I plan to c-sec on 20Sept but I have yet to tell my gyane. Will be telling him this sat. Hope he agrees.

getting hungry easily these few days...slept at 12.30am and woke at 4.30am to pee...after tat cannot sleep liao coz stomach was GROWLING! ate 2 hard boiled eggs and had a cup of milo at 5.30am bt hungry again after an hr...

nw going to eat my big bah bao tat hub has brought for me juz nw...

itsy... better put the baby bath tub on the floor. safer. i started to bath my #1 one week after delivery, felt okie, no cramp or anything

princessxiaomei... can u imagine my MIL took away some ang pao $$ from the profit we earned from wedding dinner? we managed to "earn" profit mainly coz my hb side relatives were very generous. she said next time use that $$ to give ang pao to relatives when their children get married. thought we could cover cost for wedding package (-.-") my hb was fine with it coz his uni fee was paid by his parents, but mine i paid on my own. hmm...i also had honeymoon in Japan, hokkaido. which BTO u bought? me also in sengkang, but resales 4rm flat.

Sarah... if u are keen to BF, think u shd start as soon as possible. last time the nurse told me new born has about 3 days of reserve in the body, so told me not to worry if my milk does not come in the first few days, but still have to keep trying to latch. but if u are really worried, u can instruct the nurse to feed baby FM or glucose water. they put a tag on baby's bed to indicate

kiki... when u have blocked duct, u can feel a hard lump, and feel a bit pain. my baby also hiccups everyday, abt twice a day, for the past few night he hiccups at 12 midnight... make me become panda. for natural birth with epi, after epi was adminstered, then nurse will put the catheter and urine bag

michelle (mwerkz)... i went for overseas holiday for both pregancies (2-month pregnant for #1, and 6-month pregnant for #2), but need to ask gynae first, and one problem is that everything must be very careful. so less fun as compared to if i were not pregnant, many things i can't do and many food my hb forbids me to eat or only can eat a little bit (>.<)

i know ur qn is directed to sandwich but i kpo.. hehe.. you should go F&E, rent a car and drive in NZ.. then with ur children, it's more convenient this way too, can stop as and when you want also. Child-friendly wise, i didnt really take note of that lah but not a very crowded place to be in.

Congrats, my dear! Your bb really came out at least 3.5kg lor! Happy or not?

So, how was it without the epi? Not too bad, right? Very very proud that you were able to go without it!! *applause* Take care!!

Simplest solution to engorgement: Latch bb on and nurse often. The first couple of days when you get engorged, sometimes won't be able to pump anything out. I also experienced that just last week. Feels very heavy and uncomfortable, but can only pump a pathetic 40ml (from both breasts in total!). Try to use hot compress before pumping, will aid in milk letdown so you can extract more milk and ease the engorgement.

Since you've already scheduled your C-sec, then it's good that you're trying not to think about it. Just let things take their own course, and I'm sure everything will turn out fine. Will pray for your speedy recovery too.

same as me. everynite juz before it rains, bb will kick me to wake me up, den i will toilet. den must sayang him back to sleep. think he's afraid of the thunder n lighting. so he kick me. make me loose sleep for 2days in a row liaos. from 345 till 545 before i manage to pacify him n fall back asleep myself -_-

Hi everyone!

Congratulations to all who have popped!

Sorry I did not manage to update earlier. I had to go through urgent c-section with epidural on Thursday 20 Aug due to sudden rise in my blood pressure. On Wed 19 Aug I went gynae checkup, he found my blood pressure high & called me to check in that night itself at KKH for monitoring. Even though scheduled c-sect date was Fri 21 Aug, he decided I had to deliver by Thursday 20 Aug early morning due to high blood pressure.

My twins :
Boy : Rezza weighs 3.55 kg
Girl : Hannah weighs 2.525 kg

Sorry all if I do not come in often to see your messages as I’m super tired and twins are a real handful. It’s a real challenge but I hope I can be strong enough to handle this especially when my husband returns back to work next week. Am staying at my mum’s place for this confinement period and thankfully my mum-in-law comes to visit & help out as often as she can!

congrats to u too!! and wow! 3.5kg for a twin is a very very good weight! i have never heard of a twin so heavy before! and ur girl though 1kg behind is still v good and healthy weight. now u know why u been feeling so uncomfrtable and so heavy. they both are really a "weightful"!

hvg twins is really a handful but thats just the intial part. im sure u will enjoy them lots when they r growing up. just bear with it few mths ok.

as for engorgement, yah just warm towel, massage and latch on a lot. its uncomfortable n painful beginning part. if not can use cold cabbage also but dun use it for too long, will cause milk supply to drop.

went for my gynae visit this morn. baby is already engaged weighing almost 3.5kg and im 2cm dilated. tomo i will be 38 weeks. he predicted somewhere early next wk but i still hoping for 1 more week!! my gynae will be away from 9sept for a long break so i hope i will be able to deliver b4 then. when i asked the nurse who is his replacement, i was told its lisa chin! and i tot of flower and her bad experiences. i dun want to have to be delivered by her! but gynae v v sure that he will deliver my baby.

Congrats on your "double happiness"!! Your boy is a whole kg heavier than your girl! I'm quite surprised leh. Always thought twins' weight wouldn't differ much from each other. But I presume both babies are doing fine? You take good care of yourself, k? Can rely on your mom and MIL to help with the 2 babies while you recover.

Just came back from gynae appt - did my VE. Gynae mentioned cervical is soft. Baby should be arriving anytime before 5.9.09. If there is any contraction or show must admit immediately. I think can't wait till 090909 date le.....

i wont be doing any wardrobes for other rooms except MBR cos my current one is new one.. and will be put into my baby's room. Cos if hb and i share this wardrobe, confirm not enough but it's more than enough for a baby. i will want to do grilles cos whenever i see flats without grilles, my legs turn wobbly. I have fear in height! hahahahaaa.... i think my door is fire rated? I also not sure leh.... i try to burn it when i get my keys to test? Wahahahaahahaa.....

Yah loh. I was thinking not to loan more than 30K.. keep it within 20-25K of loan from relative else really take super long to repay!!! That's why we only emphasize on simple ones...

of cos must have quality.. or else i think not worth doing any reno then.. hahahahaaa..... furnitures also getting those very basic ones first... actually we are fine with premium or standard.. we not that fussy... can pay off with CPF as much is the best.. but again, at that time no premium flats to choose from... and its our first try to ballot for the flat.. since we are able to get a unit of our choice, we take it loh.

Sorlee lor...it was the VE pain tat i felt *LOLs*

i haven experience contraction pain yet, i got BH, i got Pain. when i have menses kind of pain, my tummy dun have BH, and when got BH, my tummy not pain.. so both BH & menses pain come together its contraction pain ya?

anyway BH nt painful de mah...somehw to me juz uncomfortable nia lor coz tummy stretch and expand till become rock hard...

bt wif real contraction the interval is so frequent tat i can hardly catch any breath...the tummy become even tighter and come pain 2gether wif pain and u'll haf the pang sai urge... u'll feel pressure pressing agst the V area, feels heavy...

im only 2cm dilated. but gynae said that cos my cervix v "experienced" already mah. burst water bag sure start contractions but i dun want lah.

yah my gynae replacement is lisa chin!! in any case i wont be delivered by her lah cos gynae v v confident i will give birth before he goes on leave. even if not, i will rather ask him burst my water bag induce contractions than to let someone else deliver my baby lo
