well, they switched on the lights, so yes, i get waken up that way.

I dunno how much leh, i got my CL to go mkt to buy. Should be bah. Anyway, it smells much much nicer.

your CL is familiar with the market near your place? i will be asking hubby to buy them for me cos my CL is from malaysia. did you try any thing that help to boost milk supply so far?

anyway, now my HB & doggie finally on 'talking' terms liao. haha! my HB hv been giving it the cold shoulder since yesterday morning. then jus now we came bk (abt an hour+ ago), my goldie dashed to the gate & kept licking my hubby's face & both his cheeks non-stop. haha! my HB can't help laughing. now both of them are out for walk. later tonite my HB going to bring it out again. heehee.

now all is well & 'mummy' is out of the picture liao.

how did you clean your baby's cot? yeah baby dont need to use pillow/bolster yet but i got a beansprout husk pillow for zachary. to place on his chest. a lots of ppl said can calm baby down *donno why tho*

i jus used a damp cloth to clean then let it dry then we use a big plastic cover to cover the whole cot. tok abt washing, i haven't wash the waterproof sheet to place on top of mattreas & the changing mat & his toys yet. argghhh!!!!!! i dun feel like washing his toys leh. so troublesome.

oh, whenever my dog licks me, i'll wash my face. but he seldom licks me lah. haha! actually i'm only ok wif my dog licking me, not other dogs cos i scared dirty. whereas for my doggie, we brush his teeth wif either toothpaste or some special gel and rinse his mouth after his meals.

where did you get the big plastic cover to cover it? a few days ago my FIL opened the door and never closed it properly. then the naughty cat went in and jump on the cot!

i dont plan to wash the toys leh. i got a stroller/cot 2 in 1 toy, baby mirror (put on cot to let him see himself) which i plan to put it out now to air. but you know lah, damn cat will kaypoh if PIL didnt close the door properly. argh. i think i should buy the cot mosquito netting from TMC the next time I go there.

Reira, When I wanted to buy, She sold it to another lady. In the end, the lady did not buy & I found another seller so buy & get it within 1 day of confirmation. According to my seller, KKH asked her to buy it for BF purposes.

the plastic bag is actually the baby's mattress's plastic bag. haha! we cut open the plastic & put it over the cot. cannot cover the whole cot. only the top part. but better than nothing lah. initially we wanted to use the black garbage bag but since we can use the mattress one then jus make do wif it lor.

we also bought 2 stroller/cot toy & 1 cloth book. so i dunno if i shd wash them becos baby shd touch & put the toys in his mouth one mah. sigh.... lazy me...

cats can jump veri high up one. lucky my dog too heavy to jump up. but i also scared when i take out the toys, my dog will snatch wif baby. so i also bought a small bear to give my goldie when i bring baby back home. aiyo, u know, like must intro #1 to #2 like tat. haha!

think the best way is to lock the cats out of yr room. close yr door everytime u get out of the room in case the cats sneak in.

i abit scare of cats. cos once when i walked my goldie ar my mil's pl, 3 stray cats suddenly jumped on my dog & bit him. i was so scaredd tat i screamed. my silly dog also din bite them bk. i so heart-pain then.

Reira, that time I told the nurse my boy will be TBF so they will bring my boy to me whenever he cries. Its roughly every 3hrs.
I think if you are sleeping, they will wake you up. I am same as Mashy, they just on the light and I wake up. Really super tired hor!

That time at TMC, the nurse/lactation consultant teach me how to breastfeed baby lying down as well as cradle. And, they will teach you how to use the pillow to support to feel more comfy.

my hubby said freestyle can just plugin. because it is for from around 100 V to 240 V. 240V is what SG is using (according to my hubby lah). so even if just plug in wont go *boom*.

is lemon grass 1 bunch a lot? haha actually i never saw lemon grass before. but only $0.30!! Then shouldn't be a problem even if i wanna shower every single day.

This is my first post in this thread, though i have been following the thread by reading the archives right from the start every weekends. Difficult to catch up during weekdays.

Finally decided to drop a note of hi.. since its our last lap before we see our babies.

My details:
EDD: 19 Aug 09
Hospital: KKH, Dr KT Tan
BB Gender: Boy

Reira, the midwife already taught me how to latch baby the very 1st time at the delivery suite. Then throughout the day, whenever the nurse bring my boy to me for latching, they will ask if I need help and also volunteer to teach me how to latch lying down.
So by the time its nite time, I can do it on my own already. I just sit up in bed and the nurse will hand baby to me. So when you are done, you can just press the button and the nurse can even help you put baby back in the cot and push back.

But I don't intend to do latching in the middle of the nite this time. I will just let them feed the baby with FM so that I can take this chance to rest since I don't think I have milk the 1st few days.
