i just managed to book function room today for 13 nov... yeah!! can start sending invites and doing some planning le... will be trying to cram some weekends to do up a photobook for her birthday also hopefully in time...

I'm not sure, just my guess. Btw, if sharon dun need the SS soft toy then can i get it from u? I'm at JW every sunday. Need it to deco the cake table. Too many carebears, need more SS.

karen: aiyo not really. So rush leh. My meetings start at 8am and end at 7pm for 2 days. Quite siong. Not to mention I had a lousy flight there. The A380 I was on had a sudden drop in altitude. Our drinks flew to the ceiling. Coffee and wine splashed all over some people. My bum was practically lifted up from my seat for a few secs. A few people hurt themselves. At that moment, first thing that came to my mind is what if i had Noah or Kayla with me and they were not belted up. They would have flown! Scary! So parents, pls belt your kids up always in the plane!~

Seems like not many mummies like HK.

I neutral lah, actually initially wanna do a Mickey mouse theme de but is very common so i intend to do more "princessy" one. So i decided on HK.

Calamari : ya i actually sae your photo album that Kayla 2nd bday theme is HK. So sweet lor.

Ladies when do you think is the right age to put children in childcare huh? I dont have the heart to put my 1st dd to childcare lei. Im having a mindset, which is if got someone to take care of what for put in childcare right?? Ya is true that she can learnt something there, can teach at home also de right?? Am i right a not?? Can anyone advise on this?? Thanks!!

happymummy: i saw your FB message but couldnt answer in office cos office blocked any messages outwards in FB tsk tsk. I havent put Kayla in childcare yet cos I think she is a bit too young plus my mom is doing a fanatastic job teaching her + i want her to spend time with her brother. Most of her peers are already in childcare though so I think she is considered quite late oredi not going to school hehe, but its ok with me. For now she is attending weekend bilingual playclub in Julia Gabriel and she will be starting halfday playschool with Pat's Schoolhouse in Jan 2011.

happymummy, true lor but at home got too many distractions (VCDs, toys etc) and I got no energy to catch her. So I'm going to send my gal to half day CC next Jan. She'll turn 3 then. But she has been attending 2 hr playgroup at downstairs RC PG since she turned 18 mths.

Calamari : Cos her daddy wants her to go childcare to learn something. I have the same thinking with you actually. She is currently attending playgroup 2hrly daily.

Then weekend she is attending Shichida which i think is more than enough for her right?
What is the playschool? Same as childcare? Im interested to know ya.

Alicia, I agree with u....I feel bad too if to send both kids to care centre. I am planning to have a 2nd baby soon too...dun know how to cope. My first one currently taken care by my mother and I think she will faint if I tell her I pregnant again...not sure if she is keen to look after. Have u thought of engaging those babysitter? If lucky to find one that is committed then will be better cos yr 2 kids will then be together...
