i am gonna make sure my PIL wash their hand (Sars method) before they hug my baby cos they in contact with cats. Especially FIL. Really pray he won't be so er xin as to go and kiss my boy because he smokes. Actually I find it disgusting for anyone to kiss my baby cept hubby but then again, maybe my boy will find it disgusting when he gets older and come to know about us kissing him haha. Thats how i felt when my mom or my dad told me i got kiss my dad before on the lips and it disgusted me! my dad smokes... yucks! and have real bad breathe. maybe not so bad last time but still yucks!

haha, many of us here have heartburn. Preg is one of the reasons for it. But i guess your hb can't be preg.
It's caused by excessive gastric juice. So don't take sour, spicy stuff lah. Don't take food that are diff to digest. Eat bland bland food. Take small meals.
And u can have Eno, or get an antacid! It's not serious lah unless it burned a hole in his stomach, so don't worry. If it doesn't go away, go see dr.

pegsfur, don't be too vexed and just accept whatever your MIL wants to give. Cos she may turn around and tell her friends and relatives that she bought but you didn't accept, and say bad things again. Just take and chuck it one side.

Well, she give, u just take lor. Don't bother too much abt what she says. Since she said that heaven wants to reward her for giving u ang pow for the bb's clothes when she strikes 4D, then perhaps she wants to be rewarded for being nice to your son. I think many pp believe that after u receive good luck, u need to spread it ard else u will get bad luck after that. So perhaps that's why she's giving u money to buy bb's anklet too? Just go and get a cute anklet for your son with the money lah. It's for your son. Not for you anyway. Whatever it is, she's still the grandmother lor. Good or bad. Coz your son will look at how u treat her and will learn that from u. Surely u won't want your son to treat u the same way right? Just think of it as educating your son on how to treat an elder properly. Never mind how she treats u.

Bcoz most of the mummy here encounter this in our first and last trimester.
for your husband, he can go to Pharmacy to get some medicine, but for pregnant lady, we normally don't take medicine, bcoz not sure it is safe for our bb or not.

Sbb, week 34 going 35. Coz got the mucus discharge with some dark brown blood, so Dr Wong wanted me to see him weekly and also to get down all emergency number and also prepare my hospital bag ready. He looked at my #1 history bb came at week 37 so he thinks bb may be early too.
Celine: my immediate boss is a lao-nan-ren, still single. Now, Maju camp also got some cases, my colleague need to go there every Sat to train, becoz he fail his yearly fitness test.

Today, my laughter came from my son.
I was driving him home from school. At a cross junction, he said 'Turn left'. I replied, 'yes, that's right'. He laughed and laughed and kept saying 'turn left, right'. hahahaa. He was laughing at the double meaning of 'right'. So cute! He's my main source of laughter everyday now.

From my understanding, traditionally, the hair from the womb is considered 'dirty' & babies cannot enter the temples. So last time pp will shave the bb's hair at 1st mth before they offer their prayers at the temple with the bb. Nowadays, it has become more like to cut it off so that the bb will grow more hair & many has forgotten the origins of hair cutting in the beginning. To think that my ILs are Christians! Anyway, most Chinese from mainland/taiwan all don't cut their bb's hair anymore coz they say can cause infection to the bb's scalp if not done properly.
Anyway, my boy was born with a head full of hair and very nice type, like he just went to the stylist before he came out. Heheh.
