Ok, will continue to monitor.

I told my hubby abt the cramps and asked him if i say i gonna give birth now how? Then he laughed and said he'll be blur oso. I told him i haven't even pack my hospital bed and he said u'd better pack it now ... else he wldn't know wat to bring if really wanna give birth.

By the way, i was picking out those white white pimple thing from the nipples and happened to squeeze 1 of the nipples .. got some watery liquid come out leh, though not alot ... is that milk?

the sore throat is better but coughing is worst!
argh!!!
may need to go see GP nearby!

Today my MIL didnt buy oranges, but she bought grapes instead! haha! anyway if bb really got phlem then I got excuse already, its not that I drink cold water everyday...

yah, it's colostrum. Just now i was clearing the nipples and the liq that oozed out is white like milk! No longer clear liq. Hope this is a sign that i'll have better success in bf this time.

ya, hb went to guardian wanna get me strepsils cough syrub, they say cant sell cos i am pregnant! argh! they dont dare to commit and ask to see doc...

many thanks! So pai seh, u're sick and still doing the booties. U have a good rest.

For cough, u can take rhinathiol promethezine. That's what my gynae prescribed me when i was coughing. Can get at the pharmacy.

Yah, I think so too... My MIL is ok lah, I've no episodes so far with her as most of the time I'm not in Singapore.
Today she ask me again who will look after BB in future and which country/city... actually the main concern is still the grandson lor

Why yr MIL last visit buy u so many oranges.... She thought u like it? Than come over with so short notice 1? Tired not to eat too much grapes also. The sugar contain is v high.

Rest well. Recently I am quite heaty also. Nose bleed today. Must avoid fried food.

got once when i was lying on my left side, i used a cushion to support my breasts and suddenly got the wet wet feeling on the side of my left breast as if got liquid dripping down (got the wet wet feeling). i was so shocked! immediatly check my pajamas to see if i was imagining and found out that my pajamas was wet but the wet area very small only like about 10 cent coin size. scary!

my baby yesterday drink 5ml milk . just my husband say baby drink 40ml milk. nurse say i need sent my breastmilk to hospital more le haha....
but he still dun like use milk bottle to feed him .
nurse say wait he want to use milk bottle can go to normal room take care 2days den can go home le .

just to check something..which hospital did you deliver in? and when your gynae said yr amoinotic fluid (water) level is "low", did she give you a figure of how low is low?

cause the last couple of scans i had...gynae also mentioned that level is on downward trend.

celine: 5mls is good, at least he is interested in drinking. pray that boy boy will put on weight fast, all systems will develope properly and can go home soon!

Babymaking: at this stage, all our amniotic fluids will decrease.. thats what i read lah.. its just how low it decreases too...

mashy: make sure u dont drive urself to hosp during labour ah..

pegsfur & mashy: wah, leaking colostrum? thats good what, means next time BF, shouldnt have issue lor...

ermm... i'm not leaking lah. Just clearing the ducts and accidentally squeezed the nipples and out came the colostrum. I didn't leak previously, i hope i don't this time too.

yep, AFI will decrease...but how low is considered low?

cos different doctors have differnt perception of "low", so far low can be anythng from AFI 3-6

babymaking: yeah..true. but hor, my AFI increase leh.. haha... Whole pregnancy was low (cut off is 8cm, mine always about 7.8 to 7.9), now its about8.2 ....

celine: baby is able to breathe on his own right?

next time then i tell u how to massage your breasts to prep for bf. think now tell u, u will prob forget. it was taught by the KKH LC when i had low milk SS and it really helped me increase my milk flow and prepare my hand pumping.
 
weishy, u can ask the LC at the hospital to demo to you the days you are staying there, its like some kind of breast massage...

mashy, I went to see the LC after discharge and she was doing a demo on my breasts, really very comical now that I recall... but not so funny back then cos I was super stressed by what I thought was a low supply.

it's like that lah. At that pt in time, we're all stressed + no sleep. So better be less stressed now and get everything ready. So will have lesser stuff to stress abt.

That's why hate it when some bo liao pp (like u know who lah) add stress to us lor by saying we don't have enough milk, we didn't wrap ourselves like ba zhang etc. We're already so tired, so stressed and they must come and ka jiao us.
 
mashy, i realised that no matter how prepared we are, there is something to be stressed about leh... mb that's normal? I thot I was prepared for #2, but I was still stressed leh!!!

Yah the worst is people say we don't have enough milk, feel like stuffing their mouths :X

yah, esp with #2 syndrome, i find myself even less prepared. Alot of my stuff are not ready yet and i've only 10 days more! For my #1, i was ready even before week 34! I've forgotten most of the things regarding bb care and breastfeeding, so now need to read up again for a refresher course. jia lut...
 
yeah i also fear those pple who come in and insist we got not enough milk supply and have to give formula milk... how would they know we dont have enough milk since the breast isnt theirs!

eh, now i dream almost every night that i in labour and deliver leh! ahahah

my husb might be posted overseas soon also. his parents also very worried about their only child (my husb) and their grandkid...
 
mashy, yes cos we subconsciouly think we already know after #1 so need to be so stressed. For me, since its #3, I only just started to write down my to-do list... I think I am seriously too relaxed already... hope I dun panic later!!

everynite i go to bed scared that my waterbag will burst like my #1... argghhh think i am having some prenatal blues here... my last weekup.. my weight had dropped 1.1kg instead of putting on weight.. so at 34wks my total weight gain onli 7.1kg

now my level drop from 8 to 6 within 2 weeks, so if continue like this..will have to deliver next week cos the cut off at KKH is 5.

wah, so little, i've already put on 12kg at my last check up. Think i'm heading for 14-16kg this time. haha, my fear is contractions, coz that's how i ended up giving birth to my boy. Still remember how damn painful it was.

yah lor. As long as bb cries means not enough milk. Cannot be other things one leh.
 
babymaking: yeah, at least u dont have to worry each time there is a contraction and baby's heartbeat slows down...
 
oh.... but u'll be able to tell if its water bag or urine/ sweat right?

pple tell me the leak is uncontrolable?
 
bbmaking, I also agree with Mashy that you should deliver at week 34 if baby's weight is ok.Safer to see baby and more people to help look out for baby when baby is out.

i'm stressed, scared..no appetite to eat at all these days..

waterbag burst can mean 2 things..
1) water dripping out (like slow flow in tap)
2) water gushing out (like balloon of water bursting)...
the 2nd happened to me.. :p but luckily i had a disposable waterproof sheet on my bed then... had a had time walking to the toilet... had a shower n went down to hospital... put on pad but water still dripping lotsssss on the journey there.
 
smurfy, how come u are afraid of the waterbag bursting... think its a normal part of all deliveries?

bbS, cannot feel it pop, but you will know cos there's urine like liquid leaking out and its almost continuous... cos if we leak urine, its usually only one patch.

bbmaking, hang in there for another week!!

sorry, not following ur case.. but i saw in premmie thread.. u were hospitalized? why dun u continue staying there? think it's safer right? :p and yes, i would rather have a small live bb then...

don't be stressed. just take is as a water bath lor. Wet can always dry back. Somemore not so qiao will have the same thing for both kids. For my #1, i had so many contractions. For this #2, it's so peaceful.

my stress is more on what's going to happen when i deliver?... my boy's sooo sticky to me now.... i dunno and dun think he will be able to cope well when attention from us, adults is shifted when the newbb comes along
