Jeanie- me too hurt my wrist, seen sinseh but now still abit pain if I exert abit more force... Strain/sprain will take quite sometime to recover de... Zzzz

Joanne- yeap will let u know if I see any strapless one ;) Am currently wearing those tube with padding as strapless bra cause am always wearing tube top/dress, find it easier to bf... Went several maternity wear shops also can't find leh... Then if wear those normal bra, the wired make it uncomfortable loh.

Btw I drink decaf. Starbuck coffee n not more than 2 cups of tea each day, as long as moderate should be fine ;)
 
Eunice Chia (uknees), i have the same prob. So now i leave the trays in the freeezer, i dun take it out to fill. I bring my milk that is expressed in bottle, to the freezer, slide the freezer out and pour it in, so the tray dun need to take out.

Gabriel (gabrielmum), the fastest way i think is not pumping, its direct latching if possible. I think drinking lots of fluid helps, but still BM is really come when baby suckle more. Tats what i think, i tink some girls here do pumping and they manage to increase Milk ss. I let the girls who do pumping and not direct latch to post their advice lah.

Girls, thanks for the concern, ya yesterday HB bring bb to bed for me to feed, change all the diapers, i just stay in bed. But my bb develop bad habit. Every 5plus am feed, she will want to latch drink and sleep beside me in our bed. 3 nites liao, if not she cry and dun wanna sleep. 1.5mths bb so clever...

Joanne-ya dun wear wired better although i do see some nursing bra come with it... they said gd for support but i dun find it comfortable

<font color="0077aa">Apr 09 moms hv seen me use Freshening brand alcohol wipes (70% Isopropyl Alcohol) 2 disinfect high-chairs &amp; table-tops b4 I put my boy in them. Actuali, I use A LOT of these coz itz veri effective to kill bacteria &amp; mold. I use them to clean new toys, wipe any work surfaces regularly, definitely on diaper-trays 2 b4 I put my bb on them… It also evaporates veri quickly so doesn't leave any residue or scent (unlike Dettol). Tho when u 1st open e wrap there is e alcohol smell (nt e drinking kind hor) BUT it dissipates fast. What I do is kp e kidz as far away as I kan when I'm using these wipes, dan clean oledi walk some distance away &amp; come back agn. Also, if I use it to clean anything dat made of fabric e.g. soft-toy, I leave e toy aside 2 dry for abt 15mins. More details available fr the links I've provided above. Alcohol wipes are also handy for spring-cleaning use 2. I use it 2 wipe any new utensil, wipe off mold on items kept in storage 2 long. Even toilet seats. But CANNOT use on any wooden furniture which is treated i.e. wood varnish kan come off...</font>

ivy, how many weeks is your daughter? my daugher also yest cranky, feed already keep wanting to feed .. 3am till fell asleep! dont know whether it is growth spurt but she just turn 5 weeks only. anybody here use yao lan? thinking of introducing ..hahah
 
eunice.. drinking cold drink no side effect rite.. does baby have colic more? husband dont like me to drink.. so feel bad to even think abt drinking since i am breastfeeding totally.. milk tray . ok i go do research

Faith, I am not sure abt colic... but i have taken cold drinks and my girl seems ok... i usually apply oil on her tummy whenever i change her diaper.. and i burp her with her lying on my chest. i find that the most effective way. so far so good for me.. maybe u can try half a cup or sip here and there just to test water?

cos my cousin jus told me i cant eat peanut butter cos they will lead to allergy in babies.. she asked me to avoid peanut products till bb at least 1 yr old...

Next wk is my CL's last wk n i cant wait for her to leave! haha. she has make my baby confuse with night n day...coz day time she off all the lights n curtains drawn den nite time when hb is back, she on all e lights. like tat how bb not confuse right? sigh, need to train baby back she cl leaves...
 
Dear mummies,

It had been a crazy morning till now. Just wondering did any of mummies suffer from gastric problems only after c-sect? My ordeal started 2 weeks after my c-sect. Initially, I thought it was the binder. But after removing the binder, i still suffer attacks twice/thrice weekly. I spoken to my gynae the last visit and he referred me to a specialist to check for gastric problems n gallstones. But the specialist is out of town till Feb.
Problem is, i been getting the pain since yesterday 7+pm and 1am+. It was so painful tat i was rushed to a GP at9+am this morning. Took injection n pills but i still feel the stomach sore &amp; painful when pressed. Should i go just go any hospital clinic instead? I have an appt with geneagle specialist on Monday noon though. But i'm afraid the pain turns worse tonight.
 
shokel, I've been eating peanut butter on bread since day one my boy is borned so far nothing leh...I also drink peanut soup so far so good.

Im actually at my mum place. But she isn't really helping except cooking for me and washing bb clothes. Cause she still need to look after my eldest boy and most of the time tey will juz go out n leave me alone at hm with princess.

Yeah... stomachache 1 2 go toilet also chiam. this morning tummy was aching so badly n she was crying loudly for her milk. and when she was sleeping soundly, i went to express milk.. less than 5 mins, she start crying.

im back from trip, sunburnt and extremely tired.. managed to maintain ss when im there but duno why come back, suffer from blockage and so difficult to pump milk out now... sob sob
 
faith, my baby is 6weeks going on 7. She started colic at 5 weeks, its quite bad, from gripe water, i today give ridwind. After give ridwind, she burp a super loud one, and farted big one with shit splatter all over diaper.. sigh poor girl and poor parents got to tahan her crying also.

Joanne, me too, my mom only buy me lunch, im alone take care of bb, every evening dying for hubby to come back soon, looking forward to weekend where he is around.. arbo go toilet also tough.. tat day she cry when i in toilet, tats where i gek sai and tear my stitch lor.. sigh...
 
Joanna, high 5! Totally agreed with you. Now a lot of things can't do in peace.

My pumping schedule in a mess. Had to depends on when my boy take his nap.
A few times I pumped half way have to stop coz he cried!

Is it becos ur milk ss increase? i wonder sometimes is it increase and need to output more thus block? That day i also suddenly block, lucky my bb suck it out.

There was once it was so bad that I cannot even stand and walk.. hb... need to hold me.. to bring me to see 24hrs GP.. and left the poor 2kids at home.. but we called MIL to rush over before we went off... cos she is nearby... and was so painful.. that I can't wait for her...

So, TBF mummies.. try not to go on diet yet.. cos we tends to be hungry easily... juz eat your regular 3 meals..

Ivy, same here. Only can go toilet when bb is zzz. Everyday use ultimate fast speed to shit. Thats why i can feel bit pain at my wound too. Ur bb colic getting better?

Roxy - Welcome back! I have been pretty much a silient reader and understand that you just came back from Bali and managed to maintain your milk supply. I will be going to Bali in March and I'm racking my brains on how to transport EBM back to spore (i intend to pump in Bali and freeze EBM). Do you express and dump? I feel very heart pain to dump EBM but dont know how to bring back frozen EBM...what did you do? Use dry ice?
 
I was also toying with Bali in March. But recently got terrorist attacks warning there, now thinking twice sighhhhh. Dunno where else short to go
 
Btw, siri/iris, haven't heard from u for a long time. When is our medela stuff arriving? It's been almost a month, really need the stuff urgently.
 

Jeanie, her colic on and off, my fren say once kanna colic will have it till 3 mths old. So i can only monitor, when i see her tummy big big, i give gripe water. If at nite super cranky means gripe water also no use, then i use ridwind. Hers so serious that ruyi oil is no use on her. I think ruyi oil is prevention, so mommies who bb hasnt had colic, please apply.

Calamari, seems like lots of pple looking for siri/iris, i hope nothing happen to her sia.
