dolcevita, hope u are ok now.. think dont stint on cab fares at this last stage of our pregnancy. cos of the h1n1, i've been cabbing everywhere i go. dun dare to think abt the cab fares i've chalked up
better spend few hundred on cab fare than few thousands if kena h1n1 and need to stay in icu.. *touch wood*
regg, how many wks are u? am 37wks and 2 days now.. so guess it's not exactly THAT early to be induced..
irene/celine, thanks.. but i'm not that excited abt being induced.. now v worried actually cos of the gp b strep news. sianz..
re gp b strep.. if u have this, pls make sure u get to the hospital asap once the contractions/show/waterbag bursts. cos it's safest for the bb if u get 4 hrs of iv antibiotics before bb is delivered. or else bb at high risk of getting brain infection, pneumonia, or bld infection. scary..
reira, was reading up the guidelines on gp b strep and all the major websites like cdc, who, and the american O&G/paediatrics websites all advocate iv antibiotics in labour. giving oral antibiotics before labour commences does not help as the infection can resurface during labour. so u might wanna check with ur gyne regarding this.
