sweetkiss: Regarding TMC, I also had sore and injured nipples when i went there. With the right latch, you won't feel pain at all when baby suckles even if ur nipple is injured. That is because your baby is not actually suppose to suck on ur nipple but to suckle on the aerola too. When baby sucks on the nipple, it will cause pain and sore. U can see when u pull the nipple out of baby's mouth that your nipple shape become odd. That means baby is sucking on ur nipple and not latching correctly.



As for baby not sleeping at night.. mine is exactly the same. He sleeps peacefully and well the whole afternoon but come night time... he is a terror. Both my hubby and I are super shack due to this. He will cry for milk, after I feed awhile he straight away poopoo and rejects anymore milk. So we change his diaper for him. After we change, he cries cos he wants more milk. So I feed him and let him suckle. Finally he falls asleep on me and I put him down. 30 mins later he wakes up and cries for milk. I let him suckle and then he POOPOOs... rinse and repeat. its a cycle until 4-5am then he finally falls into deep sleep probably due to his own exhaustion! We also got to change like 3-5 diapers throughout the night. Its been like this for past 4 nights. Super tiring!

 


Cham lor.. just now went to check up gynae was saying dun do VE dun wan disturb BB then when she scan say "OMG! BB 3.3kg big leh (the built)" then say say i do VE check cuz not engage (I think she meant "I wan ka jiao ur BB faster labour do VE")...



she say next check up if still dun wan come out gonna induce cuz she scared later too big hard to natural... Haha... BB very comfy in stomach. She also ask me can dun eat too much or not. lol..

 
sillyhp: i dunno want to boost my supply or not! cos to me now the qty is manageable. just that one of my breast just regained its "form" and started producing milk again. i am always lazy to pump if baby did not wake me up, so when i wake up 3 hrs later without pumping, my breasts really engorged like nobody's biz..

my bb nite process is like urs. cry, feed, fart, poo x 2 cycles then settle down a short while with her eyes WIDE open throughout. then i cant latch on so always have to hesitate whether i need to warm another bottle of milk or not.. warm already, she might only drink half.

 
Phy: hai.. i really hope is my turn SOON, i don't wish to induce/ caesarean T_T Very sad to hear that i am STILL 1cm dilated after 3 weeks, no progress! The only progress is that bb head is fully engaged, gynae said her head is very low now.. and weighs 3.2kg, she said still ok, also made an "extra" appointment with her on coming monday, in case bb is still inside.. sigh.......



Hubby then asked whether there is any other natural way to induce, gynae said "have sex or nipple stimulation", i am really going to try lor, hahaha.. tonite, wed, thurs, fri every day must do!!

 
sillyhp, same ! i also felt like running away during my #1 time. so sad.



this time round, i guess the attitude to do eveyrthing differently that makes me happier and milk pdn just follow when u feel happy. just start of day 6, my pump hits 140ml easily on top of latch almost full time. so i am happy to take things easy

This Thur seeing gynae, wanna check my option if going for induction but not dilate yet, will I end up with e-Csect or not.

As far as I know, Dr Chua is very pro natural... she would in her best capacity help u deliver naturally. I asked her if I would end up with e-Csect, she told me she wouldn't allow that to happen wor [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]

 
Shann: I mean urs got engage very gd. Mine not engage at all. Me 37wk 6days.. next wk if no news again will plan for induce.



Junie: My EDD is 28 Jul. 1 more day than you. But me got alot discharge since pregnant till now but no bacteria according to gynae. Me next tues see gynae then might also plan induce if BB still not out.

 
I went for my checkup last night. Bb alr weighinh 3.4kg. My Edd is this sun. Hopefully bb wont be too big when he finally decided to come out! Gg for another apptm this sat should he still decided to stay inside by then and would discuss abt opt to induce with gynae..thats the last choice le.. Ya bb alr in engage position long ago. But engage also no use, no contractions, no nothing. My gynae didnt wan to do VE check. So dunno if i have started to dilate or not. Only recently starts to feel cramps. But nothing else other than that.

 
looks like only a handful of us are still waiting...



think mine worse leh...cuz still not in engaged position. No symptoms, etc...tho' good thing is BB's still very active.

Pushing har? Just remember to push like you constipated big time and trying to push the poo out! haha, that's how I push my little one out this time. Must ask nurses if you are pushing correctly or not... BB can't seem get out, then use vacuum cup lor... I did that for #1 coz I didn't know where to push plus dead tired after 18 hours... Episotomy, I tore a bit this time.. think coz #2's head is smaller than his kor kor's [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]

Go do the perinal massage. should help in preventing tear.. don't worry lah, even got tear, she'll order the salt bath for your wound to heal faster [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif] Scared of pain thereafter? Pop painkillers!

Coz hor, remember she had to go on leave? Well, my Edd is during her absence wor...after discussing with hubby, we decided to induce coz BB is 39wk ++ already and I won't feel comfortable with the standby gynae.

 
Phy: Think should be able to ren since BB not engage.

Junie: Oh. Tot same gynae as me.



Suntan: My BB not engage until now. So i think Gynae purposely do VE and today push until very inside lor. pain & uncomfy. Just now abit bloodly discharge but now ok.

 
Phy, haha yah but i also don't know how to do with a big belly so xing ku! hubby now suddenly said everything also can eat liao, even laksa or curry, heard can trigger contraction ma.. everything ok now so happy!

Wondering any exercise can help move BB to engage position or not?

Heard that by walking more, cos gravity mah, would "guide" bb's head down even further and thus into the pelvis to get engage. Can try. Me for i scare i have not dilate yet. Tried doing squats but now my knees cannot take my weight. So after i squat, i cant get up! Very painful..

 
Shann: Same fate sia all the late Jul BBs. Just went toilet abit blood discharge again.. dunno need to go KKH or not.. First BB really dunno wat to do.

Junie: I heard VE will lead to early labour.. so i think She wan to 'ka jiao' BB lor purposely insert the VE equipment inner to like signal BB down? Haha. Yah! Mine not engage at all lor.



Base on gynae check, inside 1cm dilated but BB not engage. 38wk 6days lor.



Suntan: My gynae also said walk more squat more easy labour but din say will guide to engage..

I also now ask me walk or squat like no energy lor.



Was talking to my hubby say i need go out shopping.. then walk 5min go find place sit & eat dessert then walk again & repeat.. later BB even bigger...

I heard that squats helps in dilation. Not sure abt engage position. Wah, at least u can do 10 at a time..i cant do even 2 or 3...faint.

 
ya, squats supposedly help in dilation but my gynae said given our tummy's weight, squats may cause more pain on our knees...so she just asked me to walk more (but i'm lazy..haha)



sun_tan: i think gynae uses finger to do VE leh..quite pain :S

I tried to do full squats. Not sure if half squats is effective or not. But seriously, kneecaps very painful.

good weather for confinement but not good when washing/drying bb's clothes.

 
Suntan: use equipment. like plastic erm abit bigger than POLE size.. then inside got a yellow liquid then gynae will push in.



Junie: ya lor... ML now. Wanted rest abit before BB pops. Furthermore, at work they keep giving me alot to do plus boss also ok because i very responsible so.. u know la. if give others later anyhow do one. sigh~ So hubby ask me go ML first if not i everyday very tired.



Squats:

I dunno i can do or not. walk also hard.. walk abit only i will get dizzy..

 
Ceres>> Same here...wanted to take a break from work cuz alot to do and sometimes I prefer to do it myself, faster & others anyhow do, mess it up, ahaha. I brought my work laptop back...so though now on ML, I still log on to check/reply my office emails.



Else nothing to do at home, except, eat & sleep.

I went out for a few times last week and yesterday, then bb from half engaged to fully engaged le..



Got GSS too hehehe..

 
Junie: Wah! I dun wan to work at hm. Do my own stuff. But i got register a test so need to study, on off spend time reading up. Exam ard end Sept.

Hai i also wish to go shopping but nowadays, can't really walk much. After an hr or so, legs will start to give way le. Wonder where is JP n DQ? Dun see them in forum le.

 


Last Sun went Vivo, walked 1hr non-stop...so tiring.



Maybe starting from tdy (hopefully weather is good) evening, will try to walk 30mins.
