i think this model is not the slimmest one, mine is 0.35L which is the shorter version of this.
its as fat as the wide mouth milk bottle

height is 23.5cm. 0.35L's height is 18.5cm.

the 0.25L one is 6x5.5x20(cm). this one is the slimmest. but 0.25L very little rite?

i like the brown too...the blue is quite striking if u dun mind hahaha...

I'm using 0,5ml tiger brand vy good during carefour sale oli $28 if i remember correctly...i bot one le gourment de not as good..i did a experiment Tiger can keep the water hotter & longer.

it's $32 from bp. but dunno whether should buy or not. my hb say jus ask for hot water in japan. if not just use normal temp water to make his cereals. we're onli buying for this trip leh.

yah! yah! I like the 0.25L one! so slim.

that what my hb said lor... 0.25L so small, silver one so common, so I got sold into buying the 0.35L blue one.

zen, buy one since not vy ex esp weather in jap is cold in Oct/Nov. Pegsfur shared wif us japan not vy common to serve hot water. It's good to have one..I got 2 lo hahaha
 
kiki, tat time i wan to buy the tiger 0.35ml my hubby also told me get the 0.5ml de...but ok la...cos soemtimes go out one whole day esp when i in HK tat time...

no brand lah, but should still be good to keep warm and just for a trip should be ok.

If you dont get those branded type, usually $10+ can get one 0.5L type also.

don't get non branded ones. Some have metallic taste in them. I used many non branded ones and all taste metallic.

at first I thought it's normal since all like that. Then after I got the tiger one it doesn't have that taste.
 
I bought a 1L non brand de..its no good lor..
Does not keep warm for long, and its a mistake to buy such a big one, its so heavy, very tall and bulky to carry around.
Have use it oni once or twice only.
Agree that its good to invest in a good one, like Tigers ( ive been using the food jar and I can say tats the best buy ).
Thinking of buying one 0.5L instead but still looking around, waiting for offers..heehee

zen: the middle one is nice.. but if kena scratched will the paint work come off and show a obvious scratch mark and show the shiny silver beneath?

BTW, agree with mashy not to get non-branded one. It cant maintain the temperature of the hot water for long. I'm using La Gourmet for storing baby food and hot water. Very good.
 
hmm actually i am usin a non branded 1 from NTUC not no metallic taste leh only $13+ i tink made in Jap cant remember the brand i tink start with En sumthing...

not the FM prob.. i tried mamil Gold, friso n Enfa liao..all the same more like he dun like milk even the 1st feed in the mornin he can only drink 60ml n if i add to cereal he ok..
 
60ml? vy little hor..or u wan to try Pediasure or fresh milk?

I still prefer them drink more milk. Jovia now taking 3 times milk ard 500ml per day.
 
piggytoh, I store hot water morning go church at 8.30am come back home around 7pm, water still very hot. One thing to make sure, some times it has defects. What I did immediately after I bought home was to test it immediately. If the temperature does not last long, should go exchange immediately. BTW I also bought a tigar thermal flask and I dropped once on the floor only and hot water cant last long. I use it to store normal temp water. It's best to buy from department store cos can exchange.
 
yeAh mine is a non branded flask from NTUC. Won it in a lucky draw... serves me very very well and can keep the water hotter compared to my friend's branded one..

ya i also hope he can take more milk but bobian i try to force him he jus dun 1... will try fresh milk soon really headache.. cos nowaday he jus not keen in food when he see me eatin he wil come n open mouth but after only a few mouth he dun 1.. wun buy any more other FM to try cos not FM prob when i dream feed him he can finish wor.. but when he awake he wun wan all..
 
As previously I need the hot water to warm up EBM, thus need really hot water.
My non brand flask did me no good, was out for oni 3-4 hrs (we poured boiling hot water in it), was only warm when pour out to heat up the milk.
End up still need to get hot water from whevever we were...
Guess its like buying electronic goods, heng suay ?..
 
hmm i also notice when the hot flask is full with hot water it can last v long but if not full or half full it wun last long..

at least your boy still can accept dream feed. I try to feed my boy at 11pm and his expression like I try to poison him! I dare not push him too much later he wake up fully, I will have more headache!

so you will lift your boy out from his bed or let him lay down and drink?

for 1st 2 feed he lie down n drink for last feed i will carry him n feed i notice he will drink more when he half sleep n me rockin him a little to distract him... ur boi also dun like milk?

hmm... I thought we are not suppose to heat EBM in really hot water?

Anyway, I have a friend who will bring those really old type of thermal flask... like those used in dimsum shop, with glass mirror inside. She say those are the best!
so I guess up to individual preference.

like your boy lo... if mixed with cereal he is ok, but in a bottle can only drink 30-60ml. with magmag can take about 100ml.
My boy will take about 500ml if I include those hidden in the cereal.

why didnt I think of that! then my boy can have really fresh and hot boiling water every time!
travel kettle is light but bulky though...

this pine garden driving me crazy, they said due to copyright issue they cannot print icing image of ben10. Ok so I asked her for opinion how to do the side of my 2 tier cake she said dunno... hello I thot PG charging me artistic charge but how come I must tell them step by step what to do? ARGGhhhh!!

But the water need to be hot, not warm as that would take like forever to warm up the milk.
We packed boiling water but it oni turn out luke warm, not even hot lor...

But now i oni bring out food, no more milk as she drink oni in the morning and night
Plus hot water is easily available from all eatery here..so no problem =)

I thought no manufacturer will tell us the max to drink since it will affect their business mah...
so dont know why dumex say 600ml max?

Saw some discussion on thermal flask..

I have a 0.5l tiger one. Very good! Got it at $20 on sale. I recommend not to get colored ones. The paint chips n peels n u get flakes in thebag, on your hands, etc. Very gross!
 
Kiki, i bringing a travel kettle for my Japan trip cos i also stay in hostel in case they dun provide la also need to boiled water to made milk/drink for Jovia & etc.

I've a question. I bought a Sophie Giraffe from a store at paragon many months ago at around $39. Recently my girl's Sophie went missing n I happened to see a BP selling ex-stock n I bought it at $32. When I received it today, I notice the size compared to the one missing is different. The missing one has longer neck, bigger size, lighter dots color n softer rubber. The new one I bought from BP has darker dots color, harder rubber, neck shorter,... Errr not sure I get a fake one har? Geess...

Hehe I alsobrought a traveling kettle for my trip to malacca. I even brought rice cooker, 1L thermos, 0.5L thermos, wash basin, knife, rice, etc! The whole boot n front passenger seat were full haha
 


I see so many of u making plans to go japan and talking abt winter wear.. I no longer need to be envious, i going hk in dec!! Not winter but its cold so i got excuse to buy thicker clothing for shayna!! I think its abt 15degrees then?
