any milk. guess for the time being i'll have to be diligent and carry more stuff with me when i go out. when i have more milk then i will most prob follow your method which is so much simpler =) btw, where did u get to know about the 4-4-4 rule? From MAH prenatal class and a BF guidebook from mumsfairy, it says 4 hr room temp, 48 hr (2 days) fridge and 3 month freezer.

well, depends on weather also. 1 way to check whether bb is too hot/cold is to feel the tummy. feel the feet no use but if you find feet are cold, then wear socks. my baby's feet used to be quite cold but i wd feel her tummy to see whether she's cold. if tummy feels warm, that means she's not cold

Sito: sry haven't experience tat. Think pass motion? Mine cranky everyday nowadays but put near me latch awhile will slp.. But mom dun like so always ask CL handle as she wan me rest. A few time is tummy upset bah, see he pass motion until like wat. Others is jus nth, CL will talk to bb which I find abit loud, ask bb slp night alrdy, drink le mus slp, than give pacifier, play music try all sort of things. Usually I dun like to talk to her latershe sure say put ru yi oil. Though bb cord drop but I read alot say dun put scared bb sensitive or uncomfy cuz hot.

ceres, put in fridge can last 48 hours, i also think give fresh one better.. was thinking to freeze my EBM cuz i am ahead of bb chloe by 1 1/2 day, today she has been drinking the EBM which i pumped out yesterday, then tmr will drink the EBM i pumped out today, i don't like lei.. like not fresh though i know it's still within 48 hours. So CL and I decided to give her EBM even at night and stop giving FM.

I'm finding that my baby girl on total BF, poos really regularly. My confinement lady changes diapers 3 x during the night. We can usually tell when she poos, cos she farts really loud. I'm wondering whether anyone changes diapers once after poop, or wait a little longer. Sometimes, straight after changing diapers, my girl poops again!!
ladies,my boy turning a mth old soon n u noe wat? CL went 2 brush teeth juz nw n i heard frm e bb monitor sum funny noises n CL nt there 2 coax him? (normally she will). Decided 2 cum out n saw e beansprout pillow was on his mouth! Tis boi even we swaddle him n lie è pillow below his hand,he wil use his strength n kick n kick! So scary! Shann n suntan: my CL hor at night I slp she Kay siao give fm. She lazy go downstairs get the ebm n say wat the bottle warmer avent no gd. My fridge is quite cold so when warm must warm 2time. Warm base on fridge than base on rm temp. She lazy so.. Make fm or ask me latch. Than I pump out one redundant. She even say I got record so tell her can le. Tell le still same.. Keep ask me u got milk? Meaning ask me latch. Than 1 day I can pump 4 bottles abt avg 100+ ml to keep cuz night he drink fm. Than within 2 days must use.. She keep ask me latch later wasted leh the bm. Just waste the ebm n bf? Dunno wat to do now leh.. I still got 4 bottle avg 130ml to be used by tdy lor..

Me not using beansprout pillow and baby sleeps ok. But usually will carry & rock her to sleep 1st then put her down in the cot. When putting her down, I'll put my hands on her hands and legs to make her feel secure before completely letting go. Same concept as the pillow- babies just wanna feel secure
Since 2 wks old, only half swaddle my baby ie. her hands are free coz she din like being wrapped up tightly. Now also got problem coz even when we swaddle her legs tight, she'll be kicking away the swaddle cloth and keeps pushing up

My Boy since come back alrdy kick leg & hand so we dare not put bean sprout on him. He like to turn here n there swing hands etc than hit his face (wonder later will become blue black or not). I just spoke to her regarding EBM. Ask her use up todays one tonight. She like ok than tell me all sorts of reason, like climb up & down outside dark ar.. i say can on light? She say dunno on which light so nv on & is scary. -.-
Than i say dun waste my BM so night dun feed FM feed EBM she ok lor.. than complain bottle warmer need warm 2 times. I guess my fridge is colder that is why need warm 2 times. Than she complain ppl who invented this nv invent properly.. than she bargain somemore say leave the water boiled before inside bottle warmer, she will top up on the next warming. Like this also lazy. Just pour & later if need warm than add water..

Think this CL dun suit me. My Hubby hates ppl sit on our bed especially ppl he dunno or dun like. So we buy CL a mattress & give her a chair. Past few days if BB on bed she will carry without sitting on bed & go to BB cot & change diaper. Recently, she sit on our bed & change without putting change mat below lor. than on off sit n fold BB diaper cloth & cloths.. sometime she just sit n see BB who is slping on bed. My hubby see liao face black black lor. I also dun like & just ytd she half lie down to see BB got urine or not.. wah! i am so afraid lor when ytd she say my mom upstair slping = nobody slping this bed hor than she sit on the bed half lie down! i stare at her.. than lucky mom came in. Phew!

Second night hubby gave him 120ml and he fell asleep inhis cot on his own. Last night I gave him 100 ml and he got up after 10 minutes whimpering then escalated to hungry cry.
Conclusion to me, must give him 120ml

My CL not happy liao... cuz she climb up & down get EBM. Just now ask her bottle 3 left how much she keep saying feed her wat i pump. Bottle 3 tonight must use but i wan see left how much. she dun wan to check insist bring up warm it or pour 50ml up & warm it. can bargain one lor... I got pay her leh. she do lesser chores liao (no need wash my cloths) still bargain. irritating!
Now my CL super.. now she go test my warmer. I told her how to press she still dun get it than anyhow 50ml drink she press 85ml than say eh temp ok leh. i try temp like abit cold she say OK leh! I ask her go warm again lor at rm temp.

Sito: I had similar experience but yet to find out the real root cause. At first we thought it is because we bottle feed him with EBM at night but after testing we realized that is not the reason. My boy started getting cranky and need to struggle for an hour before he will latch. It started after I start drinking Yomeishu at night just before I sleep. I drank for 2 nights and my bb boy was cranky for the 2 days after I drank the wine. After I stopped drinking, he seems better. But we are also not sure if that is the reason but I don’t dare to drink for the moment. Another possibility is that my bb do not get hungry so fast nowadays. Last time we feed him every 3-4 hr. Now when we try to latch him ard 4 hr, he will reject and sometime will fall asleep. So nowadays, after trying for sometime if he don’t want to latch then we just let him rest and try again in half to an hour time. Usually by then he can latch better.
Julie: my boy like to poo again after we change his diapers too. Happened quite a few times already. He usually do that while I am feeding him and I know he poo cos can feel it and he also farts very loud haha. Nowadays we will wait for a while after he poo before changing unless he crys and gets cranky.

Phy & Jolyn: Ur BB how many days old? Mine only like 11days but his feeds are funny. Sometime can 2hr - 3hr (rarely) and often is 1hr to 1 & half hr will ask for Milk.

Suika: Mine poo quite often & Pee also. once pee or poo must change if not he cry until face red & frown until the forehand very white like blood clog cannot pass through.
