the jap nursin bra is quite cheap i mus say so it up to u cos for me hor my current nursin bra is gettin tight alr so after birth i definitely need bigger 1... if u scare dunno wat size to order maybe buy after u deliver? or u buy a few first? currently u wearin nursin bra?

Piggy, the design of the jap nursing bra look gd n i am really quite tempted.. gonna look thr the previous thread to find the link again.. din order anything last nite.. i tot of getting some underwire ones to wear.. btw, i am still wearing my normal bra, just use the extension, still fitting well. din put on nursing bra at all throughout pregnancy..

you are wrong leh...if engorge hor the milk keep leaking. I remember when I bring my #1 to PD 1st visit, I was only out for about 3~4 hours but the breast pad cannot absorb already my whole dress infront wet ar, damn malu

better dun buy underwire cos if engorgement it goin to hurt n block the ducts... i envy u lor... my boobs expand so much when i in 1st trim alr start wearing nursin bra liao...
maybe u can buy 2-4pcs la cos it really cheap... quite value for $$ somemore it arrivin in 2wk time jus nice

irene, i also dunno how to advise u cos i cldnt differentiate the BH from the contractions even on ctg.. felt the same - just like menstrual cramps. ur #1 took v long? was he induced or came spontaneously?
btw, mummies who have brestfeeding pillow, pls bring along to hosp when u deliver. it's super super useful! a lot better than using normal pillows to support cos no need to adjust here and there!
and while rooming in with bb sounds v nice, might be a gd idea to deposit bb in nursery at least at night so u can get some rest. last time for #1, bu she de return bb to nursery so room in 99% of the time. end up soo tired! this time smarter liao.. if its not feeding time, or if he poo, then back he goes to the nursery!

re breaking of water bag - my gyne used an amnio-hook. it's just a long plastic device. no pain when she broke the water bag, but of cos that's cos i was on epidural!
all the VEs and other nonsense they do in labour all became painless too! (dunno y but i found VE during labour quite painful the 1st time round).

Sianz .. dunno why my hubby is kicking up a fuss again on the H1N1.
I'm already bringing fwd my ML and next week is the last week that i'll be working. These 2 days he's still urging me to quit immediately when i've already told him next week is the last week already!!!! I've already don a mask while working and he's still freaking out at every H1N1 news on the tv.
It's really getting on my nerves ....!

your hb very concern about you and bb. We are high risk group mah. It's good to have some crisis awareness also lah... alot of singaporeans dont have lor, still walk around eventhough they have h1n1.
Anyway, I'm starting to consider not to have those full-month thingy, cos I scare people who are sick will come and carry my bb. My PIL sure will invite their whole village one... those people I dont know.

I understand his concerns but it's quite impossible for me to just quit immediately even though i'm only a contract staff. Furthermore he knows that the last week of the month is the busiest cos of the closing of the accounts, plus i have to teach and handover my work to my replacement mah.
Have already put on mask when working, told him my office is equipped with sanitiser and i've brought fwd my ML. Aren't these enuf to show tat i'm equally concern abt my health and bb's health? Sometimes, he's just over-reacting ... hiaz ... virgo ...!
Oooh .. i might not hold full-month party as well, probably will just invite close relatives for buffet at home. I was thinking put bb in pram in the house .. den whoever wants to see bb just push the pram to them .. dun let them carry .. hahaha

hb n i were talking abt H1N1 news too, i also mentioned " oh, the H1N1 is getting worst, got pple die already" but my hb told me thats becos those pple already have complication + H1N1 so .. thats y. mayb if ur hb talk abt it again, u tell him that?

seriously, i think your hb is just concerned abt u. Coz you're preg & now having GD. So that's high risk group leh. If u catch it, it's going to be very dangerous for both u and bb. So be nice to him ok? It shows how much he loves you and bb.
Many pp don't even get that from their hbs.

Afternoon mommies =) Just went to use dilute dettol solution and wipe Zachary's cot again. Also, lay all the toys to sun dry again. My nesting instinct is too strong, kept thinking have to clean this clean that!

irene, even now i think of the pain i shiver also.. thats why dun dare to consider going au naturale.. dunno how some pp actually say that the pain of childbirth is forgotten once bb is out..
so far still doing TBF in hosp.. its not too bad cos i just feed then return to nursery. that way i get abt 2 hrs rest in between feeds. figured that the nurses will just ignore him even if he whines between fees.. they only bring him to me if he is really upset and wailing. so better than letting him room in and get minimal/no rest..
u gonna opt for partial bf? tempted to do that so i can sleep thru at night, but then worry that if i dont latch regularly from the start, ss subsequently wont be gd?

this morning, i gave a new title to my hubby - "The muack muack monster". he scared Zachary donno he is kissing my tummy, so always muack until very loud hahaha
