Actually he also cannot handle her, You know men... Cannot stand woman to nag. I don't nag at him, I just voice out my views when I analyze situations. But she always complain that I don't talk to her, don't this don't that to her whenever he go tell her what is in our minds... He also wanna get over it. We're actually hiring more people now before I take my rest and prepare myself for my BB to arrive. =3

my 2nd nephew is a monster baby, imo. 3.8kg i think.. and he always look like he is frowning lo in early months.. my mum say must be my sis keep frowning or troubled during pregnancy (she only discover she preggie @ 5mths) hahaa...

Mine was mostly heat rash, although I did get a light case of hives on my arms. The GP I went to also advised for me to stop my confinement food, or to remove the alcohol/ginger content in it. Which was why I terminated my confinement food catering lor. But I think your case is way worse than mine!

I dun think there are other warehouse that is open to the public to buy their stuffs in loose qty. So far, I only know toyogo has this. I tried to ask the supplier who stocks the ALGO Stockers.. but they say they only sell in bulk n normally to retailers. I suggest if u dun want toyogo, u can just go Giant, or NTUC to get the other brands ba.. Some are selling cheap as mentioned by the mummies here in the rhread.

which was $900++...except for dunno what $90 have to be in cash.. i think its the PD fees...

Shelled: Is it worth to order? It's super ex! But I remember my MIL didn't cook fantastic food for me, no soups at all for my #1 as she had no idea what to cook. That was why I am considering. The menu looks tempting from Natal Essentials & New Baby.

Michelle: I considered hiring a CL b4 but i hv a domestic helper n heard many horrible stories abt unreliable CL. Thus, I dropped the idea of getting a CL.

erhmmm...think tis is personnel preferences lor...some mommies prefer playpen whereas some mommies prefer cot for some reasons...
for me, i tried both the cot and playpen and ultimately find the playpen a better choice...
my 1st gal sleeps in cot. and for cot, we definitely gt to place cot bumper, otherwise when bb starts to roll, might hit head accidentally and cld be painpul since cots are made of wood...however if there's cot bumper, i wldn't be able to see or check out my gal at night while i am in a lying position...coz the bumper will obstruct the view...need to get up, lazy wor...
as for playpen, my 2nd gal sleeps in it till she's abt 1yo then she refused to sleep in it anymore...so it was passed down to my 3rd...my 3rd gal sleeps in it till she is two...she didn't protest abt nt wanting to sleep in it bt i wanted her to sleep in her new bed when we shifted hse coz i think it's time for her to sleep in bed...
anyway, playpen juz like cot, can adjust to different heights...when baby starts cruising, i will lower the height so that when they are in standing position, they can only peep out fr their playpen. even if they are in a sitting position, 2 sides of the playpen are of see-thru netted material...so even if baby is sitting down, i can still see whats baby doing in there without getting close...
durability wise, it served us a few yrs and when i gt it dumped coz i tot my 3rd will be my last child...the playpen are actually still in gd condition de...its nt a expensive playpen anyway, less than S$150 i think...

It's not advisable to bottle feed BB in e 1st 2 mths while you are trying to establish yr BM supply. If you are taking 4 mths maternity den slowly introduce bottle feeding bout 1.5mth to 1mth before returning to work. If possible, let Daddy have the honor of bottle feeding BB instead.
Do not restrict time on or off the breast according to the clock. Supplemental bottles, be it water or formula & pacifiers will interfere with milk supply so avoid if possible. Remember the more BB nurses, the more quickly yr milks supply will come in. And hor take plenty of fluid & have enough rest, steal nap when yr BB is resting.
Try to xpress every 3hrly if possible @ work or @ least twice. Latch as often as you when @ home to maintain yr milk supply upon returning back to workforce.
Last but not least confess Genesis 49:25.

Like you, we are also hesitant with CL, cos alot of horror stories and our 3rm flat not conducive to have someone else live in with us. So we opted for catering instead lor.

J was fed from breast and bottle (because sometimes I sleeping and my hubs will give him EBM) but I believe as long as in the early days you latch BB on as much as possible, they will develop a natural preference for breast instead of bottle. They'll just take the bottle cos they're hungry. But it's always good to minimise the use of the bottle because it's been said that milk flows easier from the bottle, then if BB is lazy, they'll naturally prefer bottle cos no need to suck so hard to get milk.

My sleep quality has been going down, and therefore ytd and today been waking up late! No matter what position I assume, it's just not comfy!! I feel like my tummy's in the way of me getting good sleep, and it's getting a bit frustrating.
And for the last few days, I have this very sore and tight feeling in my lower tummy once I wake up. I have to sit around and stone for a while before I can properly start my day and do housework.
Anyone else having the same issues?
