chintz, yah this is my #3 but they are all planned leh, and I plan this to be the final one!

chintz, hehee...the more the merrier ma! if financial permits, i also want more kids...waah!! but 6kids abit kuazhang..hehehe...imagine getting preggy over n over n over again..aiyo...very stressful! hehee....

ideally we want 1 boy 1 gal lo, but max stop at 3 ba..so even if 3 all gals i also wun try for the 4th one le..hehehe...

cherrios, i also told hb, to review our financial again in 1 year's time then decide if want #3. hehe..

if really want #3, we're hoping to try for a rabbit baby.. we're forming a troop of farm animals in the family (chinese birth year)
 
cherrios, the government trying to up the birth rate mah so having more than national average (which is now 1.3kids??) means served national service liao.

Think its good to have them close in age, my 2 girls can now play very well together as they can speak to each other. Yah they share and fight at the same time ha ha. A bit annoying at times of course, but think it will be better when they are older.

Ya, if 3 kids all girls, I also wouldn't try for a boy leh... cos this kind of thing not guaranteed one.

chintz, rabbit bb is which year? 2 more years is it?

so many preparing to pop soon. How i wish my EDD oso early Aug kind.

Me also want close factory after 2. Cant imagine having to go thru another pregnancy n looking after another baby n also d financial strains....
 
chintz, farm animals? hmmmm...r u n hubby born i horse or pig yr? hehee...this pregnancy of mine is planned but we nv bother abt the yr also...hehe..just nw hubby just ask me when wana have #2!!! waah, i was shocked cos normally I am the one asking this qn..hehee...my #1 still in tummy also haven come out lo! hehee...

mich, ya lo...but my hubby wants a boy so can play bball and play games with him..then can "inherit" his comic collection (which is like 2booksheleves full!!) but i dun mind havin 2gals also, cos i feel that gals need companions more than boys..hee..

hello everyone... how's everybody doing? as usual, i cannot keep up with this thread.

went for my 37 weeks checkup y'day and my OB thinks i might pop next week coz bb is 60% engaged already! not ready at all! i put on 7.1kg to date and bb is almost 3kg based on y'day's scan.
 
chintz, ooooo..my hubby aso dog, me rat..hehe..so dun hav farm animals...i think gals born in rabbit yr like very sweet n guai type..hehee..like the rabbit characteristic? really? gal more guai n sensible? hmmm... to me, boy or gal also gd, as long as healthy and filal..hehe...

im due 1 Sep. but according to gynae, maybe can deliver bb at 38 weeks, end aug.

I am supposed to due end Aug abt 20Aug but gynae recently said my EDD is 13 Aug then now I worry I will be earlier than 13Aug....

how do we know/feel the baby is engaged? my gynae said my bb not yet engaged..does that mean bb still take some time to come out? or dun care whether engage or not they want to come out they will?

<font color="0000ff">Irene</font>, losing the mucus plug does not meant in labour, I lost my mucus plug at week 34 day 4 but baby managed to stay in the womb till week 37 day 1 before deciding to come into the world.
 
i tink my edd is the latest here (30 aug) but going to do c-sect by mid aug thou.

celine, my #1 oso same as ur boy. sometimes duno to be angry or find him funny. but can see he is growing up, n easier to take care liao. But another cycle of looking after bb is starting. heheheh

how old is your #1? My boy is coming to 4 in Oct. And yes he is easier to take care of now except when he is hyperactive :p He can do some of the stuffs himself e.g brush teeth/feed himself/ etc so we can focus on #2 now. ;)

Same here, I am having 2 boys now, Kai coming to 6 soon and the new cycle with baby begins. Only difference is that Kai really adores, loves and pampers his little brother. He does things for his little brother.
 
Pris, i agree with you on the never ending worry. When they are bigger n schooling, will worry about studies n if they will get into bad company etc...

Btw saw that Kai has got a place in Nan Hua. Is a good school, thinking to let my son go in there as hb is a ex-student. But then gotta shift house if cfm putting him there.
 
must be the first on national day to pop then entitled the ang paos n hampers right??

i rmb they used to have $8888 ang paos but will deposit into some banks till the child turns 18 yrs old.. by then the money deflated loh..
 
Tulips, 2 of my friends also having 2 boys until they don't want to try 3rd bb cos they are afraid it will be boy again. Unless they are very sure 3rd one is a girl, they will try.

Celine, must engaged then can deliver baby. But baby can engaged anytime one. Maybe today gynae say not engaged then tmr you go into labour as baby engaged suddenly.

Pris, yes..I know. Coz the last round I had mucous plugs for few days and didn't go into labour.

Pegsfur, haha..cannot be more early Aug mummies here lah. I remember the table is a long list leh.
 
celine, when your gynea can no longer c ur bb's face is the ultrascan mean bb is far engaged so cun c the face alrdy! hehee...and when doin VE checkup your gynea can c if ur bb is engaged. my gynea alrdy felt her head the wk before when doin the VE check...

pegsfur, my mum aso born in yr of dragon, n i agree dragon really strong headed..hehee.. but she is those dragon w/o fire kind...lol...usually MIL and DIl can't get along de..think is normal...1 or 2 wks c 1 time still can, i think living together is another matter all together...

Just went for my check up yesterday. And I'm already 2cm dilated!! Gynae mentioned that I'll probably go into delivery end this week or early next week. Kinda expected an early delivery eventhough my EDD is 12 Aug. Excited yet more of nervous

No la, i had signs of pre-mature labour and was admitted in hospital twice in week 28 and 30. Gynae said that also explains for early delivery

Today is such a nice day to sleep in. I woke up in the morning, and msg my colleague that i taking urgent leave, so that i can continue zzz...heehee

shizuka, think even if cfm 3rd is going to be a gal, i might not want to have also. Is really tiring looking after kids n i am not really a kids lover or a gd caregiver. Lucky for mil taking care of my boy since bb till now if not i duno hw many times i might have depression liao.

Tiger ppl also has strong character, i feel.
