started giving YK 1 rusk (with BM/FM, fruit juice or just plain water) 1.5hour aft his 1st milk feed. sometime will give 1 scoop of cereal w/the abovementioned too. consider B.fast?

bb's weight:
YK doesn't seems gain much weight after 6 months old. no more chubby, in fact i find him SLIM :p
currently, 4 milk feed+1 snack+2 full meal.

same, me telling myself he has higher metabolism compare to my #1 (JK).
hopefully YK can hit his triple birth weight when he turns 1yo

as long child is healthy, we are contented.
YK 7th & 8th Teething 1/2 shown, this time these 2 teeth seem take longer time to FULLY shown.
 
augleo, how to prepare the stuffs for bb to pick? seems fun. anyway, if there r any electronic device, zach will confirm pick tt. hahaha. his current fav is iphone, then tv remote, then air con remote.

snowpear.. try adding fruits to the morning brekkie.

Ainsley Yip (ainsley_yip) : i got smaller ones. Got 1 very cute whereby the gal wearing a crown with a puppy. The base is quite small. Maybe i take some photos or i see if i can find the pic online and post it here.
 
thanks pauline & snowpear! Will tay again next month. Menses very unstable after giving birth, hopefully it will come again on 01st Nov. then can track Ovulation.

hehe.. I dun buy lottery tickets, so not very sure. but I always hear my old folks saying, "alamak, zah4 zai1 buei3 ibet toh4 ho4 (buy ibet better).." , or " xiao liao.. buei3 kee2 buei3 toto (forgot to buy toto)"...
the way I see it, sometimes u buy this set of lottery, it turned out opening other sets.
so hor, might as well ask our akk to pick the "divine" set also. ya hor, will add that in, no number how to buy.. hehe...

no prob, and thx so much for the link. I am not aware of these learning system. ours is still the old-school style, watch educational vcd/dvd and books only. this is interesting after having a quick look at the website. I will share with my wife to see if we would like to get a similar one also. Hope it's not too expensive.

My boy takes rusk too. Its more like a snack to me instead :D
But my boy doesn't know how to self feed himself. Still need me to hold the rusk and feed him. He doesn't seem to know what to do with it hahaha....

It's such a blessing to conceive without planning.
It's really very stressful to have it plan and to go thru the disappontment months after months.

Now, I am using the ballon Pamper Active for bb.. I like the stretchy waistband...
 
May, i not v sure leh. Think u Can ask calamari. If i am not wrong, she bot it before. Or u can try this forum for 2nd hand materials. Suggest u read up for more info 1st coz the stuff are not cheap!

For mummies finding maids, u intend to use Fili, Indon, Myanmmar, Sri Lankan? Now its super ex to use Fili maids and so now i learn to give in and close one eye with my fili maid...argh.

shokel, i'm in the same boat. nvr had accurate menses b4 n gynaes always say it's tough for me to concieve. u are very lucky leh. i tried for 2 yrs before a bb comes along.
 
einnoc.. i also same as u. my menses also not regular.. but i think i kenna within 1 week. i was so shocked cos i 'buffered' 2 years to get preggie.
 
Tats why I'm so surprised tt I'm preg, I heard from ppl menses not zhun will be harder to conceive , I still plan to start trying after 2 yrs after my customary ... Who knows kana when gg for HM.. Think go holiday easier to kana... Wahag..

shokel, i purposely went for hols leh still no news for the past 2 yrs. Then when i gave up trying....bingo. So, my bb is made in sg.

my menses also irregular.

btw, i wanted a gal and counted the dates but in the end, got a boy! so i tink the counting date method dun work for me!

i recommend vcare/ rejoice maid agency..
they are under the same company.
u can go to a few agencies and u will know the difference.
this agency's maid are of higher quality and standard. they provide more details of the maids and u can do phone/ video interview.
some of the other agencies dun allow interviews, or provide blur photos of maids or very little details of maid.
good luck in your maid searching!
 
haha...me also neva plan for no. 1, mine is shotgun somemore! lol. was in a shock to know that im gonna be a mummy...not v prepared but dun wana abort....Now wana plan for no. 2 abit hard too coz menses irregular due to bf-ing....I think i will kena baby Gal again due to irregular menses.
 
alicia: I heard from my agent that nowadays need to pay one time fee of $700+ to get in a fili maid. And their pay per month is minimum $550 with 4 days leave a month. If you want to go through backdoor (i dunno what he means :p + no leave), you have to pay about $1200 one time fee. Personally I don't trust Indons so I only take Fili maids.

may: i did Glenn Doman with my girl before but when she turns 9 months old, it is very difficult for her to concentrate on the flashcards and she seems very disinterested. So I sold the whole set away. I don't deny that Glenn Doman method is good as I have seen my friend's kids who can recognise words at the age of 1+ but you must have a lot of time to do this method with your child and be very disciplined to do your own homework and tracking. It was too much for me to handle as a FTWM, with English, Maths and Chinese. My mom was doing it for me in my absence at work but in the end, ended up playing the cards with her :p haha

cala: ya, now fili maids r so exp! Last time when I had one during my schooling days, my mum paid her $400/mth only and she worked for us for 12 yrs. Now she wana work for me but she is old already so I dun wan...

My gal can understand 1 chinese word - 'Pai shou' so amazing. when I ask her to pai shou, she will clap her hands...when I ask her to clap, she will also clap. Maybe shichida really works...
