hweiz, ur beehoon portion is for how many?? if we have a lot of mains.. like pizza, golden pillow, beehoon, then some just bring small bites, cos might be too much food.

same as me... after my daughter did the same as ur son for few days, she will start crying nonstop liao.. end up its wind building up which end up colic.. im not sure if urs the same lah. The reason why they keep want to suckle, i think also for comfort, cos they feeling unwell liao.

Sharon, use ruyi oil, use gripe water, burp, cuddle all useless lolz.

ivy - i cook approx 2 pack of beehoon, think can fill those aluminium foil tray. Enough??

hemmie - my boy also same fuss and arch his back when put on bed. Vomit after latching then seem hungry, gave him 50ml of fm also vomit out. dunno wat to do.

Tentatively, should be me + bb Ashton + #1 + maid. Hubby not sure.
As for food, can I tag along with someone first. Hard for me to get any food.

ivy, hweiz, calamari, does it mean that for normal babies, after nursing, they should look contented instead of fussing?
Want to gauge if i'm over-reacting or something's wrong with him. I suspect he got reflux.

first batch of nursing tea sent out just now, should get it tmr.. tmr will pack some more...will send out in batches.. sorry din have time to pack as nice as last time (last time got CL to look after bb hee) so i just took the sachets out and stuffed them inside the envelopes.. sorry so messy

genesis- i stop my girl from wearing mitten since 1st month, only let her wear at nite while she's sleep cause thro cut her nail but still quite sharp

i going from toa payoh, anyone need a lift? can fit 2 person i think, cos i sit behind with baby, hubby in driver seat. front sit one more, and back sit one more.

BUT PROB is i weekend car haha, hopefully by march sat can drive.
 
ivy- oh ya i help u decide on baked chicken wing, easier la, u no need do others, give other mummies a chance to do their specialty too :p hehe... actually i wana eat your baked chicken wings too ...wahahaha
 
miumiu (miuy), i suspect it was colic becos she was unconsolable, only suckle then keep quiet but sometimes also dun wanna suckle and just scream. She was not hungry, but tired, but yet can't sleep, she sound angry, and it will make mother feel upset, desperate. Anyway today went to PD, PD confirm she got a lot of wind, pok pok sound when he tap her tummy.. so i told my hubby i guess it correct.

(btw And i see the dunstan video, yes there was ek ek sound (got air need burp), and e-air sound (adominal pain) haha.)

Now i sound so ok hor, tat day when happen, i was so lost, no matter how i coax her, rock her she wont sleep. I almost wanna lock her in room and let her cry. I almost wanna throw her on bed, and leave the hse. I was depress, and if i dun try to calm down and figure out whats wrong, i probably go into depression. Thank god my gal fren call me and try to talk to me, all the way from AUSTRALIA haha.

BTW realise that colicky baby, if cuddle her upright tight tight to chest and walk around, will be better. Also my hubby put her in baby carrier (we use our fren pikkolo cos she forgot to bring home lolz), she also fall asleep. Once calm her down, if put rocker and keep rocking also can fall asleep.
 
Augleo (augleo), yes not dehydrated but at 2-3 weeks baby, my CL say rare case. Most tears ducts develop after full mth.

Ainsley, u got give gripe water, or rid wind? Did u rub ruyi oil too? Cos baby from 3rd weeks to 3 mths tends to get colic, 1 sales person at pharmacy told me, wind is so often in baby, say no choice.
 
ivy - oic.. tmr is my bb check up.. i will ask pd if my bb got wind.. cuz he is so difficult to burp.. sigh..

ainsley - mayb ur bb wans to be cuddled.. carry and pat pat her..
 
miumiu same same, started with her being difficult to burp.. she use to burp and fart, then suddenly no more.. then start to be difficult, must be carry, put down cry, then slowly become colic.. so while still early, give gripe water and ruyi oil, prevention better than cure lah.

sharon, dun have high expectation of my wings haha.. so so only nia, and also see heng suay.
 
ivy - sounds like my bb.. must be carried...put down a while will cry le.. that is colic?? alamak... but bb still got fart..

Btw i will like to seek advise do u ladies think ½kg cake is enough?? or should get 1kg?? If getting 1kg, another mummies still can tag with me.
 
miumiu, i use to apply ruyi oil every day.. but i think must do correctly. Experience mommy tell me - put 4-5 drops on palm, rub till palm hot, press onto tummy, and also rub downwards on tummy. Lastly also can put on sole of feet if want to.

I never use ruyi oil without gripe water lah, so dunno its the oil effective or gripe water. But i think not yet serious or colicky use oil can liao. anyway colic takes time to resolve, and will come on and off... she today still crying. ONly just now shit super a lot with a major fart that gush the shit upwards diaper, she seems better now.
 
mummies, my bb got rashes on his face. how? its milk rash huh? will go away anot? now my mum blame me say my body heaty so milk heaty so bb got rashes. she's like stopping me to breastfeed. say so troublesome, must wait for milk to warm up, frozen and refrigerate breastmilk still got nutrients mehz..

so unhappy =( and she's complaining to her friend now. very vexed!
 
Ivy- 1kg only $33 if I dun remember wrongly so 2 mummies share ard $8 plus still ok, cause see like quite alot of paticipants hehe but scare other mummies will bring too many of other food too ;)

Jeanie- the rashes is like pimple very common for baby, I checked with PD, just apply lotion, I tried it works
 
jeanie.. someone ever taught me to apply our saliva on the milk rash...

I tried before with #1 cos he has quite serious milk rash.... and it worked..

hehehe... you can try.. :)

regarding bb pimples... ariel had super bad pimples on her face...pimply n red, see already also feel sad for her.. i apply CB calendula cream, dr atopeace etc all to no avail.. then i rem the "wonder cream" that my auntie who's been a babysitter for many years bought for us..i only apply 1 time, her face lost the redness, 2nd time... pimples all gone and its smooth complexion, feel so happy.. this cream is really v v good, whenever my no1 had rashes, apply also immediately see effect but very exp, 1 small 50cent tub (1.5cm depth only) already s$22...



for fitti diapers, they called me and am delivering to my place tmr... thanks calamari for the contact


any mummies from jurong need a ride to the gathering? tink my car can fit 1 more mummy
