BabyS, are you still using it?
the flip side is some babies might not like to shower lying down. another option is you get an anti slip shower mat, baby can sit and very portable
 


i have this since shayna was born but never let her use it, cos when she lies on it, the cloth sags, and she's touching the floor, as good as sitting on the floor.

dolce: since its only 3 days why dont u just quick quick bath her or wipe with wet towel? Cos to inflate and deflate the tube a bit shiong also..

Cos I have plan to bring her further for more days...BUT thats only a plan still, nothing concrete yet..
So thought since that its good to invest in a portable one..

But by the time my plan finalise, maybe she can stand in the shower already...AHAHAHHAHAA...
Like tat time plan my honeymoon, till now still not finalise, think never will lor..haizz...

I agree with baby s .. just do a quick quick shower. I just brought ovann for a weekend stay and din prepare any bathtub for him. He cried a little when i shower him but i'm ok with it since it takes less than 5 mins to bathe him! If use tub, i'll probably need 10mins cos he's bound to play inside.

Oh, u going to batam? I stayed at Batam View Resort & Harris resort. Preferred Batam View cos we booked the villa instead of the hotel. Very nice scenery! Do let me know how's KTM cos my sis & I had wanted to do a ladies spa day there too.

pegs: i totally agree... it takes shorter to bathe them standing up than to fill up the tub with water and let them play inside!

nat can stand with support right? ur hubby hold the shower head (not too strong jet, then wouldnt frighten her) then u support her and u do the rubbing on and off of soap lor..

How much does it cost per night to stay at these two mentioned hotels?

If we dont know anyone there and have never been there before, is it advisable to book day tour or just go explore on our own? looks like a fun place to go wor..

I did a one week trial with them. Think 2 or 3 lessons. But it was long ago. U call them and ask? Actually gug and zoophonics use the same stuff but zoophonics is much cheaper. I thought they were good too.

BV resort was abt $200 per nite cos we booked the villa. Hotel rooms are slightly cheaper. U can check here http://www.batamviewresort.com/. Dun look at the published rate, u try to make an availability check and it'll show u the internet booking price, alot more cheaper.

As for Harris resort, i booked thru http://www.sunplanners.com/ and took their Spa package, cost $140 per pax inclusive of room & spa.

Actually it depends on wat u wanna do there ... both times we din really go around sight seeing/shopping cos we only stayed for a nite, dun exactly hv enuf time. Secondly, nothing to shop there cos the shopping centers are like those in S'pore 10 yrs ago, except maybe if u wanna buy groceries, den prob it's worth going to the supermarket. Not sure if it's true but i heard the diapers are cheap

But that was years ago .... i think they hv some mega malls now. Some people go crazy over the Polo outlets and buy alot but i read that the Polo there is not the same brand as Polo ralph lauren.

We went for seafood dinner (of cos!!) at this A1 foodcourt. It's like an open air hawker centre (think newton minus the tourist price) with alot of zichar stalls. Things are cheap too! We ordered steam fish, vege, stir-fried chicken, crabs and prawns, if i remembered correctly. Total less than S$50, including our beers

Happi: i tried to get from ck cos a few mummies got it from there. But they too have no more stock. CK and john little said they placed orders but never came.

I also looking for alternatives nw..

I didn't eventually coz my boy was running all over the place. I was so tired coz it's parent accompanied prog. While I think the curriculum is good, my boy was too active. So I sent him to a gym instead. By the time he's two, I wanted to get out of his sight. So eventually I sent him to kinderland which doesn't require my presence and freed me for 3 hrs.

yes, my boy was so active. I was so tired then. I even chose the gym prog that required the least of my participation which is jwt kids. The rest had too much lifting of babies. Like I'm the one going gym. That's why now u gals go for trials I also dun join. Coz I already know what to expect. Hahaha.

Jg is good but too expensive. I joined their hol prog once. Very fun. Cannot afford to sign up their regular prog tho.

yup preg with #2 now.. I tink many mummies here know alr Keke.. Ya my sil family have organic farm so now tt she gt baby she ask them bring in all these organic product gd for us haha ..

For mummies tryin to ttc #2 pls dun carry #1 or exhaust urself I tink I carry too much in early stage end up bleedin on n off for 2 wks almost threaten m/c..

thanks I also din expect so fast cos I not really ttc also my hb scare like #1 took nearly 2 yrs to strike so we jus BD unprotected n only once Nia n strike really caught me by surprise n I jus change job den I took 2 wks leave for bed rest while on probation .. I am only 10wks this wk..

he cried for a month! In fact, before we reached his school, he already started crying coz he knew he was going sch. But I heard from teachers that once I leave, he's ok already. Anyway he stayed there for a year until it was time to go preschool.

I tink so cos no more bleeding I alr told Kyler n he is not sticky with me at all when I told him sayang BB he will rub my tummy the way I show him v funnie..other time he will ignore me n play with his own toys but not easy la if u wan #2 ur hb help is really essential leh

piggy, when i had Ethan i also plan 2 years then thought i got no eggs, went to see gynae & ask me for some surgery but i didn't agree, then took some herbal concotion then viola..take care of yourself. another 3week to new trimester
